I would've gotten the socks for sure. Like you said- once it is washed, it's washed. And you aren't talking about old cotton sweat socks. You are talking about quality items with a lot of life left in them. Great haul. TFS.
Great finds today. I loved the LL Bean bedding set. I always wash clothing and linens I thrift with Lysol laundry sanitizer. It makes me feel more confident that they are truly clean. I would also turn the socks inside out to wash just to be sure they are thoroughly clean. I have a rental property and use the Lysol when washing linens between renters. I think it is a good extra to make sure I am delivering a nice clean home to my renters.
Yeah socks! When I lived in a cold climate if my feet were cold my entire body was cold so those socks are great. Watching your video lets me enjoy winter without being cold. Loved seeing the fur babies ❤ sleeping cats always makes me sleepy.

Socks, yea! I wish I kept my grandmother's 1940s and 50s dresses when she died 26 years ago. Vintage clothing is much better made, fabrics better quality. You scored!

I have a "concoction" of gain moo light breeze, Downey lavender scent beads, and lysol laundry sanitizer to wash my wool, linens, and thrift store textiles. I then hang outside in the fresh air and sunshine followed by a quick fluff in the dryer. I'm probably breaking every laundry rule, but so far its worked for me and everything smells great! The Sox were worth getting, they are special, the sweaters brought back memories too, the set of dishes 8n the box for 19.99 would have been a good buy, the dishes that looked a little like limoges were not fine china so good call on that. Chris I went to this so call Estate sale but was very disappointed the lady that was handling this should had made it clear it was more of her online Auction house just about everything in there was for Online Auction and it’s like you didn’t know what to touch on top of that her bundles were expensive although I bought very few things it had to be the worse so call Estate Sale I’ve ever been she should have removed the Online Auction stuff and left the few things to be able to shop for uggh sorry for ranting hope to see you out there take care!!!
Can you really throw those 100% wool sweaters in the wash w/o them shrinking? The only one I've ever seen that done to went from a women's medium to a small child's size.

I’ve bought socks at the bins before. Heavy wool hiking socks. Quality socks are pricey, I’ll take a bargain whenever I can find it!

The smell in the sweater is probably mothball. Often you can’t smell it dry but it stinks when wet!
Bleh - it was the worst, but fortunately, once the sweater dried the smell was gone.
