Hi Julie. I just told Kelsey that I had a few minutes to go to Goodwill. It was full today and actually great prices but I just got a whole bag of cute little new Christmas stuff..little trees, reindeer, wooden trees, little pine ones for my tree…seventy five percent off. I got a whole bag of stuff for less than six dollars. I bet they just have not gotten the donated stuff out yet. I like that green organizer. I need one. I love little miniature things but then get tired of it, but don’t want to get rid of it. Those pillows were nice. Hope you all have a great year. ❤❤❤❤
Hi Julie! Those primitive placemats would also be great to line refrigerator shelves and how to open frog and everyone sees it decorated to match your house. Or even frame them and put over stove burners and makes extra space. I have thinking outside the box , decorating, thrifting, yard sales and repurposing. I then decorated my own room, all my apartments and houses and I still do!!! Scarfs over some lamps to tone down light and enhance coziness! It is harder now, 64 and disabled and we are fighting my husbands cancer still. Caring for him but we went to our Goodwill and I spent $118.00!!! Didn't mean to but so many great finds. There were some I had to leave behind! So much fun!
I have a shoe rack on my coat closet door, that I keep gloves and hats in. This keeps me from have to stop everytime I need a pair of gloves in the winter and look for a matching pairs.
Oh Julie that makes me so sad too. You know that was done for someone. It also makes me sad to see handmade quilts, baby quilts too. I know someone put a lot of love and work into it

The silver platter with the intention space in the middle was originally a chip and dip set with a silver bowl in the middle....I had one in the 1970s....I also had the other platter shown in the video...just a note for your reference!😊 I'm 77 and love your channel 🎉 15:48

Originally I'm pretty sure it had a candle on bottom &a glass dish/ bowl of some sort that held the scented oils & the fire from the candle heated it so it would smell.. if all that makes sense😄 That sketch almost looks like Judy Garland?! The place mats are so pretty! I don't keep place mats on the table, but i would if i had those!😁 Honey my husband calls me a lamp hoarder, but I'm not a hoarder! I love old lamps, &i used all but a few in our apt in TN. I had a few in storage! A couple small ones I need shades for & one that's pretty big, its a cut crystal & brass lamp & i had nowhere to put it, but I'll have somewhere in the house we getting ready to move into! And.. I'll need more lamps too!😆 I loved the wood piece that looks almost like a shallow dough bowl! I always ck out the kitchen linens, Fabric, bedding. Pretty much all my bedding is thrifted except my quilts. I use top quilts instead of a comforter. But if I find one i like I'll sure get itn😉 Ohh i loved the blue & red quilt!! I've just always loved quilts, especially hand made! The rugs looked nice! I love to find & pick up shelves for decorating, especially with pegs! And I love that one with the mirror! So pretty! But I would probably tone that wood down just a bit. My daughter has A door organizer like that but a like shorter maybe. She keeps her jewelry in it on the bathroom door. I think that may have been a brass charger maybe? Not sure but I love it! Perfect piece to put behind some things on a shelf! Lol.. I'm glad you got the place mats! I really like them! I used place mats to make pillows! I just hot glued 3 sides, stuffed it glued the last side half way & stuffed it til i was satisfied then finished hot gluing it. I added some embellishments like bows, tiny bells, Christmas buttons or glitter glued on stars or snowflakes.. they were Christmas mats & were like the tapestry fabric. I made 6, each different, & they really came our so pretty! I really like the burgundy color here & the, just not in abundance! Thanks for taking us along & sharing! I knew you would get those placemats and they are beautiful! I also loved that little quilt that you looked at. I've always heard that olive oil should be kept in darker bottles to help keep it from going bad, but I guess if you use it quick enough, then it really doesn't matter and I do see it in clear bottles in the store. I've taken my Christmas stuff down. I left out some snowflakes,deer, and little trees. Thanks for the idea of a scarf and basket for the blanket ladder. I didn't know what throws to put on it after taking down Christmas. Once again, inspired by you. Happy new year 🎉

Would pillows out of the placenmats be too chunky to put in the back of the chair for back support. Maybe not fill too full or tie to the outside back of the chair with a ribbon?
I like those placemats. If you don't like the burgundy the all black ones for $4.49 over around the appliances that were tied with a rubber band looked like 6 or 8 of them were priced what you would pay for one in the store. Plus, they would match with your dining chairs.....😊
I leave out my silver trees, my snowmen, my little trees,and everything winter until March, I love this season!
