Hi Chris, love the cat you took home ! I’m a cat lover also ❤ really appreciate you stopping in the thrift stores , I’m learning a lot and love vintage things
Love that cat !! So many good things in your haul and you have amazing friends who give you the best gifts !!! The fruit tray would look great on your kitchen table just saying 😊it’s kitty proof
You were in my neck of the woods. I’m glad you had some success because I usually do not. As a matter of fact I was at that Goodwill just today but found nothing - and their prices are getting ridiculous. I have sold a few furniture items at Perfect Piece consignment and have purchased only a couple of things there over the years. I also have shopped unsuccessfully in that Restore in Vernon a couple of times. I prefer the one in Bloomfield.
OMG and they had a long table of Blue Willow on their porch too. They must have been serious collectors! I wonder what happened to all that blue Willow.? 😮
I wish I knew! In my experience, private sellers often donate unsold items after a sale, but estate coordinators will often keep them and include them in a future sale.
@ the goodwill in Norwich it’s awful but the summer here is great for the church tag sales in Preston and Jewett city can’t beat the prices I get spoiled
@@donnanenna1492 I've been to that Goodwill twice and came home empty handed both times! (I have family that lives in Norwich). If you think of it, I would love a heads up in the summer when good sales are happening in your neck of the woods!
Kris, I commented earlier about the blue Willow you came across at that estate sale in MA that you posted a month ago. I did not see that one until yesterday. You mentioned the prices were too high for resell at that estate sale. Have you ever thought about alerting collectors when you see something like that and acting like a buyer for that collector charging a percentage fee? There were pieces there I have seen anywhere else and would have loved to know the maker and if an offer could have been made for the lot. You could include being a personal shopper for a collector that lives in CT and could pick things up from you cutting out the task of listing and shipping.
Hello! Yes, I have sometimes alerted collectors when I know they're looking for certain kinds of things. If you want to shoot me a list (via email: Klindsay1388@gmail.com), I can text you if I come across something. The only downside is that if I text you, you'll need to get back to me asap because sometimes I'm in high pressure buying situations and things get snapped up very quickly (e.g. estate sales). That's less true if I'm at a thrift store or antique store, etc.
Omg! I am sitting here watching your video of one month ago when you ended up going to an estate sale in MA. Iwould have been in heaven as they had SO MANY nice blue Willow pieces. Wow! I wonder what the prices were and what happened to all of it? It’s part of the Salmon Brook Historical day where you went to this estate sale in MA.
That was quite an estate sale! Great for collectors, not resellers. The owner had amazing collections of pretty much anything you can name. I would imagine that if it didn't sell, the estate sale managers may have brought it to a different sale for a lower price. Just a guess.
Hello! Love your channel :-). I’m new to the world of vintage thrifting and learn a lot from you. Something to consider … I’m looking to build two sets of dinner plates (10-12 in each) - Christmas and patriotic/Americana themed. I want all of them to be one offs of higher end brands (no cartoony stuff). Have you ever sold eclectic/collected sets like that?
❤Kris do You? Know yet when your opening is in call chester going to be? Can't wait to get up there. I love this video with all your stops and lovely items that you picked up. You have such a good eye. And by the way, you look great today. Your hair, your outfit nice. I'm really looking forward to getting app to your boss gonna grab my daughter and? Well, run up there. I'm sure it's going to be just so lovely. Please make an announcement of when you're opening and your hours of operation. So we will excitedly take a drive in the meanwhile, enjoy decorating your home for the holidays. I'm going to do a little bit cause. I usually go to my daughters for the holidays. Put up put up my little ceramic tree. And couple other little things. I have an activity set after. I learned so much from you. I have several options but I think I'll put the I don't know if it's Lennox. Or I think it's Lennox. It's just the 3 pieces. I think I will just put that up with maybe some twinkling candles. Or something. Someone little bit of light to make them shine bright. Take care and stay warm!❤
The booth is open! I did a video about it last week. Quality Consignment is open 7 days a week from 10 - 6 on weekdays and 10 - 5 on weekends. Definitely check it out! Good luck with your holiday decor - it sounds like you have a good plan!

I'm glad you enjoyed the haul! The fruit tray doesn't match the kitchen colors, otherwise I would definitely use it!
So many great finds! All 3 places seemed to have a lot of nice things. I never get that lucky at Goodwill or Habitat.
Goodwill and Habitat are both pretty hit and miss for me, but once in a while I find some good things!
Thanx for the video which I so enjoy will visit the Manchester goodwill ❤
I seemed to hit it at a good time! You never know with Goodwill...
You might start getting recognized out there! Im sure you already are!
Great finds!! The expression on that cat's face is the best!!
Haha! I agree!
Great video, thanks for sharing. ♥️
I'm so glad you liked it! 💕💕
Loved the pottery lamp in the first shop…I’d pay that price..everything else I thought was overpriced! Of course the Goodwill was the best!
I really liked the lamp as well! They had a lot of nice things.
❤🌲❤️

I haven't been to a ReStore in Bloomfield - I'll have to check it out. And I agree with you - Goodwill prices are a bummer.

That Royal Worcester(don’t pronounce the C 😊) dish was amazing. I was at the factory in England. Very expensive in their shop!!
I'm so glad you liked it - I would love to see the factory!
I love the Manchester goodwill my goodwill is horrible
Which Goodwill is horrible? I'd love to know so I can avoid it! 🤣🤣

Welcome to the channel! No, I've never sold an eclectic set like that, but I love your vision!

I would love that!
