I can feel it in your voice the way you are talking, that you don't really like it , but this is a brilliant car from every point of view ,and more reliable than a BMW aswell . There is a very good saying : it doesn't matter who you were , it matters who you are , and I don't care about BMW's history if at the end of the day it goes home on a platform , but a KIA is more reliable and this one has brilliant driving dinamics , so leave the crap aside and face it , it's a great car and yes , it can compete with BMW ;-)
I was looking at getting a BMW 4 series grande coupe but this stinger is starting to change my mind. It makes the 4 series look dated especially the interior.
How often do you have to refuel? Going to have to take a 1200 mile drive in a couple of months. I have been reading that it's bad on gas but it has a 15.9 tank.
This car was built by the top engineers at both Audi's S line and BMW's M performance division. It's a fantastic car for what it is and has a 10 year warranty!!! This car is the true Supra successor. The aftermarket is also picking up.. Folks are doing the quarter mile in 12s now with some close to the 11s. This car will see 10 second quarter miles reliably and be able to drive to work, get groceries etc! THAT is what you're paying money for... Not just a badge on the car. Of course if you just need the badge, the competition is available and will suit those needs just fine. BUT if you want a fantastic car built by the best in the business for under 60k fully equipped, the Stinger is the best choice 👍
Bruh I personally find the sound this car makes to be so good. Like, amazing. It's actually impressive taking into account it is a Kia, and I just say that because I have always found Kias to be just humble cars.

the problem is that the other brands are seen as status symbol, that is far more important for people. they can make a car superior in every way to the other brands and people would still not care because the brand kia is not an status symbol.
You can change nearly all options, including start/stop chimes in the steering wheel controls. All Kia/Hyundais offer control over chimes, lights etc in settings 😉
When going well above 150km/h, air gets extremely thick and passing through it requires lots of power. Any imperfection in the car's aerodynamics just creates more and more drag. The fuel consumption figures at high speeds is well in excess of 30-40 liters per 100km (6-7 mpg, even less). No wonder the Veyron for example can completely dry it's 100L tank in 10-12 minutes at top speed. Every frickin' minute, ~10 liters of fuel is burned away.

A fantastic car. Yes fuel economy isn’t great but for those speeds who cares so much when you’re getting a car kitted to the max as standard spec- the Kia GT S, and a 7 year warranty. What you pay at the pump more often is for me a decent trade off for the price, quality and warranty. You don’t see too many on the roads either, but thousands of mundane BMW 5 series, Audi 4 series as so many are leased or company cars. Be bold, be Kia 😁😁.
Great car but massively let down by horrendous fuel economy and CO2 output. 15% improvement and this would be a viable alternative to German marques. Battery located in the spare tyre well means LPG conversion (to deal with poor mpg) is a pain too. Would buy one if these issues were rectified or mild hybrid system integrated or even just battery moved to enable LPG conversion.
Hey so the price is around the same in Norway, good to know we are not alone with the ridiculous taxes. Though you guys at least get some decent roads for those taxes.
For the people wondering why.. This car has 145%! That's right, a 145% taxrate in the Netherlands.. It goes from 40.000 euro KIA is asking for it, to a wopping 99.000 euro incl. tax.. So you pay more tax on this car then it actually costs.. That's the Netherlands for you as a car country, hell-hole for carlovers.. Respect for these AutoTop guys being successful as a car channel in a anti-car country like that (although obviously this channel is now more international)..
Ask our government.. They invented this so called BPM tax which is based on CO2 output of the car (which get added to the already pretty high 21% VAT tax).. And this Stinger GT with it's "oldfashion" V6 produces a lot of CO2 output, so the BPM tax on it is enormous.. Our government think it needs to take a "leading role" in the "war on climate change" with this.. That's the excuse.. Like it's gonna help if you're the only country having the tax as such a tiny country and car market.. It's basically just a screw over the working class people by making cool cars totally unaffordable for them.. In reality it just one of the many 'we need money' taxes to pay for our very generous social security and healthcare system.. The car is a very easy and political correct target for this kind of tax.. Plus there is lobby from lease-companies going on who profit from the current tax rating on cars because more and more people start leasing instead of buying.. Almost 50% of all cars sold in The Netherlands is leased already (privately and business) and this number is still growing.. Not long to go before most of the new cars are leased and not actually bought by the user.. We're just getting royally screwed..

Where do you get these cars?
A Kia Stinger GT on Dutch plates.. That's gonna stay rare..
Respect for these AutoTop guys being successful as a car channel in a anti-car country like that (although obviously this channel is now more international)..
inflatable2 Huh, why is the taxrate so high for this car?
@@inflatable2 LOL....
@@AKdsad100 I don't think it's funny at all, it sucks.. Me as a car lover was born in the wrong country..
I'd love to see the mortality rate if Australia had roads like this
Our country is full of inbreds and it would be absolutely catastrophic if we did.
LINK DO NOT WORK (as always...) to Montar phone mount. What is this scam dude? Every video you upload I can't get into the website, it's not hosted properly.
The KIA Stinger is based of on a audi A7
And the KIA Proceed is based of on a audi RS6

The fuel needle moved 2 notches in the high speed test.
South Korean state music hahahaahhaaha. Dude that was hilarious.
Its better than North Korea anyway! :)
WoW,,, I really didn't know this car had/has this much fans according to the comments here. Hmmm, I think Stinger is well priced(not in Europe) sports sedan for new and returns it's performance as a second hand used car with lots of tuning potential. Looks great, practical, and have a decent performance to follow up the look.
So sad Kia is going to stop producing this well valued car.
I tend to dislike the Dutch accent and this blend reviewer... Mr. Powershhh I love Gooold... The car is for the American market, where turbo charged petrol engines are NOT the norm, that's why the red Turbo sign, there it costs around 35 000 dollars, this car atually has unbeatable quality-performance ratio in the States ....
And its easy to tune too!
The steering seems to shake when it goes fast and seems noisy
Wow. The wide angle lens is giving me a headache.
