620L Discus tank Species: Symphysodon discus Extra fish: Plecostromus, Corydoras, Botia, German Ram, Electric Blue Ram, Neon Tetra, Cybiceps, Razbora...
This tank is not over stocked I kept discus 3 years ago in a 95 gallon I had 16 of the and they shared the tank with 55 tetras and was very happy. When I moved and sold the tank a pro fish keeper was more than happy to take the tank and all of the fish of my hand as is every so often I go visit them and the set up is the same way I had it. Love tank keep up the good work .
Your tank is great... Just started keeping fish this year and love discus. Mine are 5 inches and still growing, hopefully they will be close to as big as yours!
Oh my god the colurs are amazing on these fish. I'm upgrading soon to a 55 gallon and ill be putting some discus in there. I just absolutely love these fish.
Angelfish with Discus can be done, just make sure there are more Discus in the tank then Angels. 3 Discus to 1 Angel to be safe. More Angels will dominate the Discus and out compete them for food.
I had good fortune with one pair of rams from Petco. And had been hooked on trying new ones from there since. But no matter how prepared my tank was, the rams would get swollen stomach's, then pass shortly thereafter. The source of these fish should be looked into. Would make a good expose. Selling rams with destroyed immune systems should not be allowed in a major chain.
...and this tank is not overstocked. People use the internet to spew their opinion as fact, Ive had a blue coral lobster in with my discus, I keep an l240 at 86 and its growing so fast my lfs doesnt believe it. The most important thing is keep the water clean, wc a MINIMUM OF 2 - 3 times a week
Joseph Smith I do once a week sometimes 2 and my 200 gallon is crystal clear and water parameters are superb. 2 to 3 seems like overkill but whaterever rocks your boat
I'm just tired of seing overstocked aquariums. people are greedy. I have a 265 g tank with 4 discus, about 60 neon tetras and couple small rubber nose plecos. all fish are happy and nice to look at.
overstocked?!?!? Discus in the wild PREFER to be tightly schooled with literally hundreds of other fish.....If you have great filtration and maybe a large sump ect... with regular maintenance I would agree to each their own. The behavior of the fish tells me they are happy and stress free. BEAUTIFUL TANK!
Yes, in the wild they school close up, however, the environment is what matters (similar to 30 people in a small room compared to 30 people or many more in a stadium)
Most beautiful red diskus what i ever seen...and the others are also great, but red are the best...men, where can i buy this perfect red discus, please tell me...
i am a "real" fish keeper! i dont over stock my tanks myself, but im sick of all the "experts" trying to tell everyone how they should run their tanks! unless you see a bunch of fish in one tank swimming on their sides, you have to assume they are happy and healthy! when yo out grow keeping gold fish, then you can be an "expert"
I'm currently setting up a 120 gallon planted discus tank. I'm torn on the filtration part of my project. I was going to buy 2 Fluval FX6 canister filters, but I dont like the fast current in my discus tank. I'm leaning more toward doing a 30 gallon sump. I can make it myself, no problem, and i like how all the heaters, and UV sterilizers can be in the sump, and not cluttering up the tank. what do you think? obviously what you have works, so I'm curious on what you think about a sump versus the FX6. I'm also curious about if you use C02. I'll definetley be using Co2 in my tank, but just wondering if you do. I wonder if i could put the co2 in the sump as well?
I'm trying to decide between discus and malawi cichlids. I love the color of the discus, but i also really like how other cichlids are more vivacious and seem to have more attitude. Can anyone sway me to one side?
how long does it take for them to get that big? and also what do you feed them? and what is your feeding schedule like? yours seem peaceful where mine are always chasing each other. i have a 55G with 4 discus, 8 tiger barbs, 2 angels, 1 betta, 1 leaf fish, 1 molly, 2 shrimps, 4 snails.
sir could you tell me the lights used in the above video, I mean how many T5, wattage, color, combination of different lights if any & the Kelvin of the lights & brand of T5, looking forward to your reply which will be greatly appreciated, many many thanks
18 discus plus all the other species and one dead fish(see at 7:41),whew-much too much. There is something to be said about -"sometimes LESS IS MORE and Aesthetically PLEASING !
Do the Discus attack the neons ? I'm getting a 55 gallon and was thinking of a single discus as a bigger fish in the community tank...not sure if it's a good idea
very nice..i bez hudby naadhera..55'4kperfect...
im sick of hearing people complain about what other people chose to do with their tanks. you do what you want, and let others do what they want!
it is ok to overstock, judging by the size and shape of the fish, you did a brilliant job with your water :)
Those are all such healthy discus too. You've got to be keeping that tank pristine to have so many in such great shape.

It IS very heavily stocked, but the fish look fine and the water is crystal clear. I think its a great set-up. Too each thier own.
Beautiful collection of Discus fish. 5 stars!
Moc krásné 😊👍🐠🐠🐠
One of the best i've seen. Thank God, someone didn't put angelfish with discus.
Angelfish with Discus can be done, just make sure there are more Discus in the tank then Angels. 3 Discus to 1 Angel to be safe. More Angels will dominate the Discus and out compete them for food.

Hi my friend, your aquarium is very beautiful, is it still mounted? What measures?

What filter do you use? This water is crystalline!
Hi there. Really like your tank. Where did you find your red discus? Thanks!
Yes it is Echinodorus cordifolius, it is a very good plant to keep with discus.
sir could you tell me the lights used in the above video, I mean how many T5, wattage, color, combination of different lights if any & the Kelvin of the lights & brand of T5, looking forward to your reply which will be greatly appreciated, many many thanks

hi may i know what type of filter you have?i love discus water too so clean
1 Eheim 2228 and 1 JBL crystalprofi 1500e
Bonito aquario parabens, quais as medidas?
How is it possible you keep discs with substrate ? What do you use to have no bacteria attacks?
Gravel vacuuming with water changes prevents that from happening.
Lovely discus, but the tank is no where tall enough for them.
I heard that they said ram cichlids are pretty hard to keep (they say that they fight with each other all the time and breed a lot). Is that true?
yes it is... you must have more females in the tank
Oo it is fashinating
Which are those plants with big leaves ?
super leci subik i łapka:)

Tus acuario es de envidiar... Es muy dificil para un aficionado mantener uno así?

A.. Y otra cosa, que clase es el disco de color rojo? Es bellisimo
Los rojos son de la variedad "marlboro" .
