    What I get from this is that climbers tend to extend their reach in detriment of our shoulder stability. So, we should work out shoulder stability with reach to prevent injuries.

    Great video John - Epic Tv keep these video with John coming they are incredibly useful- question: John could you suggest exercises to strengthen and increase (the video is only about testing) ? Thank a lot

    I would find it more useful if it was done with the athlete facing the ceiling, in the same position, almost flat but grabbing a bar with the heels on the floor. The majority of the climbers will reach way farther on that position.

    Seems a bit abstract without data to look at. Perhaps if you could get a large pool of data, like they have at lattice, we could see the correlation with grade climbed and these numbers. Might be a better argument for grades than simply "tall is easier".

      You could even say you're twice as good! Shame that 2 x 0 = 0.
