Hey everyone, I hope you're all having a good Fall! I'm excited to get back into some penny boxes and see how far we can get in this collection! Here are a few stats for you from the end of the series: Total US coins found: 178 out of 279 possible US Album Percentage Complete: 63.8% Complete Rarest coin found: 1923-S at 8.7 million minted Oldest Coin Found: 1917 (101 years old) Hopefully the next 8 boxes bring some more good luck!
Hey Quin's Coins. Thanks for showing your findings in your report card. That's awesome. You have my blessing. Hope you will find some treasures in the rest of boxes. Have fun. :)
By the way, I love your nice finding of the 1960 shiny penny. For the steel pennies, I found quite a few nice looking one in my local coin shop. They are $1 for all three.
I started collecting circulated pennies back in the 70's. My parents had started keeping Indian heads when they arrived to the US in 1957. Of 338 pennies, I found 294. Need 44 more pennies (39 wheat and 5 Indian heads). I was able to find 1857, both 1858 flying eagles and 7 VDB 1909 pennies in change, throughout the years. I came across a 1928D the other day. If I knew, I would have done coin roll hunting back in the 70's, never thought about it. Congrats on getting 64% of the pennies.
Hey quin... Your videos has helped me get back into coin hunting. I actually found a 1943 S in a box just this past weekend. I was super excited. Anyways I’m from Michigan as well and thought I’d say thank you for the content
Hi Ryan-Love your videos but I’m a novice and need advice. I get boxes of penny’s from my bank. Here’s what I do: I save all 82 back. That includes wheats and whatnot. I save all 09’s and 17P’s. I separate them in wheat, 1959’s, 09’s, and 17P’s. Also really nice coins might get a flip or their own roll. That’s it. That’s all I do and I have a strange feeling I’m losing out on something. Is there something else I should look for? Thanks (oh, I also set aside Canadians, euros, and other foreign and odd looking coins).
Good video man. Your videos are very entertaining. One thing you might have overlooked though, in your Lincoln cent album you said you hadnt been able to find a 2009-D. You're holding one in your left hand at 12:58. lol Just teasing ya man. Take care and keep up the good work.
That is all good news. Continuing on with the series and doing so well with your books. Hope all is well with you. Cold here rather early for us. Fall is crazy here anyway. ATB & HH
Check out the video I made on my channel. I give you and your channel a shout out at the end! If you don't mind, I'd like to promote you on my next video too! Your'e like a movie star to me.
I’m in high school when I was in the bathroom washing my hands I saw a penny on the ground I was gonna pick it up and hit a friend with it but I thought I wonder what the date is and it was a 1927 wheatie in perfect condition I was amazed
Just found you. I have been off and on coin roll hunt my whole life. I use to get complete pay check in my teenage years in rolls. I am back at coin roll hunting and trying to get my kids (14, 12, and 10) into. I have few boxes to go though in the next couple month and plan to use your point system to get them involved if they want to. I am interested in why you don't separate out or count the coppers. I hold all copper pennies, and have for most of my life.
Hi Ben! I used to sort out coppers, but don't anymore. I move around a lot and transporting large quantities of coins is a pain. Storage is an issue too. For me, it just isn't worth it anymore.
I’ve been waiting for some Quins Coins! Love it! Where can I get one of those collection books? Also I’ve been grabbing wheat pennies since I was a kid and never knew anything special about dates but going through my wheats a few months back I found that I had a 1931 D which is a key date penny. Was pretty excited about it

Hi Quin the chance of finding George 5 penies is slim I have been collecting pennies since around 1971 and have never found one in change or a coin roll probably because the design is different they are easy to spot and have long ago been picked out . The good news they aren't that hard to come by coin dealers always have them and most are inexpensive.
Actually the Canadian one cent from 1992 has the lowest minted rate after 1920. Quit surprised you've found that one, while hunting for pennies in the USA. Congratz on your serie, I enjoyed it!
Nicely done! Where did you get that Canadian book?! That is very nice! Up here I find a ton of 2009 pennies, but I very rarely find any nickels, dimes or quarters..I haven't ever found a 2009 nickel or dime in pocket change/CRHing.
i have civil war bllets, gold plated coins, and i Have a 1976 Biccentenial Set that comes with a penny, a dime, a drummer boy quarter, a liberty half dollar, and a liberty bell on the moon ike dollar coin.
Quin, I am new to penny collecting. I find it as a fun thing to do when you have some money to spend. What is the best penny collecting book to get? One that is affordable, and can store many of the pennies I find in the future. Thank you. And good luck with your penny collecting. It’s interesting!
Found two 1918's in 2 consecutive rolls. (Both grade in "good"), where do you usually get your coins? Do you know if you can order coins from a bank and have them delivered in mail?
Hello, my name is Bernadina I live in San Antonio Tx, and I started collecting coins as well, I get several 2009 pennies, in my $25 dollar boxes, I would love to order a coin chart .
Last week I was going through a box and found a 1921 Canada one cent, that was awesome to find and I dong know about you I find quite a few Bermuda one cent's and I live in Massachusetts.
@@QuinsCoins ya this is the only KG5 I've found. It's in not bad shape, looks really cool and stuck out like a sore thumb in the sea of Lincoln monuments and shields.
Just getting started. Dang, 200 pennies must have taken forever to go through. It takes me hours just to go through one box. Unless this is just an overview of the whole series, in which case, nevermind lol.

Honestly there are a lot's of Lincoln coin which are very hard to obtain to your collection Those collector pennies or proof pennies. they are not running in regular rolls. Back to your collection of 2009 P & D Lincoln coins . There is 2009 San Francisco version of pennies and those you won't be able to find them in regular penny rolls. There is a plenty coins to find them . For example collection of 1974 Lincoln Coin, 1969 , 1960 , 1981 type 1 and type 2 and etc; Plus I do have collector Lincoln pennies and Proof Lincoln Penis and Monte Cello pennies which they never been touched by human hand, Let me tell you it is a lot's work and effort to obtain all those coins. Starting 1857 Eagle penny till 2018 S proof. `I am still searching for pennies even I have completed entire collection of American Small Pennies . Only what I missing is 1877 Indian Head , 1909 S Indian Head and 1909 VDB Lincoln Penny otherwise such 1922 D or without D I do have in collection. Good luck for hunting !!!! Otherwise I like every new video clip.

A pretty good mix of awesome stuff Quin! Thanks for sharing.
Woo! Ryan's back in business.
Love the series! Glad to hear you'll continue!
Very Nice Ryan awesome Glad your back in action Thanks AL
Awesome job and great finds. Happy Hunting.
Thanks!
Hi quin! I absolutely LOVE your videos! They're so entertaining and fun to watch! I just got a 1922 s wheat penny out of my last box!
Thank you so much! And I would check that 1922 again...they didn't make a 1922-S, so it's probably a 1922-D. Still only 7.1 million minted!
Quin's Coins LOL yup it's very slick and looks like a S but it must be a D!
I'm glad you decided to continue. I am on box 86 for this year, hopefully able to get through 100.
Weasel 6Three, that’s a lot of boxes. Congrats.
My best coin roll hunting find so far is a 1917-S Wheatie.

Bet love the videos, and you were the one who got me into to coin collecting

Thank you Shirl, things are relatively well. Just been busy, thanks for checking in! I hope all is well with you too
My original guess was 66.8% of the album... Pretty close.. It will be interesting on how the second series goes. Glad to see a fresh video up!
Very close! I'm hoping to break 75% in the next 8 boxes but it is going to get tough quick.
I hope you will find all the coins you need to finish these collections. Good luck man!
Thanks Vitalii!
Awesome video some nice finds

Just watched your vid, it was great!
keep up the CRHs. I especially like the ones with your cousin.
One of my best recent CRH finds is a nice 1920 canadian cent. I think there is a sm date and lg date variety, mine was small.
Wow you’ve had a good year!

I am at box 5 with my album. I will see if I can catch up!
I’m through 2 and a half boxes and have found 10-15 wheat pennies.

Fantastic! Great to see ya!
Hey Quin, I found three 1955 s in one roll in au/bu condition. I know its hard to believe but I really did. Happy hunting!
I'd suggest buying unsearched wheat pennies. Iv perchused far less pennies and have a more filled book. Good luck hunting.

Yup! The address is:

Thank you!
My 1960-1979 coins are all gorgeous ranging from EF-MS65
Great video
Good luck finding that 1922 plain very rare and valuable I actually found one in some of my dads old coins my mom gave me after he passed
For sure a tough one! I'm not sure how many (if any at all) are left in circulation!
If I had this book the Lincoln cent ones I’d have it mostly filled I keep all the cooper ones anyway
Found two 1918's in 2 consecutive rolls. (Both grade in "good"), where do you usually get your coins? Do you know if you can order coins from a bank and have them delivered in mail?
I don't believe you can. I order my boxes at a local credit union
@@QuinsCoins do u get them shipped to you though?
I have tons of really old pennies and I believe I have like 5 or 6 1923-S’s
Yeah those more modern Canadian cents are harder to find since they've been melting them down since 2012
Yes I believe it is also a 1916
My mom has a steel cent penny. I'll have to check the year though.
I'm interesting in getting a book for my Canadian coins that has all the dates and if I get one how is the plastic against the coins?
the plastic is soft, probably whit PVC i think.
Look for the Canadian 1985 pointed 5 they're rare and worth a bit I got a ms65 one for my birth year
I have searched 107 boves over the last two years. The 2009s are getting harder to find, in the last box I got more wheats than 09s
This happens to me almost every box! Crazy how difficult they are to find up here!
So going to search more boxes now?
its me or you used a 1937-1947 ( probably 1946-1947/ML ) specimen for the canadian cent in the thumbnail ?

Last week I was going through a box and found a 1921 Canada one cent, that was awesome to find and I dong know about you I find quite a few Bermuda one cent's and I live in Massachusetts.
exceptional find ! circulated 1921 cent isn't really valuable, but still a semi-key of the series.
That's awesome! I've only ever found one KG5 and it was actually in my first ever penny box. Haven't found one since!

I also found a 41 s and a 47 s
In northwest Ohio I get so many Canadians that I stopped calling them "Foreign's".
they are more common now in ohio than here in canada !
Should I start looking for Lincolns in Canada?
i mean, just finding a box of cent here can be really difficult.
Can you guys all go to Rob Finds Treasure, new logo video and vote for the fist logo "RFT 1"
My dad found a 1912 I think
Awesome!
I get about 15 2009s a box so in 8 boxes I would get about 120
I average about 1 '09 a roll, so in a box I get a full role of 'em
