Thank you. The cheekpads will become lose indeed after using couple times. So it is important to fit the correct size when you purchasing one. A new helmet will fit tight on the cheeks in the beginning. With the time it will be more comfortable.
Great review. I wish I discovered your channel earlier. This has got to be the best review I've seen so far! Which would your recommend. the exo1400 or the gt air 2?
Hello, very precise and enjoyable review, thanks ! Is there a big difference with the Evo NON-carbon, may be the weight or noise as well, as carbon is supposed to be a bit more noisy may be? Did you get a chance of trying the non carbon version ? thanks a lot
in this video its saya the rpha 71 is just 1 decile louder, i have the rpha 71 and it is really loud, so i dont think this helmet is much quieter then mine. i just want a quiet helmet, please leave comments if you have owned both helmets ans can compare
Good review. I'd just clarify the earlier Exo 1400 Carbon was 1,200g quoted (1,259g actual) in a medium - tested by Bennetts - so not sure where you got the higher number from. Unless the 'Air' variant (is it even a variant?) added 200g!
Hi! Amazing review! I have a question: i use to wear HJC FG ST in size S, how is the fitting compared to that? Locally i can find only the older version to try, is the fit the same between the EVO and not-EVO version or do they fit differently? Thanks
I've had this helmet for a while, and I recommend it if you're looking for a light and comfortable one. One thing is that the visor does tend to get blown shut by the wind.
I wouldn’t risk that. Get the proper size, then use the air system to fine tune. I have the air system as well and while it’s great, it will not fix a helmet that is too big.
Is the helmet loud for others? how is wind noise for you? mine is unbearable, I bought a closed crash helmet precisely because of the wind noise, but I won't wear it without earplugs, I would prefer to send it back to the manufacturer because this is not what I expected, I am disappointed!
I have one but its terrible noise inside. I sent my helmet to service for to check under guarantee...i have ls2 storm and agv ax8 evo carbom and both helmet much more better about windnoise inside
Hi Champion Helmets, could you please confirm the fit/head shape for the 1400? You said it has a more oval fit. Would it be the same fit as the EXO R1 Evo? Thanks in advance 👍🏽
Amazing review as always!
Do you think the EVO Air could have a similar behaviour?
Are there any significant differencies over the weight?
Thanks
The air fit system seems so nice! I always struggle with the cheek pads becoming to lose after a while. Great review btw

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate it! The GT Air 2 is just a little bit better thanks to its comfort and features! Thanks for the question.
@@Championhelmets how safe is the gt2 air since there is no sharp tests and its 22.05 which doesnt say much compared to 22.06
Hello! Same question as with the R1 ... EXO 1400 Evo Carbon is the same with the EXO1400 Air Carbon??? If not what are the differences? Thank you!
Air Carbon is old version without 22.06.
This is great work but We need the gt air 3 review as of now to make a fair comparison with the 22.06 crowd...
Awesome! What is the biggest difference with the 1400 Air?
Thank you for your question. The noise is the biggest difference compared to the 1400 EVO. This is a 4 decibel difference.

What’s the difference between the carbon 1400 and the 1400 2 And are you doing a review on the carbon 2 ?

We got the weight from our scale.
Hi!
Amazing review!
I have a question: i use to wear HJC FG ST in size S, how is the fitting compared to that?
Locally i can find only the older version to try, is the fit the same between the EVO and not-EVO version or do they fit differently?

This helmet was a no brainer for me, the lightest helmet I could find with a sun-visor and reasonably priced.
How is the noise?
would you rather get this or the AGV K6? I am not sure which one to get between these two. Thanks!
Are you guys going to review the new R1 EVO Carbon as well?
Yes we will! We will review this helmet soon! Have a great day. Greetings Champion Helmets
I've had this helmet for a while, and I recommend it if you're looking for a light and comfortable one. One thing is that the visor does tend to get blown shut by the wind.
Excellent video! Are there different colors available for the visor?
Hello Tarik, Yes there are different colors available! You can find them here:
www.championhelmets.com/en/scorpion-exo-r1-air-2d-visor-kdf16-2.html
Nike review! Do you get an extra pinlock for the dark smoke visor?
You unfortunately don’t get an extra pinlock for the free visor!
How does it compare o the Schoei NXR2, is it better or not?
And with type of headshape does it have, will it fit for an intermediate oval?
Nice review. Is it prepared for a communication system by Scorpion or an universal one?
Hello Martin, It is prepared for a universal communication system like Cardo!
i cant find this helmet anywhere, they only sell the air version of it it seems...
Great video! How would you this helmet do compared to other sport touring helmets based on price quality?
Thank you for the question Emir, There will be a sport-touring guide coming soon with this helmet included! Keep an eye out on our social media pages!
what the differences between exo r1 vs exo 1400?🙏
How does this helmet compare against the Schuberth C5 regarding noise ?
Do most people take the chin curtain out?
when you measure the noise of the helmets, do you have air vents open or closed?
They are testing it on a GS with a huge windshield. That just ain't the way to test the wind noise.
This helmet is awesome.. Very quiet in my opinion and fits Perfekt ... The shark spartan pro gt was much more noisy..
Will the size L fit on size M head with the air pumps filled?
I wouldn’t risk that. Get the proper size, then use the air system to fine tune. I have the air system as well and while it’s great, it will not fix a helmet that is too big.
Is the helmet loud for others? how is wind noise for you? mine is unbearable, I bought a closed crash helmet precisely because of the wind noise, but I won't wear it without earplugs, I would prefer to send it back to the manufacturer because this is not what I expected, I am disappointed!
Because they test it on a GS with a huge ass windshield.
You should wear earplugs regardless.
I’m getting confused, so there is 2 Exo-1400 ? The Evo and the Air ?
By the way GREAT review.
following
yes
Yes. The exo1400 evo air replaces the exo 1400 air. The evo stands for the new 2206 certification.
@@Championhelmets and whats the exo 1400 evo II? Even newer? Very confusing...
I have one but its terrible noise inside. I sent my helmet to service for to check under guarantee...i have ls2 storm and agv ax8 evo carbom and both helmet much more better about windnoise inside
Mine is noisy too, but i still use it. Very lightweight helmet and comfy.
@@datvik7187 Just for asking, you're refering to 1400 evo carbon or 1400 air? which is the oldest version
@@davidmartinez927 i have the evo carbon
@@datvik7187 ok thanks for the answer, so seems to be different feelings between customers and the video
Did they solve it, was it faulty? some other comments say it is quiet.
Hi Champion Helmets, could you please confirm the fit/head shape for the 1400? You said it has a more oval fit. Would it be the same fit as the EXO R1 Evo? Thanks in advance 👍🏽
Yes, it's comparable to the Exo R1.
