Thank you! I just purchased an A139 Pro and got a SanDisk "High Endurance" card instead of a "Max Endurance." I had no idea the difference would affect the functionality of the camera.
Great to hear
I had a lot of these issues when I purchased my Viofo A129 Pro Duo a couple years back it ran very very hot had to put a fan on the exterior to keep it cool at all times, it drained my battery even when I set the voltage switch to 12Volts not to mention it kept beeping at times had to change the memory card a few times even their own brand cards had issues so I went with the thinkware this time especially since I need parking mode to be very advanced hopefully I don't regret it ...but thanks for this video good job 👏
Your Welcome. I would say over 90% of the challenges are solved with these steps.
Right on Ben,
This should help tons of folks.
Thanks for the shout out.

Thanks for doing the research
Just got an A139 Pro, still need to do install. Thanks for the info.
Your welcome.
It's a great cam, you won't be disappointed. I have the main front unit x2 for both front and rear :D
@@Stallzyx Nice
I am buying an A 139 pro 2 channel I was just wondering what is the best card for it And the highest GB I should get. I've been watching your channel for a while, and that's why I'm buying this camera. It seems like the best one out there so I appreciate the info And the feedback "Safe drive solution" gives you the best information for dash cameras period thank you very much
I would get a Viofo SD card and 256 is biggest I would get. 256GB seems to mostly be operating well. However they just did a huge change to the app. So maybe that will correct those challenges that were with the 512
Yeah, I had it happen after taking the cards out my cameras to back up fortunately. When I went to put one back in, one of the A139 Pro units refused to let the card work and then I had to quickly take it away to my PC to format before I could set off on a trip. There has been some times when I go to stop recording to tweak the settings in the android app, and the camera starts recording again in 2 channel while I'm still in the settings menu so I usually stop and start once I'm done looking at the settings screen (usually to check space left on memory, even though it overwrites I very rarely let it)
All my cards are sandisk max endurance too so surprised that I had to format one to fix after like less than 4 months of very light use, only driving once every few weeks or each month if that
@@Stallzyx That is why I mentioned that Viofo recommends formatting once a month in the video. Because if you have too many locked files for whatever reason it allows the unit to operate better.
How do I stop the A129 plus rear camera from constantly falling after 3-5 days of sticking?
I like to use antiseptic wipes clean the windshield and then use 3mtape on bracket to mount ot windshield.
I’ve had the Viofo A119 v3 for a year now using the SanDisk High Endurance and have had no issues 🤔
You should be fine. Some of the newer models with starvis 2 have been extra picky
Love your tutorial and very informative and easy to understand. Maybe you can help me with this? I'm receiving Error code-13: Execute error message on my VIOFO 130. Any information about this?
I am pretty sure you need to push red button on app to stop recording before going into settings
The ones you said are recommended is that in 512gb too?
On support tab of website it will explain which dash cam supports 512gb. If you are getting a 512gb i would get a Viofo sd card. But that is my prederence provided your dash cam supports 512
Thanks for the video! However, my issue of beeping only came after I removed the micro sd card to review footage, and reinserted it. nothing else changed, but it keeps beeping. too frustrating. Maybe I need to wipe out the full card? anything else?
Definitely format the sd card.
The only other thing i ever seen once was the sd card tray got damaged.
@@SafeDriveSolutions You are right, I just did the formatting and now works. However its weird it would need to be formatted since its the original card that was always used for the a139pro, and simply taking it out and reinserting would not have thought making it different.
@@JW-mx3qg sometimes you could have too many locked videos
Do you know why the camera often single beep but still recording at that time? Had trouble finding the info on the web.
single beep? not sure what you mean. unless you are talking about when it changes from ignition on to parking mode
@@SafeDriveSolutions oh I mean it will beep three of four times randomly during my driving trip but I might figured it out. Pretty sure its the G sensor that saves a certain moment when it feels vibration and it will make those beeps.
@@FrankZwa123 hit emergency recording button and see if it behaves the same
I’m having problems with this thing on a recording few moments of driving or a few moments in between drives nothing like the whole full clip of the whole drive which is really disappointing
I would try formatting the SD card. We have seen improper SD cards do something similar. What SD card are yoiu using?
What are you think about Vantrue Nexus 5 (N5) can you make review video about Vantrue Nexus 5 (N5) vs Viofo A139 Pro witch one better Thank You
I have reached out to Vantrue for an N4Pro.
I just installed my a139pro, updated the firmware, have the recommended SD card, have the proper hardwire kit. Everything seems to work, however I'm looking for the proper information on how the camera is to operate when the car starts/shuts off. It seems like the wifi comes on automatically when the car starts and when the camera goes into parking mode, it locks a video file automatically. Is this proper behavior?
the beeping between continuous recording and parking mode is just a transition beep. It should not say Video protected everytime you turn your vehicle off.
@@SafeDriveSolutions ugh. Mine is doing that sometimes, but not all the time. I also had it lock up today when I started the car and had to unplug it.
You mentioned that wifi should not be on while driving, is that a setting in the app cause I didn't see it. Guess it turns on by default and then may turn off???
@@jackal2001a So it is saying video protected when turning off the ignition? That is definitely not normal. I have never seen that. I would contact Viofo Support. To turn Wi-Fi off. Just push and hold Wi-Fi button for 5 seconds and it will be defaulted to off.
@@SafeDriveSolutions yes it protected the video when I shut off the car. I can't recall if it did it after I did the firmware upgrade. It definitely did it on the firmware that shipped with the camera. I just got back and it didn't do it this time when I shut off the car.
For the wifi, thanks. Next time I'll just hold the button to turn it off. I wasn't sure if the setting stuck or everytime you start the car they default to on again.
@@jackal2001a The WiFi will not turn on automatically if you have turned it off manually. It is better to just turn on the WiFi when you need to use it. Besides, the settings will not be defaulted after turning off the camera. You need to press the emergency button and WiFi button at the same time for seconds to reset the camera. About the error in the voice notification, have you checked your card? Are there locked video files after you hear Video Protected? Please update the latest firmware to confirm if it helps.
And i was wondering why my 139 pro is randomly beeping for like 20 seconds while driving. I am using a Samsung SD card and just recently another old one just died.
Great chance that is the problem
I had blackvue before. It always restared every ten minutes. That was becase I used wrong SD card.
I bought Viofo 139a and 2 different Simcard from VIOFOS home page. 125mb and 256 mb. Its the same behavior as Blackvue. My VIOFE restarts every 20 minutes. Relly enoying.
What do you mean by restarting? Dash Camera shuts down and starts up again?
I love that sound hahaha i want to have it like notificaction sound in my cellphone!!
Anyone knows where can i get it? Lol
Just screen record it
for me it was the rec button, somehow I disabled the record from the app I think.
Yes I have seen this many times
привет друг! я настроил регистратор , порковочная запись по собитии. регистратор в режиме парковки работает пару минут и выключается. когда есть движение , событие, регистратор не включается. G сенсор не работает кажется
which dash camera did you setup? We have seen certain dash cameras fail in motion detection
VIOFO A139 PRO
как победили эту проблему? сенсор нужно поменять на регистраторе?
@@SafeDriveSolutions VIOFO A139 pro
@@user-ng4uq5xb9x we set it for low bitrate or time lapse mode.
What about the GPS light?
Is your GPS light not working?
Tbh my device has been malfunctioning for 2 days now. It doesn’t record on parking mode and it starts recording while driving then suddenly it stops and starts beeping. Very disappointing so far and what makes it worse it’s not caught close calls I’ve had on the road. Idk if it’s an installation problem or product problem.
@@rudysorto6504 What specific model # of dash camera do you have? What SD card are you using?
@@SafeDriveSolutions A139Pro the VIOFO one, the most with memory.
@@rudysorto6504 Viofo memory card? Those are typically good. Have you tried formatiing your sd card for fat 32?
none works. I am returning mine
Yours is beeping? The only time I seen none of these work is the SD card tray was damaged which means it would not recognize any SD card anyways.
My Viofo A129 pro boot loops after working flawlessly for 18 months. I paid a lot of money to have it installed professionally and this cheap crap broke. Never buying a Viofo product every again. Low quality crap.
viofo uk is recommending integral - INTEGRAL DASHCAM HIGH ENDURANCE MICROSD CARDS oops sorry for cap cut n pasted
That is a possibility that there are different SD cards in different regions. I am just quoting Viofo.com in North America.
