$15,200 for D9 undercarriage sounds like a real deal. Sometimes I hear the main reason crawler tractors are scrapped is due to undercarriage but with the price of new tractors and the problems with keeping them running it would definitely be worth rework of the undercarriage.
My company has had a machine that appears to be almost identical to that one in every way, except the cab for over 30 years. It has Pettybone written all over it. We have never been allowed to raise the outriggers and drive it with a load in the air.
Jeff looked like he was in the hood with those pants dropping halfway down his butt trying to get that Ingersol to break those bolts loose! Thanks for all the videos.
Great video Jeff keep working at with the Ingersoll Electric impact to find out what it can do or not. That delivery drive was a big help for sure. Nice looking parts for the D9 undercarriage thanks for sharing stay safe Jeff.
Jeff a simple BIY adjustable sabalizer bar with chain hooks welded to the end would be nice touch to keep loads from swinging around.😎👍👍I guess Ingersoll don't realize TIME is money specially for the money their asking for this battery powered impact. The time it takes to break a bolt/nut loose and the recharge times.🤨🤨😞😞
I hate it also when people don't put antiseize on stuff. Only takes a extra second but saves so much time the next time taking it apart. Also learning about useless battery impacts expensive and always buying more batteries. Gone back to air tools, you would need a shopping cart full of batteries to change a scraper cutting edge.💩😂 Pat from northwest WI
Watching as you hammer/rattle away at those bolts. Did Ingersoll include a disclaimer about wearing a self winding watch while trying to do as you are? 🤔
I don’t know what is different between Aerostart and Start You Bastard but I did a bit of a comparison trying to start an AWD6 yesterday. The old AD264 motor has glow plugs but they weren’t working and I think it is pretty tired. You could put as much Start You Bastard as you liked in it and it wouldn’t fire. A little sniff of Aerostart and instant action. Typically, I had hardly any Aerostart and a new tin of SYB. She was extremely angry at being disturbed from her very long slumber.
That engine looks like the old 560 diesel engine nice you can find parts for your dozer that not cost to much hope to see some interesting videos again this year
Here goes nothing,, The reason I asked in the last vid if you got the water out of the oil, is because I think the thing you need is a Frantz filter on that thing just before the suction screen. I know, some people laugh at the idea and some folks swear by them, but they do a great job of filtering out moisture. I watched a demo by Frantz back in the 70's where the rep dumped in a half of a can of Lamp Black, then added a cup of coffee loaded with extra cream and sugar. Within 5 minutes the oil was right back to its original new condition,, it was quite impressive! You really need to get the moisture out of that crane sooner rather than later
The boiling point of water varies with pressure. You should be able to reduce the pressure in the hydraulic tank with a vacuum pump and at the same time heat the oil and there by turn the water to water vapor and remove it through the vacuum pump.
Damn, Matt bought that whole 9er for 14gs, and got 2 million views to boot, basically free and then some. And thats just to mess around with. Torque Test Channel reviewed that IR, It was the hardest hitting cordless by a decent margin for whatever thats worth. Just a shame all these tool companies are allowed to make up whatever numbers they want. Would be awsome if we had national standards for that sort of thing, get rid of all the BS.
Could get one of those 150lb magnet and tie it to that in the tank. Be positioned where u want it to lay. Or 50 lb which ever size you want. Just an idea. Scratch the idea if it's a bad idea 😀
Check out the line of Cat power tools they come with graphene battery's they charge in 20 minutes hold a charge longer and produce more power and they match all of your equipment.
33:46. Are these rebuilt units and do you end up being charged a core charge until you turn in the ones that you are about to switch out? How does this work with very large and heavy parts such as this example? Hello from San Antonio, TEXAS!
Ingersoll junk I would get service truck set up on air or more air. PS between you and Warren on utube I stick to my air guns they rebuild them in Ohio.
Refurbishing these crawler parts is interesting content Jeff. Wrestling with that weak Ingersoll hedge trimmer motor trying to accomplish anything would make for a long day. Best Wishes to everyone at Anderson Construction.
If the impact wrenches get any bigger you are going to have to swing them from the crane on the service truck. Great video. Keep it up.
That truck driver was awesome. Real good attitude!
I think a longer extension will help you go deaf quicker with that battery powered noise maker 🤣
I love it. “WITHOUT SOME START YOU BASTARD”. 😂. Another great video. Keep them coming. Take care and stay safe.

That impact just about rattled your pants off 😂
Much like myself Jeffrey you're gonna have to start using suspenders or switch to Yoga pants :)
Loved the truck unloading music. Very appropriate.
Good job, Jeff!! It’s a good thing they had more pallets!!
A real helpful driver there bro. Great video by the way too. Safe travels. Ken.

They have cut the amount of ether, read the can for the percentage of start ya bastard LOL
I think I see Jeff's new project .... a BIG HONKIN' forklift.
Just saw "" cat food "" on fuel truck , love it.

You know Jeff, when you retire you could start a business restoring old Cat dozers. You are already an expert. LOL
Hi My Dear Friend Very Good Job ❤❤❤❤❤

You could have come borrowed the Hyster it would have picked that easy. 😊
It is an option to block the bottom of the mast, you can lift more just cant move, then have the truck pull away.
That driver was a cool guy.
That FedEx drivers bout to bust out of his pants,,

With the difference in blade's weight for the big Cat will you have to use larger lift cylinders to control the blade?
Jeff Wins Again Great Vid 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
New intro I like it

good work jeff have great saturday
Does that crane have an exhaust leak or a valve issue? Might be your no. 2 issue 🤔
Jeff re tje Gallion see if you can put some mesh in the hole to the lower level and stop the sock falling through to the suction line...
Should have bought the parts from here...us Ohioians have nothing but the best!!
what parts? rollers? I did but they wanted 6k more
@@Jpaydirt we're worth it here🥰
Clint at C&C uses Truck or Track. Seems very satisfied.
You should try the Milwaukee 1inch battery impact
Thanks for sharing.
Has Ingersoll reached out to you at all, Jeff?
Have you seen his short? They blamed him for being below the impact for the impacts failure.

Jeff doesn't shake hands with danger Jeff wins
Rules are made to be broken

Jeff its time to get one of those gas powered impacts the railroad uses.
Our hyd impacts are really where its at. The gas ones arent bad but im not sure they put out any more torque then his earthquake does.
There is the answer, it needs Jeff power help to get the bolts out. Guess you have just over 1400 ft/lb in your hand.
Let’s see a ride on the TW200 Yamaha!!

You must be good at listening to that little voice that says. uhah.. nope, not a good idea... Wish I could give you a hand.
The struggles of unwieldy freight. the life of an LTL driver...
👍
Jeff, who is the company you bought the D9 undercarriage parts from. I need to replace the undercarriage on my 977L 14X.
He says it in the video
You make me miss my 9H and 8K :(
What the hell are they doing to taters anymore if you don’t use them within a couple days they are garbage
That’s because they’re last year’s
Buy organic they cost more but last forever GMO
Atleast u found some bolts it would loosen lol Wasnt very impressed though. Actually kind of sad
