When you give discus fish hiding spots it changes their behaviour incredibly quickly. You actually try to scape discus tanks at the back to try to bring the fish to the front. I agree that with the volume and the flow rate at least from the surface agitation and the fact that the fish aren’t really swimming. This does look overstocked.
