The small vents actually work really well, as soon as I opened them I could feel the cool air coming in. Wind noise is higher than I thought it would be
Just bought the matte black one with red lines on it. Didn’t know some things about it, but now I do. All the other scorpion helmets were too big in size XS, this one fitted with size S! Thanks for the review!
ive owned this helmet air vents are awesome city vent is on visor you just push the lock foward and it cracks the vent open it has nice integration for sena the only gripe i had was the strap would never stay tight
Sorry to hear about your trouble with the helmet's liner. Unfortunately, it is not possible to fit a Kwikwick 3 liner from another helmet model in the 510 Air. Thanks for the question! In addition to the liner, what are your thoughts on the helmet?
Champion Helmets , it’s unusually loud especially around the left hand side, must be the 2 levers vibrating at 70mph, pretty unbearable. There was a lot of noise coming from the chin guard also, I had my mrs sew some fabric over the net, stopped the noise coming from there completely. I like the visor and the pinlock that comes with it, works a treat. It’s ok for short rides but it’s pretty unbearable for long ones.
@@calinflamind3826 The 510 Air does offer a strong set of budget friendly features, but it is a shame about the noise. Especially, since, as a sport touring helmet this is what they are usually designed for. However, it's good to hear that you were able to find some fixes to improve the helmet. If you have any further questions, we're always happy to help
Both are great helmets in their range but the T510 is a little newer and has that Airfit system. So that pushes it slightly ahead for me though it is quite close between them. Are you a Scorpion fan?
@@Championhelmets i'm just a brand new rider working on getting his license and looking for a solid helmet. after a bunch of reserch i ended up getting LS2 FF397 Vector Solid Helmet for $160 on sale.
I'm looking to buy this helmet, my head size is 56cm but it has a more round shape, left to right measures the same as front to back. Would you still recommand this helmet for me? I was thinking of getting a size M. Thanks!
If you already have a round head shape then this helmet should be fine. The best advice is to try and check out the fitment of the helmet in any local helmet store. But if this isn't possible, then the next best thing is to have someone look at your head shape from above to double check. According to the Scorpion size chart, if you're 56 cm, then a size S will be best
Though we haven't had a chance to road test the EXO 510 Air, most of the feedback on the helmet has been that it is on the slightly louder end of the spectrum, though this may vary depending on your bike and riding style. Thanks for the question! What are your thoughts on the Scorpion helmet?
@@Championhelmets it looks good and seems to be built well. i just need a budjet-ish helmet for casual street riding. the agv k3sv would be another option. i've kinda had it with loud helmets tho
@Daniel That's fair enough. As far as the K3 SV, we have had a chance to take it out on our road test and found it performed at about 105 decibels, which was also, unfortunately, loud. But you can also check out how it performed in other categories like ventilation here: ua-cam.com/video/7VZzug0CJPM/v-deo.html Nonetheless, we have found quieter budget helmets on our road test, and you can find them collected here: ua-cam.com/video/dQcjBj8ib1g/v-deo.html
It can take a while for the cheek pads to break in, so it is possible they will adjust with a little more time. However, if it causing pain and you feel you need a different size, please contact us and we will be sure to take care of it.

They surprised me as well and you're right with the wind noise but it is an entry level helmet. How do you find the liner and the cheek pad system?
Wind noise is through the roof

Good to hear you found your Scorpion helmet, and it's our pleasure! We'd love to hear how you find it out on the road
the helmet does have a city position for the visor: you just have to turn the visorlock clockwise for opening it up a crack
Yes that is right! Thanks I forgot to mention that in this review. What do you think of the Exo as a helmet?
@@Championhelmets i haven't owend one yet but after tons of research and trying it in multiple stores i've decided that will be my next helmet :)

Thanks for sharing how you found the helmet! Though the strap issue sounds very annoying, how do you think it did in terms of comfort?
would you buy n86(120Eur), n87 plus (183EUR) or scoripon EXO 520 (180 EUR)? Please help me with chosing.
Great. Can we see Scorpion exo 520 smart ❓👍
Thanks for the suggestion, we'll make sure to add the helmet to our list!

Can the sun visor comes a bit more all the way down to cover my eyes from having 2 colours ?
It drops down rather low. How far down are you looking for?
Is Meduim okay with women size?
what is better? Scorpion EXO-R710 or the exo-t510?

Is this helmet tested for safety?
whats the point of being able to lock the visor?
It is meant to serve as an extra safety feature, though we wonder if it is really necessary. What did you think of the helmet?
when riding at high speeds, when ub turn your head to check blind spots, your visor can flip open due wind stream/turbulence
is this a loud helmet?
