Make sure after updating to new firmware to reset settings and after that to use the outer reset button of the cam. That makes sure that your camruns stable. If you forget to reset first settings an then the cam it may leaves some installing files or older files. For support try to use the forum
Question, will this help camera actually show on the app , application that you download from Google or iPhone play store … mines doesn’t show up on the App it’s recording, but it doesn’t show video on the App also, it keeps on turning off every so often and coming back on while the car is driving. I don’t know what’s causing this.
I buy this camera and it look pretty good. But the first issue I had was that WIFI stop working. I submitted a ticket to viofo and they replace the unit. The second one works fine for a several days and in less than a mounth still have the same issue like in the first one. On paper is a good camera, but I think it have a several issues with the wifi module. Instead of these issue the rest of the camera work fine and is a good machine until the wifi stop working. I don`t know if I have bad luck at two times in a round or is the real quality of the dashcam
After firmware update, my Viofo keeps crashing instantly upon trying to connect to the camera... I've tried turning off my phone, redownloading the app, pressing the reset button on the dashcam, airplane mode, deleting apps for more memory, nothing stops the app from crashing.
Trying to update to the latest version 1.8, copied the firmware onto the MicroSD card, inserted it, power it on. Starts up normally, but after checking the card, the firmware file has been deleted. Firmware is still on version 1.1
@@PermaVexed It's all bull shit. The A139 and its counter part labeled with the "Pro" moniker (for whatever reason) are not set up with software to actually install the firmware. It's all bull shit.
They come with the unit, assuming you bought a multi camera unit. They have the advantage of being very slim compared to standard usb cables, and the ends have a very small footprint so much easier to feed through to the rear/front.
Hi there, i just have a question about this dash cam, i bought it a few months ago it was working really good until yesterday it stopped recording and the red light on the "rec" keep flashing , first i thought it about full memories so i took the sd card and plug it to my PC tried to erase all the videos recorded from last week and put it back in to the dash cam but it still flashing on "rec" and i couldn't connect to the wifi, the power is on but no recording, i just wondering how to solve this problems, thanks you.
So my interior cam had a purple tint then I realized I didn’t take off the plastic protective covering on the lens. It’s easy to miss as the pull tap is so tiny.
It has a purple tint because the camera doesn't have an infrared filter (to be sensitive to IR leds). It is totally normal, and the only way to avoid this would be to have a mechanically switchable IR filter (like some home security camera do), but considering the size of this tiny camera, I'm not surprised it doesn't do this.
You need wifi connection only when you want to access settings or browse the footage via mobile phone. Most of the time WiFi is turned off in my dash cam.
New firmware is great. Added option to turn off led lights. Before I had piece of tape on the led's. Well done Viofo!

I was working hard on this shit 4h . after the stupiest Idea to took the Original Car 12V to USB Charger it worked!
Yeah, it needs a lot of amps to work correctly.

I have a rear camera issue where the cable has wiggle room and causes the camera to disconnect… it’s annoying but just filed a ticket…

Turn off after 10mins if no connection. If someone need the WiFi stay on, need to contact us to get customized firmware.
Does the card have to be formated a certain type NTFS, FAT32?
FAT32 for cards greater than (I think) 32GB.

Check if the WiFi wasn’t reset to factory defaults. Or reset it to defaults yourself.
