I'am a metal player , and loved Chet Atkins, amazing player and an absolute gentleman.
A high honor indeed. I'd rather be a C.G.P. than be knighted by the queen.
I’ve got this guitar. Possibly the best Gretsch to date. Tone, simplicity, size, scale, hardware, looks, nitro finish… it’s a gem
what a great story! so much respect for Steve and Chet and Tommy. such awesome talent and they remain humble.
Steve Wariner is a class act, and truly a legend. I remember seeing him at an outdoor free concert in Michigan one day, quite by accident. I always loved hearing him play the Telecaster. Half his show he played an acoustic and in between songs I yelled for him to play the Tele! Well, you could tell that he had heard me and was irritated by that. I have always felt bad and embarrassed by that and I have always wanted to apologize to him for that. I was young and dumb. Sorry, Steve!
Always surprised me Vince Gill didn't get a C.G.P.
👋👋🎸
Why didnt Lenny Breau get a CPG?
I thought Mark Knophler also got CGP.
What? You should have had him play some. This could have been twice as long.
If you haven't seen it, this is a clip taken from a longer episode of Rig Rundown ua-cam.com/video/F1CAfO4elHw/v-deo.html
