Hawaii will find a way through greed to make this system unaffordable.
Um um um wat u talking bout🌈🐸
We should be encouraging and even publicly funding anything that might help us build affordable housing quickly.
How is lowering building cost lower housing cost? The buyer set the price not the builder. It's just making the builder richer.
May want to look into Using hempcrete blocks rather than wood and foam from fossil fuels for its durability, termite, water, fire resistant qualities
Thanks to those that are bringing this to Hawaii, great job!
Does anyone know why we cant but solar panels, and chargers from amazon to Hawai’i? New Zealand, Guam and Samoa can order them but not Hawai’i?
No such thing as affordable housing in Hawaii. Now that's laughable.
Made with what was that? This sounds good just pray this won't be the "new asbestos" in the future...
As long as you're not allergic to the dimethyl diphenyl die isocyanide God bless you and your children
Foam would melt within seconds acid touches it. Let alone fires!
They are plywood/OSB junks with inner foams. Build with concrete CMU blocks or ICF instead...
Houses should be healthy, safe, natural, & humane.
This shows how far back Hawaii is. These SIPS panels have been around for a long time and only now they’re on the radar🤣
decades? SIPS have been around for almost 100 years when it was first conceived. Also, SIPS has a higher wind resistance than stick frame. Up to 120+ MPH
Really need to look at Hemp Bricks!!! Hawaii can grow an industry from farms to product. Foam is 🥺
So can termites eat the OSB outer layers or are those treated?
yes
now were thinking like smart humans. i need this in my life
All that foam will end up in our ocean and burned into toxic gas as well in to our air.
Beautiful
Will it still be affordable when the supply and demand goes up? I don’t think so.
Land is too expensive.
any contracters like do my 900 sqft additions with this lmk. hit me with a estimate. 🤓
This needs to get pushed to the forefront. Incredible at bare minimum world changing discovery.
NOW ONLY IF THE LABOR WAS CHEAP.
They not even done with the house lol
I eat okie everyday
Let's build for the locals not build and sell to all the mainlanders that want a piece of paradise.
Rats love to tunnel in foam
make it smell good too
Dude, that was a cringe worthy moment when he said “archi-pelago.” It should be pronounced - ar·chi·pel·a·go
/ˌärkəˈpeləˌɡō/. There is no hard Ch sound, but rather a K.
