  • DeGraaf wrote and directed this documentary film about Stewart Udall, appointed Secretary of the Interior by President Kennedy. With bi-partisan support, Udall established more national parks and monuments than any of his predecessors, employed the first Black park rangers, and appointed the first American Indian in nearly a century to lead the Bureau of Indian Affairs. He went on to work with Lyndon Johnson and persuaded Lady Bird Johnson to champion beautifying America. DeGraaf holds a Q&A and discusses Udall’s legacy.
