Yeah they go well! Plan is to strip this all down and get it looking as factory as I can and then just sit it in the shed. Wouldn’t mind getting my hands on a 2000 yz250 to do the same with. They will be worth something one day. Old 2 bangers are going up
Is that what the R means, I thought they were like performance plugs being R ,oh its resistor lol man you learn something every day,Im 56 been riding since i was 12 lol thank you
Great video Ash well explained and I liked the idea of using a rag to stop anything falling into the crankcase. One suggestion is consider using a pointer instead of your fingers it will be easier for us viewers to see what you are pointing at. I have a couple of spare pointers if you like I can send you one.
hey man, that was a really informing and great video, but just one question. ive got an 1996 yz 125 and my as you called it inner clutch case is broken, but i cant find it anywhere. Where would you look for one of those?
Thanks for the comment mate. I just called my local Yamaha dealer. You could also look on partzilla.com I think they call it “case 3” let me know how you go!
Nice video you helped me a lot, I am doing top end now myself and I have a problem with finding a right clearance spec for wossner pistons with nicasil. I have a 2014 125 54mm bore maybe you know if it is the same for me 0.05mm, so it would be a 53.95 piston size.
Best to contact the manufacturer but from what I read it is minimum .04mm and service (change piston) at 1.0mm Please ensure the bore is measured correctly with a dial bore gauge. Glad the video helped out and let me know how you go!
Great bikes just finished restoring a2000 yz 125 there little rippers

Thanks for the feedback. I once seen on another UA-camrs video that he used a stick to point at things, I might try something like that.
Cheers
