Do you mind telling me how durable they are? Weird question to ask but with my job it kind of kills shoes entirely and with how expensive these are, I don't know if I can afford to be replacing them every few years
I would go with the Quantum as I find they have more cushioning. You can always order each and wear them around your home and see which feels better to you.
I have daily heel and big toe joint pain. Across the top of my feet behind my toes gets a sharp stabbing pain a good bit. When i had a pair of BROOKES i rarely had pain. Looking for a shoe with similar cushioning but needs to be able to handle hard hikes and physical labor.
If this shoe has not worked for you, why don't you go back to Brooks. Have you tried NB? I did a review on this one you might like: ua-cam.com/video/v1rm3GJuAoQ/v-deo.html
@@SidsTips the Brookes ive had and seen arent durable enough for work. Havent found a boot that is comfortable enough either. Besides the slowly falling apart, the Brookes have been the only shoe that doesn't leave my feet aching at the end of the day. When I first got kuru I feel like I remember them being pretty comfortable. I don't remember there being as large of a selection as there is now. I'm looking for a shoe that us durable and support comfortable at the same time. Just looking for suggestions.
How would you compare this to more mainstream shoes like Adidas Ultraboost and New Balance 990v6? Is it as cushioned? What makes it better? I'm aware of the heel pad feature. But is it better than mainstream shoes for casual wear?
I can't say if it is better, but it does have decent cushioning and stability. I would suggest ordering them and trying them and you can always, return them if you don't like how they feel. The company did improve the shoe nicely.
So, wide shoe + wide toe box + insoles for all day wear. A person who works in healthcare and has toenail problems and plantair fascitis. Would this be the shoe for me?

They are a high quality shoe!
What do you think would work better for foot pain atom or quantum? Balls of feet hurt and I have fallen arches and inward rolling. Thank you!

Not sure about toenail problems but I would say for plantar fasciitis yes.
