Could you help me!! Trying to upload a cg trader .cd4 model and the materials are all a bright lit colour. In the project inspector it doesn't seem to have all the materials either even though they are all listed in material manager. Also what I could select assets of active elements the ones that are in there did seem to link but are still are bright lit (looks like a light) colour in material manager.
Hello Alicia, that sounds like an annoying issue! So the Material Manager simply showcases all the materials/shaders. If there are no unique texture maps included in each material, there will be no mention of them in the Project Asset Manager. A few things to check: 1. Are the texture maps that are imported in a supported file format? (I've had issues with .dds files before) If so you'll have to manually convert the texture files and re-import them. 2. Are the shader settings correct? 3. Are you in the wrong render-engine? And you're simply getting a rendering error? It would really help if you could send a screenshot of the issue to leo@blauwfilms.com Then I'll give it a look and I can hopefully help you more. Best, Leo
