A small tip: when the word ends in taa marbootah or hamzah you don't need to add the alif. Those are the only exceptions. For the rest you do have to add the alif after a double fatha. Pin this so the rest of the people can see
Thank you
Thank you
When there is a shaddah right after the tanween do you still say the tanween or ignore and just join it with the shaddah?
@@bobthebuilder6412Can you give a written example of this when it happens? I believe you’re referring to idgham which in that case you would need to merge the tanween with the shaddah letter
@@annymp which means you wouldn't say the tanween sound right? Also I don't have Arabic keyboard here nor am I very good at using it but I'll see if it's idgham

Sir.... You are doing great work... please keep making videos ....
Sir I think on Khit' tun... there should be "Shaddah"...
And I have one suggestion..... Suggested format for lesson naming is like "CourseName -LessonNumber-Lesson Description"
Example:
Arabic-101- Learn Tajweed - Lesson1 - what do the Symbols in Quraan means?
Amazing

I HOPE I GET GOOD MARKS

Man why can’t All Arab countries have the same dialect 😭 sometimes I think I’m reading the word wrong cuz I don’t understand what it means but then when you read it I realize i read it correctly i just don’t understand it
People living with hope they utilize that opportunity because you are marvelous excellent for really i don't know how i can describe your teaching i pray to Allah to give you guide to Janatul firidaus
Barak Allahu feekum, brother
Jazakum Allahu khairan, and Alhamdulilah my work is helpful to you.
Can you please help with tanwin followed by letter with sokun as well.
❤❤❤❤❤
We read tanween with ghunna(Nasal sound +2 harakah extension) always or not?
Nice video, try to respect the solar and lunar consonants please.
❤
When not to add alif when using double fatHah?
When it is used tanween fatha, tanween dammah and tanween kasra?
I have seen tanween of fatha being used without the alif after it as well. What's that about?
I really need an update of “why is the reason of the tanween and when should use nominative, accusative and genetive case” 😢
Brother some more examples should be given to have more clear understanding...jazakallah for the efforts.
Tanween
Salaam sir. I m 11 year old learning Arabic through ur channel. I have a question... if tanveen is used as an indefinite article like an and a, then when we say " hi "(marhaban) in arabic how could that possibly be 'a hi' or 'an hi' could u please clear my doubt as even marhaban ends with a tanween. Thanks in advance. Hope u will reply to me soon😇
When there is a shaddah right after the tanween do you still say the tanween or ignore and just join it with the shaddah
I think you are referring to the rule of idgham .. Yes, tanween is considered nun sakinah, and so if it is followed by certain letters like ر ل you will see that they have shaddah, and in that case you will assimilate the nun sakinah with the letter that follows, but we don't really ignore it.
Assalamualaikum
There are so many series of your videos.
I want to see each one of them in a sequence.
How do I do that? How to distinguish lesson 4 from another lesson 4?

Salamun alaykum sir, I understood from this lesson that Alif should be added to tanween of fatha at the same time I observed in the Qur'an that Alif is not added to taween of fathha with the letter ت, could you explain why it is?
Jazakumullah khair.
Wa alikom asslam brother/ sister ..
I am not sure what you are referring to here when you say in the Quran, because the rule is normally applied?!
When ت receives tanweed fatha in the Quran, alif must be added: Examples: وَأَنۢبَتَهَا نَبَاتًا - فَجَآءَهَا بَأۡسُنَا بَيَٰتًا - وَكَانُواْ يَنۡحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا and many more examples ..
Hope this clears the confusion in shaa Allah..
Asslamo alikom
Salamun alaikum sir, Thanks for this correction sir, and what I was seeing was the ه that has two dots on top and pronounced as ت for example
ولا يجدون فى صدورهم حاجة
This is what I meant, the tanween of fatha on the last letter.
@@badejohameedah2461 Salam Alaikum. If I may explain, I believe that Arabic 101 said in the video and also replied you that the Alif is added ONLY at the end of a sentence; where the last letter of that sentence contains a Tanween Fatha.
I hope this helps. Wa Salam.
@@badejohameedah2461 ...your own example from Surah Hashr is actually A PART of the sentence and NOT the end of the sentence.
If there is a tanween فتح
we do not put an ألف in the end of the word if it ends with (ة)
Then what we should do if the word ends with ة and we want to put a tanween فتح ?
Just put ت instead of ة
No, we just simply put tanween fath normally on the ة like this.
حديقةً
وردةً
The ة can turn into ت in very limited cases. If you want to learn that now, watch this lesson: ua-cam.com/video/RH3WFHesAHw/v-deo.html
Hello brother thank you for the video.i have been watching your from the alphabet up to now and I really learn alot.thank you very much.in this video, the example that you give I don't understand the last part.you say Al'shaara'a.but I see kasrah.please help me clarify it.thank you very much I will be waiting.
Asslamo alikom,
Yes, that is true. That kasra at the end of the noun is called "case ending" which shows the grammatical function of the word in the sentence.
This kasra can be skipped, and I did to simplify the concept, sorry if it confused you.
Asslamo alikom
@@Arabic101 thank you brother.my Arabic is getting better and better all thank to you.i just have to practice it and I can starting reading Arabic just like I read english.May Allah bless you
🍀🤲
I have a qeustion. I saw this in a verse I've read- هُدًى . Why ate there no alif, could anyone explain please?
This lesson should explain it, ua-cam.com/video/nk3wjTBluSo/v-deo.html
👏👏👏👏🙌🏾
Brother you confused me with your example with the pronunciation of qittan. The way you have written it, I read it as qi-ta-ann not qitan. Why is did you connect qa with the ta like there is a shada on the ta
I was thinking the same.
What’s up
I think I got the answer . I asked you the rule of fathateynnn ( tenween)
Are ثمود and فرعون exceptions to these rules?
There are certain words in Arabic which are categorized as ممنوع من الصرف which cannot receive 'tanween' and other rules apply to them.
And so we cannot say فرعونٌ with tanween, and also the same goes for the name عمر
@@Arabic101 جزاک اللہ
@@Arabic101 similarly, we can't say ثمودِ?
Assalam waleikum my question is how do we know wen to put 'ii' or 'ee' example the word tanween will it be the same meaning if we put tanwiin pls reply me
Wa alikom asslam,
Transliteration has no rules really.
Watch this: ua-cam.com/video/WO4rVpsGm7w/v-deo.html
JazakAllah for your explanation may Allah reward you

I can't understand the last example of street where there is tanween on last word so why don't u double there and little bit confused with the last word and I can't pronounce the last word kindly help me.
Asslamo alikom,
I would like to help you, but I am not sure what your question is. Can you rephrase your question, and please don't combine more than one question in the same sentence.
@@Arabic101 street in Arabic how to pronounce with tanween
@@nour6e The word الشَّارِع does not contain any tanween.
The tanween exists at the end of the word before it قِطًّا but not on street الشارع
Hope this clears things up
Asslamo alikom
@@Arabic101 but at last we have to double the Letter of street as doubling symbol is on ش why u don't double the ش why you only pronounce it one time?
@@nour6e The reason for this is related to something called "Sun letters' .. This concept is not yet explained at this stage .. so I didn't fullt apply its rule (applying the shaddah on the ش) because it will be confusing at this point .. but it is explained later when it makes more sense.

Why qettan why not qetan?
Qittan means cat, it's name so can't change
