  • After being told my dash camera footage wasn't good enough to prove fault of another driver responsible for damaging my vehicle, I upgrade to a 3 dash camera system. In this video I hardwire this Viofo a139 3 channel dash camera inside of my brand new 2021 Toyota highlander. You can apply this method to pretty much any vehicle. Like comment and subscribe.

      The grounding wire is connected to the car's chassis. Find any bolt, loosen it, and then tighten it.

    Great video! I have this set up myself and it works really well. Your video was one of the tipping points for me as to which camera to get as I had my eye on this one.
    Choosing the right micro SD card is vital (Samsung Pro Endurance) with at least 128G to hold the video files. I think that the app works well also. Thanks again!

    the internal camera is good for lateral impacts (shopping carts, cars, door hits while parked). it also triggers in park mode. btw the reply that the insurance requires rear cam is BS, they just play to see if it would stick. if you persuade with a reply of a lawsuit, they will budge.

    Great video...sad why u had to make it but yes we have 2 find a silver lining in all situations and that would be getting a dash cam. I have a 2012 Denali and was able 2 capture a break in of a vehicle at my work...Sadly they had no front license plate cause they stopped right in front of my SUV and when they drove off there speed was to fast to get a clear image only got a blurred license plate. It was clear to get a full description of the car. So even that was good enough for me 2 help the lady who's truck was broken into. She did hand it over 2 police....Hope you have more peace of mind as i do with this same Dash came...thanks again for your video and God bless..takecare n bsafe 🙏

    I think u should adjust the position of the interior camera. The position is causing blind spots especially on the passenger side. A good positioned interior camera can take the place of the rear camera but not the other way around. Having a proper view of the sides is invaluable in a side-on event that none of the other cameras can replicate.

    Great video. Quick question my friend. Are the fuse taps you're using universal? I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I need parking mode with my A139 dash cam and I want to make sure it doesn't kill my battery. I already have the hardwire kit.

    • @Edward3jr
      @Edward3jr  2 роки тому +2

      This is a good question, If your grand Cherokee uses mini fuses, this fuse tap will work for you. You just have to find out what fuse size you need (standard, mini, low profile mini, etc…) and buy the fuse tap for that size. According to VIOFO, Parking mode should not kill your battery. I had this same concern initially and so far I have not had any issues yet. Let me know if you have any questions about this!

      I forgot to mention, you can buy fuse taps at advance auto parts. They call them fuse holders. You will find it in their fuse section. They look like this. This would be a mini low profile.
