    so i burned a dvd using toast the other day but when i did a playback the video itself stuttered a lot. Is this due to a file format from the video i burned to the dvd? The file was a 4k .mov file. Not sure if i should be doing a different file format export to fix this issue.

    Hey Ivan! Very good and informative videos! Glad I found them. However, could you maybe provide an update on ultimate paid burning SW (Toast/Wondershare/NCH Express Burn etc) for Mac with silicone and Sonoma. To me it seems that for Mac of all available (paid) software there are at the end only two options that have CD/DVD/BD burning option - Toast or Wondershare DVD Creator. If you work with video only (DVD and BD) there are more options e.g. Leawo, DVDFab etc. I delay with my purchase of Mac's burning SW due to many negative reports on Tost Titanium/Pro 20. I also haven't got info from Corel support if Toast 20 installation requires enabling kernel extension. Would appreciate any tip and help. Mark.

    Thanks I seen a few of your vids and I been looking for a Blu-Ray burning/Creator software for my Mac 12.6 Monterey.
    Do you know if Toast 20 Pro would work because I cant find any other Blu-Ray Creator burn software that does ???

      Hey, Buzz.
      Do you have a Blu-Ray burning drive? If not, then I wouldn't both with Toast Pro at all.
      To answer your question, Toast 20 Pro SHOULD work, however because Roxio doesn't have a free trial on their app, I'd recommend contacting them to confirm what their refund policy is. I'd hate for you to get stuck with a pricey app that doesn't do what you need.
      Actually ... I went poking around their site and found a page that tells all about the refund policy. Roxio is owned by Corel. Here's the link to their refund policy.
      kb.corel.com/en/129030
      The short answer is that they offer a 30-day money back guarantee. So, that means you can buy it, try it, and send it back if it doesn't work.
      If you do check it out, please write back to let me know whether it worked for you.

      @@HeyIvan Thanks, Yes I have a Blu-Ray burner, I just heard allot of bad reviews on Toast 20 Pro but just need a good software for Blu-ray Creating/Burning.
      Have you had any issues burning Blu-rays with it since this video ?
      I called Corel twice and they had no clue on anything more than what they were reading from the website so they were useless and impossible to understand there broken english..
      Appreciate it

      @@BuzzJones I don't have a Blu-Ray burner, so I only bought Titanium, which doesn't support the Blu-Ray features.
      I'm happy to pick up a burner and the Pro version of Toast in the next few days so that I can give you a better answer.

    Hey Ivan, any idea if it works to burn BD-R?

    • @HeyIvan
      @HeyIvan  Рік тому +1

      Toast Pro can, if you have a DVD burner drive. Titanium does not handle Blue-Ray burning.
      Here’s a link to see the app differences:

    I just install this software on my Macbook pro. I find it very hard to use, you must be a computing enginer to make it work.
    I want ask you: it is possible to create a slideshow with music with toast 20 pro?
    I'm about to give up.

    • @HeyIvan
      @HeyIvan  Рік тому

      Hey, @luigirizzo5722. I apologies if my video led you astray. The purpose of the Toast app. Here's what Toast can do:
      1. Take video or audio files on your computer and put them onto DVDs in a variety of formats.
      2. Rip content from DVDs and turn them into electronic files. (I'm not sure whether this will work with commercial DVDs.)
      3. Copy one DVD and burn a duplicate. (Again, I'm not sure whether this will work with commercial DVDs.)
      4. Record your computer screen.
      5. Create encrypted or unencrypted data DVDs.
      Toast is definitely not the right tool if you're trying to make slideshows. If you're trying to make slideshows, there are a ton of apps out there that can do that. Apple Photos has a slideshow feature built in. However, you can use Apple Keynote, Google Slides, or Microsoft PowerPoint to make slideshows. You could also use iMovie, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and I believe Davinci Resolve to make them, too. Although, I wouldn't recommend them for that. These apps are so powerful that using them for slideshows would almost be like a crime because they can do so much more than that. :)
      There's also an amazing app called FotoMagico, which is either $8 / month or $60 / year. fotomagico.com.
      Any of these options will do everything you want and more.
      If you're within your 30 days of purchasing, I'd recommend seeking a refund for Toast.
