After watching the 2003 and 2008 Hulk movies, I just kind of gave up on the idea of a good Hulk movie ever being released. That attitude bled over onto She Hulk, which maybe wasn't exactly fair, but turned out to be accurate.

Tatiana Maslany Cleary hasn't seen Deadpool & Wolverine if she thinks there aren't any female characters that are strong. Casandra Nova is an extremely good, well written, and strong female character of the movie. Another strong female character is Electra. The truth is everyone in the production is bought and paid for, and their words go along with it. I can't trust a famous actor's quote about another or a director because we're buying hate entertainment. We go on UA-cam or Reddit and express ourselves to any degree, showing our interest in movies we hate, feminists we hate, sexism we hate, etc. Then we wonder why we're watching all these bombs, but our buzz pays for movies more than our cash. We are in the last decade of Hollywood movies as we know them. By 2030, the average person will be able to make a Hollywood-quality movie at home on a PC. These kinds of gripes are funny but true. It's middle-aged men and young boys that fuel the movies and shows. If we have all these strong women emasculating us while we watch, we won’t be watching - and we love strong women, just not someone constantly telling us we are the worst for simply being male. Isn’t X-23 supposed to be a more powerful character than wolverine? She featured in the movie and helped wolverine with character development. The female presence on a film about 2 guys is solid as well they are the main actors and it’s their story? Imagine the backlash if Ryan Reynolds was complaining that she-hulk doesn’t have strong empowered male figures but that’s probably the reason it failed. Deadpool and wolverine as I suspected shows who the marvel fan base is which is majority guys. Now it’s good that marvel gets the female characters because I enjoyed black panther as shuri because it was a logical choice and fits with the story as well it’s not too woke compared to the other movies but yeah actors such as the one in she hulk shouldn’t be marvels focus. Moon knight is another example. Very developed and interesting character, good story, the multiple personalities reminds me of fight club but the twist of powers makes it stick out and cgi. It’s no wonder there might be a possibility of a renewal.

The issue with She-Hulk is that the director and the room of female writers never read the She-Hulk comic books. The real She Hulk of the comics is a very likeable character that got misrepresented by a roomful of female writers doing there own feminist thing bashing male costar actors (as if men were dummies in her series) and not being true to the character of the books.
Doubling down on one's mistakes doesn't make the mistakes go away.
Ms. Maslany isn't at fault for the god-awful scripts, but she is for defending that abortive She-Hulk.
Admit it was terrible, move on!
I find it really funny that she is talking about "strong female characters" when every clip of She-Hulk is her literally just bullying unarmed normal humans with her super strength and near invulnerability. (Granted you've chosen ones that make the show look dumb for your point here, but with only one season of a show you shouldn't be that spoiled for choice with material!) I think she takes STRONG female characters a bit too literally and has no idea why fans like any characters in any medium.
I have gone to just about every Marvel movie made, in the theatres, with first my 5 kids and now my 8 grandkids. Now my kids are in their 30s, and my grandkids are under 13. It is fun to still have something that my kids and I go and see without the grandkids, and can enjoy the humor and violence without cringing. Yeah, Disney is taking advantage, as they should, of the fact that the majority of the fans are 18 and older, and want to just be entertained. That's why the Netflix Marvel shows did so well. The thing all the R rated version netflix, logan, and deadpool have in common, they aren't trying to make a social statement. They just want to be kick ass.
Cuz ryan and deadpool knows how to break the fourth wall. The ending of she hulk breaking into the marvel base was just dumb. I would say it ended horribly. They shpuldve stuck with the abomination, hulk, and the other guy who stole hulks power battle it out. That wouldve been fun to watch.
