🤣🤣🤣 The level of discomfort, being called out for real. Nothing gets by to put Robert Chieng in place in a not bad way. Its very humerous to see him a bit embaressed. His nervous laughter says it all. I like to watch the behind the scenes and personality close up. The stories 🤭. Love the show 🥰❤️💯
Okay that "chasing self-expression" comment at @10:30 is actually such a revelation for me! As I'm making videos on my channel, I can see myself falling for the "success" trap, while self-expression should be the goal.
I am watching a new youtuber, uhm, come into existence just these days. He is just guy sitting in his room and having a chat with his camera, but suddenly after December the 3rd he like, 30-doubled his number of subscribers. (from "granny and my nephew" to 3000 people from around the world) Because he talked about the attempt at coup d'état in his country, South Korea. And now, two weeks later, he is already talking about whether he should change what he sends out so that it lives up to all that attention. The fact he is talking to the camera about these considerations say a lot about where he is now. I hope he'll be alright and remember who he is. And the same for you!
@3:29 "The second one was 2-stars. This one 5-stars." I know he's joking but there is some truth to that. His second special Speakeasy was too angry and not enough humour to balance the aggression. Maybe not 2 stars but perhaps 3? I just watched Love to Hate It last night and it's much much better. Definitely 5 stars.
Ever since they departure of Trevor Noah I felt like there was a narrative to be performed by way of these hungry comediens and Trevor Noah decided not to sell out for it. So, screw all these daily show hosts and lackeys
Just when you think you can’t like Ronnie Chieng more… what an interesting background story. Great interview

Love the show 🥰❤️💯
I love how Philip always makes creative tasty drinks.
What a feel good interview. Thanks Ronnie and Phil!

The way he said char koay teow is how you know he’s Malaysian.
He’s also in Interior Chinatown on Hulu with Jimmy O Yang! Such a good show
Why do these two men look so attractive ?
Couldn't hold it anymore when Philip blurted out “白日依山尽,黄河入海流” “床前明月光,疑是地上霜” LOLLLLLLL

You did a great job Phil!! Love you Ronny!!
Ronny has the psychopathic laugh of a very intelligent lawyer ..
Ronny Chieng is so real.
Ayyy the two GOATs meet! Ronny is hilariously real 😂
The comment about brewing the tea in the bathtub @25:08 and both of your reactions were so funny! 😂 Cheers 🤭
Automatically spewing out poems shows shared trauma experience. Lol.... *cries*!
wait phil's impression of ronny is actually quite good
21:35 Ohhh that’s what my 7 yr old has been reciting when she comes back from school!! 😂
as a Chinese it's such fun to see those two 活宝 together again
AAAAAAAA Ronny is just awesome! Love his energy haha
Lol "so is the daily show" 🔥
Great interview. Love from Australia 🥰👏👏👏
很好的华语! 钱信伊!👍 马来西亚以你为傲!🇲🇾
1K likes!!! Phil and Ronny 😂🎉❤
Takeaways: Ronny brings up ways others can pay him any chance he got. And he's worried about getting diarrhea.
Love it
an elusive Natalie Tran appears in the comments!!! 👀
Four days!! You promised!!
that was so fun. so glad you got to have him as a guest!
現在是飲料裡加的料都叫做boba嗎😂第一次聽說
Hi from Hawaii 👋
That was a fun interview! But how come makegolli is inspired by Australia 🤔
I was interested in this too. Phil kept saying something about his wife? But his wife is Vietnamese (based on the last name Pham).
Because Phil says Ronny complains about Australia being "old and white" and makgeolli is old (fermented) and white
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Is that David from M3GAN the c.e.o of funki?
Great to see Ronny here but I wish we could’ve heard him speak more and expand on his stories. There was a bit of wasted opportunity …

I hate Bopomofo Cafe. Its overrated and I hate all the ABCs that go to this place.
Phillip sucks but Ronnie is cool
