It got to the point where I couldn't use the screen around the folder properly anymore, and it was just too annoying to look at when using my phone. right?? A common complaint I get about this phone is that it breaks easily. Some people have commented and said they're on their 2nd or 3rd replacement phone. Like how are you treating this phone??
I don't notice the crease at all. I live my phone. Had always used a flip phone for years from the early 90's through 2013. Lol lol 😆 but this one I love and it will fit into any small purse I have vs ones that do not fold. Can't wait til the flip 4 comes out. I will be buying that one as well!!
I had previously the flip 2 (Flip 5G) with the smaller cover screen and things and it last me about 3 years until catastrophically failed, the screen went black and that was it, but u know? I never take a good care of it and I dropped it opend, closed and stuff like a regular phone, most of the time directly on the hinge and last me for almost 3 years, used daily like a normal phone, it was dropped at least 2 times in water, spilled beer and energy drink on it (by mistake) and then washed in water to not get sticky and I am literally surprised by that, except some scratches on the hinge basically nothing outside, intact glass, completely functional except the screen that faild cuz' at the last drop the hinge was finally a bit damaged, and 3 or 4 months later the "glass" on the screen started cracking and about 2 weeks ago it started going black in the middle and then went completely black. I am impressed, I am that impressed so I got the flip 3. And this time I will take care of it:)) I got the flip 2 out of curiosity (To see how strong is it wearing it like a normal phone, with no special care, and because I liked the ideea) And got the flip 3 cuz' I was impressed and now I love it:))
This review was insanely good! Thank you for sharing your experience 😁 I’m thinking of upgrading to this phone from my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Battery on my current phone doesn’t last as long as it used to and would like to try something different. Would this be more of an upgrade or downgrade?
If you're looking for something different, this is definitely the way to go. It's probably one of my favorite phones I've owned. If you've been using iPhone for awhile it will take some getting used to no doubt so keep that in mind if you do decide to get this. I would give yourself time to adjust to android in general before jumping to any conclusions on it. I would also watch do's and don't video related to the Z Flip 3 because a lot of what I see ppl complain about this phone is the hinge or the crease breaking in some way. I've had it almost a year now and ZERO problem with the folding so I suspect a lot ppl are just being way too rough with the phone. It's not your regular smartphone. As for upgrade or downgrade, that would be totally up to you. I consider it an upgrade because I've never had a folding smartphone before so it's new and fresh. The camera is good, the folding has some practicality to it, no major problems with the software or folding yet etc. I would recommend watching my Before You Buy video I made about the Z Flip 3 also. I go a little deeper in terms of what I like and dislike. I appreciate your comment!
How does the hinge hold up after 2000 flips? surely, you passed that in 6 months. I'm thinking about getting a renewed one for about 530$ but this stat is concerning and am debating getting the flip 4
Not 2000 but 200k flips, so don't worry, if you are concerned about the battery and camera, maybe you should wait for the Flip 4, I heard that there might be some improvements.
Hi great review, Im an elder man and like the bigger screen but seem to be dropping the phone more now and dont really use the phone that much, so this would be better for me so will get a used Flip 3 to see if it suits me. 👍
Ahhhhh! I had no idea there was no aux port! I still use my auxiliary port and wires all the time. You should do a review on your nice leather case you have on there. Are you going to put a pop socket on the phone? Does pop socket work with the zflip? Thanks!
Same here! I still use it all the time. It's a basic faux lather case haha. But yes I currently have a removable pop socket on it now. I'll be making a short on it soon!
My wife wants to watch Disney + which she has on her Z flip 3 phone on my 82" Q8F Samsung TV. How do I connect them? Is there a cable to connect to HDMI jack on the TV? Or how do I do it with WiFi or Bluetooth? Any help appreciated.
If you have a Chromcast you should be able to cast Disney+ to your TV. I'm not familiar with tvs but some come with chromcast installed. Otherwise you'll have to buy a chromcast and plug it into your TV.
Sold..Will wait for cost to drop or go contract. Love the case. I need portable phone that does what mine does and wireless charge. Debating the fold or flip. I read alot
So hey I have a question. I bought this phone yesterday over my iPhone 12 and I am enjoying it like hell. I am just concerned how should I protect it? I really do not want to add a cover on the phone bcz it would ruin the experience. Can you suggest something? Like should I add a tempered glass, or a skin or anything? Thanks
loved the way you ignored crease issue by best pros of phone that is it is foldable!!!! oops flipable ;) do make on flip 4 please and if possible these two flips.
Stupid question, can you watch tiktok/full screen videos? Also does the camera zoom in? I'm thinking about getting this phone but can't find the right review for me.
Love your review!! Regarding the video, does it lag in some cases? Thats one problem of android phones for me. Like Ive seen famous people with android phones that post IG stories and some of their videos are lagging; not sure if its the connection.
I think every phone lags at some point lol but in the case of IG stories lagging for android users I've read that it's bcos the instagram app isn't optimized for android phones. It works great on iphone because there's only one IOS but for android there's samsung, google, oneplus, motorola with each one being different so instagram has to cater to each one. Needless to say, if you're planning on getting one, the flip 3 is great and from what I've seen from the flip 4, that one looks like it's gonna be great too. Thanks for your comment!
@@freeleymedia it's a diff kind of pag tho, I cant explain it. Haha but Ive heard about ios having better soc med. And u explained it better. Thank you!! Do you think Z Flip 4 is on par or better than the latest iPhone? Except for the camera.
hey, freeley. i want to ask about the pre applied screen protector. does it good? does that really protect the screen? because on my samsung z flip 4 i still had my screen protector but day by day there kinda a little scratch seen, or that is just normal? been using my flip 4 for 2 week
Yes, as Amber Smith mentioned you can slide down on the front screen to get to the volume widget and also control the front screen brightness. The volume widget only allows you to adjust it to either vibrate or silence
Can this phone actually run 2 apps at once with split screen (for eg an auto battle game, while you're maybe scrolling through stuff in facebook on the other screen)? Cause the old split screen (without the fold) would freeze one app if you press on another app.
Goodness.. People still use 3.5mm jack for mobile audio? LOL. Just go get Fiio BTR5 man.. It gives u outmost fidelity and studio grade audio while being bluetooth
You're pretty much buying the flip/fold for the novelty of it. But if you care for cameras and willing to spend money, I'd recommend go with the s22ultra.
It might offer a few thousand folds but I promise you it will not survive the first drop. I've been watching all these videos and some only had them a few days before dropping and breaking hinge. My son had his 2 weeks and now I'm looking to get it repaired or file a claim. If you are a phone dropper DO NOT GET THIS PHONE.
DONT BUY THE FLIP/FOLD phones from Samsung. They will do all they can to reject a warranty repair. I waited for the 2nd generation of the Z Flip 3 phone after seeing how poorly the 1st generation flip phone performed. As soon as the zip flipped 3 arrived I purchased one only to find out 4 months down the line the screen started lifting from the fold, 5 months down-the-line I noticed what appeared to be hairline cracks on either edge of the hinge. I initially thought was a fault with the screen protector therefore I carefully remove the screen protector with the aim of getting it replaced by ee or at a samsung store only to find that the actual screen had the hairline fractures at the corner of each hinge along the fold! Month 6 and I can now see little cracks all along the fold! Due to this major fault with the screen happening only 5 months into my purchase I decided to have the phone sent back to EE for a warranty repair. I keep all my Tech Gear in top condition and look after everything I own with a high degree of care. The phone I sent to EE was in immaculate condition with not a dent or mark on the device. A few days later I received the paperwork advising that my phone was user damaged and that there will be a charge of 360 pounds to replace the screen! I argued the case with EE and took it as high as I could but they advised that the phone is not covered under warranty because it is user damaged? I asked on what grounds was the phone rejected and deemed user damaged when it is in immaculate condition bar the the screen cracking at the fold? They would not respond stating that their technicians make this diagnosis which EE have no control over. Ee offered £50 which I rejected, and i asked to take this further. I was advised that I will need to reach out to the Ombudsman and also Samsung directly. I called Samsung Who advised that I would need to take my phone in to Samsung repair centre at Newcastle-upon-Tyne where they will inspect and have this repaired on the day. After calling the Samsung centre at this location and informing them of what has happened so far the agent advised me to bring the phone in, which was a good 1 and a 1/2 hour journey. After I got on site they looked at the phone assessed it and advised the phone is in great condition but because the screen protector has been removed the warranty is void and that there will be a charge of 270 pounds to repair the phone. At this stage I was fuming due to poor advice from the Samsung centre wasting my time travelling in with a child to turn down the repair. I asked why they didn't ask if the protector was removed over the phone, to which the assessor just smiled! At this stage was quite angry and advised that this is an unacceptable level of service and very unprofessional, but got no response from the woman and was only given a number to call Samsung directly. I called Samsung a technician took the case reference number and also half an hour of my time to listen to the problems I have faced to date only to advise me again that there's nothing they can do as the warranty was voided due to the screen protector being removed. Again I argued the case that the screen is fatally flawed, and that I actually use the phone at most 10 times a-day which is a far cry from the claims of the phone enduring a 100 flips A-day! They were straight down the line with voided warranty and wished me a wonderful day! My home is reliant totally on the Samsung ecosystem with the exception of this device which has been a major letdown. I have always purchased high end Samsung technology looking at forums I can see that it's not just an isolated case, these phone screens are failing for many people. I can imagine a recall for the flawed device being very costly for Samsung therefore the excuse of the screen protector being removed voiding the warranty is a successful cop out! Buy this phone at ur own risk, I have wasted too much of my time and energy in trying to getting this phone rightfully repaired at no cost to me and failing. I will be reaching out to the Ombudsman who will independently assess the issue.... let's see if this works?
Did you ever get the phone fixed i very want the flip 3 it’s a beautiful phone but I keep hearing stories like yours some people have no issues yet with the flip 3. But due to the bad warranty I heard about I’m keeping my Oneplus 9 As my everyday phone 10 months in and has no issues and is still strong and reliable. If I get a flip 3 I’d use it as my backup phone or a weekend phone just not use it as my daily phone cause I can’t risk a phone like this breaking down on me when I need it most especially in todays world you got to have a functioning phone in working shape

And this time I will take care of it:))
I got the flip 2 out of curiosity
(To see how strong is it wearing it like a normal phone, with no special care, and because I liked the ideea)
And got the flip 3 cuz' I was impressed and now I love it:))
@@freeleymedia thank you so much for taking time to reply 😁 really appreciate it. I. Will definitely keep that in mind and check out the other video.
Still going strong 6+ months in. Hopefully the zflip 4 has am improved battery and camera
@@alexquinn877 20,k flips shit phone don't bother screen breaks
Hi great review, Im an elder man and like the bigger screen but seem to be dropping the phone more now and dont really use the phone that much, so this would be better for me so will get a used Flip 3 to see if it suits me. 👍
You are good, you will make it.
i appreciate the support
Great review🙂
Glad you liked it
Is it working well? 🤔 Now?
Still going strong. The only problem I'm having is with the battery :(
@@freeleymedia how much is the backup after good extensive usage? 🤔 Please tell
Sick review man. I'm assuming it can be wirelessly charged but I'm wondering if you can confirm that
yes sir you can wirelessly charge!
@@freeleymedia Thanks homie
There's no 3.5 jack sadly but you can simply get the USB-C to headphone adapter. It's very cheap and does the job :)
I honestly fell in love
sameeee
I really like this review💕👍🏻
I appreciate it!
Thanks
Yes, definitely get a screen protector. That'll help the most.
@@freeleymedia but the phone comes with a pre-installed screen protector right?
yes, but it's somewhat lackluster and I've already scratched it up
ahhh thanks for this good review! i enjoyed watching this informative video!
Just bought one bnib off eBay. Looking forward to playing with it.
loved the way you ignored crease issue by best pros of phone that is it is foldable!!!! oops flipable ;) do make on flip 4 please and if possible these two flips.
Stupid question, can you watch tiktok/full screen videos? Also does the camera zoom in? I'm thinking about getting this phone but can't find the right review for me.
Yes you can watch full screen videos and what do you mean by camera zoom in?
If youbare playing a UA-cam video and close the phone does it lock the phone and the video stops or does it keep playing?
You need premium for videos to stay on when you lock your phone, no matter what phone you have.

Is it still good to buy this new at 45k in offer or anything else?
hey, freeley. i want to ask about the pre applied screen protector. does it good? does that really protect the screen? because on my samsung z flip 4 i still had my screen protector but day by day there kinda a little scratch seen, or that is just normal? been using my flip 4 for 2 week
I recommend getting an additional one. The one pre-installed is good but scratches easier than other screen protectors
It basically have 3 screennn😭😭😭💜💜💜 i want
Do it!
Love it❤
Bro,why my m50 camera become blur itself when I on camera... please help
Do you have Instagram? Send me a pic of what your experiencing there @freeley.explore
Sorry bro.,I don't use Instragram
Do you have email? You can send a pic to my email: freeleygive@gmail.com
Okay
Is the problem solved?
This is a great phone for me because it prevents me from being glued on my phone's screen for most of the time.
I currently am watching this on a s9 and im getting the z flip 3 soon
U can replace the screen protector .
What would you choose, z flip 3 8/128 for 700€ or Huawei P50 pocket 8/256 for 900€?
great vid !!
good luck to you and your channel :)
sub'd !
I appreciate it!!
@@freeleymedia my pleasure, hon hon hon !

p.s. will you make one for the flip4 ?
Can I know where u get ur leather casing? Its nice
I couldn't find the exact one but here's one thats very similar: amzn.to/3EvXc6N
Thanks ya
Informative- oh one question can you add the volume widget to front screen? Thanks.
You slide down on the front screen to get the volume widget.
Yes, as Amber Smith mentioned you can slide down on the front screen to get to the volume widget and also control the front screen brightness. The volume widget only allows you to adjust it to either vibrate or silence
Thank you
How to fix that if he detect for moisture detect
I would try to dry out the phone as much as possible
You seem to be such a nice guy
i remember when we used to watch folding watches like a braclet videos😂
My display sensor stopped working after Just few months of usage and it was not even covered under warranty… very bad CS experience
Can this phone actually run 2 apps at once with split screen (for eg an auto battle game, while you're maybe scrolling through stuff in facebook on the other screen)? Cause the old split screen (without the fold) would freeze one app if you press on another app.
U can use it. .i try it right now, opening an auto battle game n u tube with split screen 😁
They don't have head phone jack a couple of years before this one I don't like it too. They are forcing you to use blue tooth.
Can the Flip 3 take an SD card ( extra memory)
U can just buy an adapter for headphone jack so really is not a big of a deal
true, and I did. But I still find it annoying having to use it
Nice!
Thanks!
I posted a message on how to get YT to play in the background when the phone is closed, but my comment was removed twice and I was sent a warning.
The crease would bother me a lil 💀 kinda wanna buy the phone for the hell of it tho
I would totally go for the flip 4!
He's really cute, and has good info that's like a 2-for-1 deal LOL
Case link please
Probably dbrand skin
My phone case: amzn.to/3avrpb0
not dbrand but I have it linked here: amzn.to/3avrpb0 the dbrand skins are sick tho!
How do you clean the prints off the screen?
microfiber cloth is usually what I use
Hello, Does this phone have a sim card slot?
The best tips for z flip 3 = open the phone if not in the pocket .
why's that?
@@freeleymedia I think it's to reduce folding the phone more to make the crease less visible after months and years of use
mine just cracked on the fold after 1 day over warranty
Best Galaxy I have ever own. "LOVE IT" Samsung is the #1 in the world. And Thank You!
🙌🙌
Mannnnn, I gotta get one
Only thing I'm concerned is, battery and scratching the display
battery is a bummer even after almost 2 years for me. Scratching the display is not that big of a deal as long as you have a good screen protector
Goodness.. People still use 3.5mm jack for mobile audio? LOL. Just go get Fiio BTR5 man.. It gives u outmost fidelity and studio grade audio while being bluetooth
when i read the thumbnail i thought you broke it ngl.
i was afraid of... how good it would end up being
u r very good!!!
is it good for gaming? is it laggy or is it somehow bearable?
I've made a video on the GBA emulator for this and so far it runs pretty well!
You're pretty much buying the flip/fold for the novelty of it. But if you care for cameras and willing to spend money, I'd recommend go with the s22ultra.
Yeah pretty much. The s22 line's cameras are insanely good
It might offer a few thousand folds but I promise you it will not survive the first drop. I've been watching all these videos and some only had them a few days before dropping and breaking hinge. My son had his 2 weeks and now I'm looking to get it repaired or file a claim. If you are a phone dropper DO NOT GET THIS PHONE.
Don't like folding phones, never liked nokias. The future is headsets/glasses.
Omfgggg you were an S9 user as well that was my phone before getting the z flip 3 haha
yup! I rarely upgrade my phone. before the S9 was the S4
It is rated at 200,000 folds.
yes sirr
This doesn't look like an impartial review at all.
Thumb down for the thumb nail being "click baity." But thanks for the review.
Lol thanks!
Everything was absolutely fine until I saw... No headphone jack 😔
Yeah its unfortunate. You can remedy it by buying an adapter but that's a clunky solution
small battery + 15w charging speed = great combo samsung.
this phone has very short honeymoon period for most people, they'll get annoyed
i had sell mine after 2 months
why'd you end up selling and what did you get instead?
The battery sucks
200k folds should be guaranteed.
@Max TheCat I don't know mine fold 3 and gf flip 3 first day purchases. Going strong we did get the screen protector replaced by a samsung repair shop first protector replacement is free. And phone look new again. Never any issues with it but then we don't throw them on the ground or abusing the shit out of them not using a case at all. To bulky on everyphone. So yeah.
Terrible phone... I regret buying it... it hasn't been 9 months yet but it's already acting up: screen goes black when I open it fully and sometimes it just goes off! It hasn't fallen or suffered any damage to warrant such malfunction... thumbs down this time coz I really like samsung phones...
It will break, guaranteed. I wish someone would do a class action lawsuit against Samsung for their defective design.
am i the only one who noticed that the background music is the instrumental version of trivia love by bts 😭 ah my army heart💜
Wow, it's sad future when plugging in a charger or using 2 hands for your phone is an issue. Imagine what you would do if you couldn't afford a $1000 phone.
Worse phone I've ever had, it's with Samsung coz the fold on the screen cracked rigjt across
couple thousand folds :O thats nothing lol..
