That's very good

What is quilting
@@lokeshh_ ok so english isn’t my first language so i might not be very good at explaining this, but basically it’s making a bedcover out of textile squares
1 like = 1 day I will work out for an hour
Edit: omg Tysm for the likes this is the most I’ve ever and this has given so much encouragement to just get up and start doing push ups
Edit 2 I will start and give a update tomorrow
Edit 3 day 1 I played an hour of volley ball and a 30 min run.
W
ok man, i do it with you
Hey guys, i think i should update a little too
in 1 day, i jogging for 1 hours with my đa after long time i not in home
in 2 day, i go to the gym and spend 2 hours but i got hurt after this day so im kinna scared
in 3-5 day, i played table tenis my favorite sport with 2-3 hours/day
day 6-7 im kinna lazy so just jogging and running a little bit at home in my treadmill
and im still playing table tenis at least 1h/day everyday to now.
Day 11: i think playing sport is very good (about healthy, not for building muscles or sth like that) btw i learn new serve in table tenis today after 1h try it, and 1 hours play table tenis with my brother.
Day12, i think im learning kinna fast in table tenis, maybe the reson is the internet, today i jogging 30 min and training table tenis 2h, now i cant even stand with the straight legs haha, maybe i will take 1 day rest not playing. table tenis, i gonna do some push-up at home tomorrow i means in day 13, will update late.
Guys i told u, day 15 i think, i still playing table tenis today i play like 3h, but i told u guys, when we training or playing sport we need a rest day for your body can recover, dont like me, now i think i got injury so i need to take like even 1 week just for recover. I cant even walk normal and my hand is hurt too TT.
Lemme do with you too
You got this, man!!!
Let’s get it dude
You made me realize how many hobbies I actually pursue and how valuable they actually are to me, thanks
Same
hobbies are not meant to be attractive hobbies mean doing things that you love it doesn't matter if it is attractive or not. football is my hobby not because it is attractive but because I love football
So true, people care too much for how they look- almost fetishising certain things- it is icky. As someone who does said hobbies, I dont want to be romanticised becuase of them- they are literlally normal things every healthy person should so e.g read, like who doesn't read??
Yeah this video goofy as fuck
looking appealing to other people is human nature lol. Also once u get good at something, its more fun to do, hence becomes a hobby
@@iesha_fWell that's true that looking appealing to others is human nature but that has nothing to do with hobbies it doesn't matter if playing the violin is appealing or not if playing the violin is my hobby then I will not leave it because it is not appealing and find other hobbies
Its just another motivator to help people interested in improving themselves continue to stick to it, its not the main point but a hobby is something that adds value to yourself which is why he said it@@krishbista7066

Weightlifting is good for females too. Men love a muscle mommy.
I would also like to add learning languages to cerebral. It's SO important in today's day and age, where the world is more connected.
I am currently learning a language which is popularly spoken in my country but is not English (though I do also like learning new complex English words), a language where I'm forced to learn an entirely new alphabet, and a language that honestly I've just been learning throughout school so I don't want all those years to go to waste and is spoken by many people worldwide.
Word
was just about to say this. One of the best things you can do for your brain and social skills
I need to pick up on some mandarin. So common where I'm from.
I'm learning Jap. It's been 11 months now
physical: yoga, running and pilates
celebral: learning italian, reading phylosophy
creative: learning to play The sax, and learn to do good photos

One of the simplest but best videos I’ve seen in a while. Good Stuff Mr Chad.
Although I'm a girl I still find his videos extremely helpful. This channel is one of my greatest finds. ❤
I also do recommend watching good documentaries, and keeping up with the worldly affairs. You might be uninterested sometimes but it's something which will never be useless in the long run.
Agreed. With this mindset I started watching analysis of mainstream newspaper every day sometimes ago.
@@monikabarman4283 Can I ask you to share your sources?

I engage in various activities such as learning new languages, playing chess, reading, painting, playing tennis, dancing, cooking/baking, practicing Taekwondo, writing, and solving puzzles. Additionally, I aspire to learn how to play the piano, violin, and cello. Your video has inspired me to delve into programming, despite my initial apprehension about computers and lack of knowledge in using them.
God damn how do u keep up with life I would never have time to do all that lol
@@tobyv6087 I got bullied as a kid so I had a lot of time to learn new things hahah
this guy saved me from a burning building and while i was homeless he gave me room and board for 2 months until he got me a job opportunity. truly grateful for this hero
@@tobyv6087 Honestly, I don’t know. I`m not on my phone much. Other than that, I am a fast learner, so I don’t have to study much for m classes or exams because being attentive in class is enough. Of course I don’t do all of these in a day, but I always try to include all of them at least once a week.

You seem genuine and not solely money driven. Love that. Keep the great work.
oh my god collin i just dont HAVE WORDS for . you acually made me realise there are so many hobbies that i can pursue for real 😯😻
Here is what I did in 2023
- Gym Routine with the hope that I can lose weight and build muscle.
- Played around in animation (Blender)
- Creating fantastical story
- Studying (since I am still in college)
Thoughts: I am pretty proud of myself. I wasn't a healthy kid because I always seem to stay at home to study. I am glad that picked up some healthy choices, as well as starting to do some creative approaches such as story telling and animation.
Hobbies in 2024
- Continuing Gym Routine
- Cooking
- Walking
- Continue creating story
- Sketches
- More in animation
- Study
Thoughts: after 4 months of training, I realized I wasn't really changing anything, so I assumed it must be because of the diet. That is why I thought I should start cooking so I can be aware of what I eat. Hopefully I get a better change in physic when I combine healthy diet with gym. There are also most days where I can't go to the gym since I can't drive yet, so I decided to pick up on walking around more often. I also realized the power of story-telling and I realized I could do something with it. I want to try to incorporate this into animation but I need some character creation and storyboards, so I picked up on sketching. This is likely going to be the hobby that I will spend time the least, since I am still in my final year of college, so I am planning to do as minimal of work on it as I can before this school year ends. After it, I will put energy into it and see how it goes.
This is going to be an interesting year and I can't wait to see what happens. Hopefully, it goes well and I wish your year the same.

Videos have been helping me a lot with my self growth, seeing a lt of progress in different parts of my life. Thanks Collin
Much love
Excellent video. Even though I'm not in that 13-21 year old cohort, this is valuable advice. Some additional points:
I think two other hobbies that should be pursued are public speaking and style. Public speaking is an underrated skill that most folks never think to focus on. But it makes one more informed, builds confidence, and commands respect. Dwayne Johnson speaks of this in his student days.
For style, as a young man, I hated shopping, never learned proper grooming, went quick and cheap, and I see now how much that skill could have benefited me in the professional and social world. And it could be a hobby to learn these new skills and get past discomfort.
😎🤞
Been working out for a year straight now. Even while being sick. Began collecting and reading historical texts, now have a library, began writing a novel and painting/sketching and taking care of plants on top of work and school. Now I started a history podcast and it’s only getting better. Good for your mental health.

I am over 21 and I felt the same, but you are right! Better late than never
Honestly, it has nothing to do with age. Learning new things is fun in itself, mentally stimulating and so joyful. Also, interests might change so it's more a matter of not becoming complacent. And just FYI I'm 43 😅
Is lego building is good creative hobbie?
I would think so
Why not?
Absolutely!
Nice video dude thank you. This is a great change of pace.
Wow! Thanks! You made me value my hobbies a lot more!
My hobbies:
Drawing, guitar, yt videos
Cycling, tennis, working out
Physical: basketball and running
Cerebral: reading (I’m reading through the Bible right now) I also like watching videos and reading some articles that are about psychology.
Creative: piano and singing. I sometimes do extra classes in the summer too and the previous ones I’ve done include acting and dance. I also have customized a pair of basketball shoes recently and that made me feel so cool 😎
Learning languages, reading, jump roping, writing are my hobbies.
that's cool

It's actually really helpful since i haven't had time to focus on my self and this will be a great way to glow up in my opinion
:)
I have quite a few hobbies already:
- Gaming
- Game Developing
- Art
- Reading Manga
I just need a physical hobby now.
Gaming💀
@@nuclearknives7839 yeah, its a hobby, whats so wrong about it?
My physical hobby is trudging through the thick foliage of the huge woods surrounding my home to catch Pokémon, play songs really loud, and sing along as the forest confines my voice so no one can hear. Since I work in a kitchen where I do tons of running around and lifting, my body isn't exactly enthusiastic about incorporating that on my days off. My back suffers enough already 😂 Although I do have to admit I have gained an insane amount of muscle mass simply from working there, which is honestly mind-blowing.
As for the other two categories, I'm still trying to figure out which hobbies I want to pick up. I have tried coding and even finished a C# book for beginners, but for whatever reason, I stopped and sort of forgot everything. I am, however, interested in web design, so I'm considering diving into HTML and CSS just for fun.
Still, I kinda thrive by indulging in hobbies that might not be deemed beneficial or productive by others but provide me with satisfaction and relaxation when I'm not working. Sometimes, I just wanna tune out the whole world, boot up my Nintendo Switch, and spend hours playing video games or watching TV shows. I get to learn about many cool things, practice English, and nerd out as I please! :D
Don’t forget about your public (or school) library for reading. It’s free. Some public libraries also pay for app access to Libby (ebooks) for their patrons. I have a bookshelf full of books, but I’ve read more books than I’d ever be able to afford thanks to my public library.
W
Thank you. You really inspire me. Your videos make me motivated.
my favorite hobbies are drawing, reading, programming, dancing and exercising. I enjoy them a lot, I have my week organized to invest time in each one. the key is in the organization.
Can you elaborate on how you organise them on weekly basis?
I have heard that top universities will look for students who are different and can create an impact on society. By seeing you I can say, it is completely true.

Okay I'm convinced that you live in my mind or something how did you know i wanted to learn about something like this
As always impeccable timing Chad ❤

I literally started my programming journey when I was 10, and now I'm 14 and I learnt 8 programming languages till now
that's great, well done
@@K.S.R_editz Thanks bro
POGG
Hey, I'm a professional software dev and I just want to tell you that, while it's great you have interest in programming, you shouldn't focus on learning new languages. Try solving problems on Leetcode and start a few projects. You may already know this, but programming isn't about knowing languages, but more about problem solving and critical thinking.
learning programming languages is a waste of time
This is actually helpfull. Not only for the 20 somethings, just about anyone. I'm older but I do have 3 now and it's keeping me positive in life.
Thank you very much !!! This video gave me motivation to become someone better in my life. I am surely going to start focusing more on my hobbies. I love coding so because of you speaking of it that was just more motivation added to my list.

Physical: jogging, going for walks outside
Cerebral: reading
Creative: journaling
Things I’m trying to implement
Physical: incorporating strength workouts into my schedule, getting better at sports skills like throwing the football and hitting the volleyball and dribbling the soccer ball
Cerebral: writing a story (I never have motivation 😅), studying film techniques (this is kind of creative too)
Creative: getting back into practicing guitar, baking/cooking something new
I thought it was just too overconfident to say this video is the best to watch for today, but turns out this is the best video I have seen in a while. Not too much so I would forget later, a simple thing but most importantly it makes me take action (list and group my hobby, and then add some new).
Physical: Hitting the gym consistently.
Cerebral: Learning Languages both linguistic and digital (German, Japanese, C & Lua).
Creative: Songwriting, literature writing, and the guitar.
School is really bogging me down right now, but I'm glad I'm hitting these as often as I can. With that being said I don't know if being "attractive" is the right motivation or reasoning behind a hobby. It should be something that fulfills you.
