I've had the Flip a few days now. It fits in my tiny lady pockets and has all the power and functionality I need while also being a statement piece. Love it!
I just love the flip 3. Iv moved from iPhone 12 mini and a long iPhone history but I'm totally converted. Just love everything about this phone. Embrass the crease
I have both the zflip3 and 13mini~I use the Z-Flip3 as my personal phone, and 13mini as my work phone
The Flip reminds me so much of the Razr 3. The wallpaper on the outside screen. Notifications on it too. Plus the shutting it is so satisfying.
Their is no Razr 3 so who knows what the f your talking about... flip 3 does not look anything like the razr 5G.......

If you want the same thing over and over, get the iPhone. Hasn't changed much in 4 years and iOS has looked the same since 2013. If you want something fun, get the Flip.

I have both phones and both are great. I have the iPhone 12 mini which works in conjunction with my iPad Pro.
My galaxy flip Z3 works very well with my galaxy watch 4 classic and I got the two phones and galaxy watch 4 classic for under £1000. Best of both worlds and no more upgrading for another 4/5 years. 😃😃
By far the best video content I've seen. I use my iphone 12 pro daily, but I miss my android for music and video, and games, and you sir hit the best topic. My Z flip 3 is out of the way till I need it. Love my Z flip 3 as my second phone . Would have been my primary but that battery life isn't there yet
Thanks for this video. Deciding between Z Flip and 13 mini. Waterproofing is a big plus on the 3 Vs my Z Fold 2 but with an active 2 year old I struggle to recommend foldable phones as a primary device Vs a mini with a case and screen protector as I still question the durability of dropped when open.
This is the video that I needed 🙌🏾, I want to use my phone less but don't want to compromise on some apps (as Maps WhatsApp and Spotify). That's why I found those devices in the right spot between dumb phones and regular smartphones. Really interesting take on smartphone review and visually top notch as always 👌. Good job man!
I just have one question, If you had to pick a device, would you rather wait for the 13 mini or take the flip 3? (or maybe the 12 mini 🙃)
the reason i want a small phone is definitely NOT because it's distracting. It's important to me to be able to operate my phone with one hand (actually be able to reach the other side of the screen). ALSO Women' jeans have the smallesttttt pockets!!
Samsung’s narrow build plus it runs ONE UI which is designed to be one hand friendly
Having it fit in my front pocket and not having to worry about it falling out of my back has been AMAZING. I didn't realize how much annoyance my phablet gave me until I got this.

THe Z Flip3 is the only folding phone I've ever been tempted by. Looks so great, but I think I'm done with Android for a bit.

Coming from some iphone users in UA-cam and complains over process photos, when you have all kinds of tools to edit and post your photo. Regardless know in days people adds filters to the pictures. Nice quality video
Yeah, most cameras can take a great photo especially if you edit them.
Ran across this video while watching on my Z flip 3, you the man for exporting this in the format that fits the full screen with out losing video real estate 👍🏿
Great review. Only comment. You could have opened the Samsung phone (unfolded) and placed it side by side with the iPhone mini.
This is a good point apart from hands free use for video call and the fact it’s cool to fold. I got it to cut down on using my phone as much and quit mobile gaming.

@@lemonade2979 surprisingly not to bad I haven't been gaming, so 6-7 hours of screen on time.
Battery settings run down says last charge 13:30 hours ago (I charged last night before bed) with estimated 9 hours left I'm on 60% it's 12 noon here. I usually prefer charging in the morning tho just so I know it will last until the night but I'm home today so doesn't really matter

I love my galaxy z flip 3 it's the best phone I've had it for 1 year now and still looks brand new the hinge is still strong and stiff awesome phn
I sold my 12 mini and watch se few days ago and bought used flip 3 for the same money I got from selling apples. First thing I noticed is that my eyes don't tear when I'm outside looking at phone's screen. Also it is small, but bulky (over two times more than apple). Battery feels shit but I have my phone on wireless charger when I'm home so it only wears noticibly at work.

After owning the flip 3 for a month and my wife with the iPhone 12 mini. The flip 3 definitely doesn't have a good battery. My wife's phone lasts longer. I just feel like things aren't really optimized for the flip 3 just yet. Hopefully it happens and battery improves. I have to charge it like 2 to 3 times a day
I got the 12 mini over the flip 3. I don’t regret it, something about being able to take out your phone with one hand is awesome lol

Plz do tell me about how bad is the battery drain on the Z Flip 3 as I have heard from many reviewers that SOT of Z Flip 3 was just 3-4 hours of moderate to heavy use.
I’m interested in Flip 3 but only thing stopping me is the smaller battery.

It’s going to be worse than the 12 for sure. It’s kind of hard to quantify. I’ll say this. I was thinking about the battery a lot. It never felt like something I could forget about.

I'm really bored with glass slabs now, specifically iPhones (buying them every yr since 2011 iPhone 4s).
So I wanted to try the folding phones which looked really good this yr (didn't even waited for the iPhone 13 event). Hopefully it's a good experience, fingers crossed!

@@lemonade2979 I’m getting 4 hours SOT, I have to charge it again in middle of the day for sure, so battery is not the best here as expected. But it’s such a fun device to use and starts conversations wherever I go. And oh, girls just love it.
I’m keeping it for sure, I’m always near a charger or power bank, so no issues plugging it in. I hope it helps

12:12 - That is news to me, doesn't this like all iphones have useless stereo speakers on the bottom on either side of the proprietary charging port? It only works in portrait and you barely notice it is stereo. The Z Flip 3 like all Samsung phones since several years ago have far more useful stereo speakers by using the bottom one next to the universal standard USB-C charging port + the earpiece speaker to be truly useful stereo speakers that are great for landscape videos/gaming. The Z Flip 3 like most android phones from the last 4 years also has wireless power sharing that iphones still don't have (you can place another wireless capable phone onto the back of this phone to charge it up on the go) 12:15 - You called them *"extremely similar"* (then proceed to show how they are VERY different right afterwards! lol
The iPhone has had stereo speakers using the earpiece since the iPhone 7…

Had android and iPhone. Software for Apple is just smoother and superior. Not to mention gets better updates and more secure

Here’s the thing I’m not saying it’s not a good phone but you’re talking $800 for the Z flip versus $479 for the iPhone 12 mini both 128 GB that’s a huge difference
The 12 Mini is $749 for 128GB. Still cheaper than the Flip, but not a huge difference.

Samsung also has high trade in discount values and a free bee. Usually. Im a first timer to trade because the first time its remotely worth it . Sure some will pay full price especially but lots of ways to get discounts too.
That iPhone mini will last four years with no difficulty, no way that Samsung galaxy Z flip will do that.
True but iPhone has basically been the same for awhile now. And iOS7 really hasn't changed since 2013. I had the 12 mini. Sold it. Prefer my Flip 3 more. I hate Face ID.
