    My version of the white button assembly had a torx screw. Luckily, I was equiped. Despite there being a plastic tab broken in each assembly -probably to stop the seat inclining or reclining too far, i just could not figure out why it was not operating properly. Over time and during beach and park visits, these mechanism pick up dust and fine sand but cleaning them thouroughly is just not enough. On my model, the white button didn't need sanding; however, deeper inside the mechanism, three large platic slots/guides really needed lubrication. Your video put me on the right trail of essentially lubricating all and any two plastic elements meant to slide against one another. Thank you!
    Keep at it, you're great at clarifications!

    My springs are missing indeed. What is their size and specifications? Bugaboo wants you to buy complete buttons just for missing springs

    Hi, We dont have the drill and the equipment that you have to fix it unfortunately, is there any other alternative way to fix the seat position white buttons that dont push in? Still trying to find a way to lock in the seat position as it keeps tilts up and down with moves. Any doable advice please?

    Hi! Thanks for this! Any advice on fixing the split rubber outer foam on the bottom of the seat frame? We have a split on our donkey. Glue it or just cut the whole thing off and have it bare?

      Same here, missing those springs after trying to take apart! Any idea of sizing for replacements (buffalo model, not cameleon)? Or if they're the same size on both models?

    Hi, thank you for your very informative videos! I have a cameleon 3, and there is something wrong in that the seat frame only clicks down on one side. You mentioned in the video that it might be the discs but I can't see anything wrong with any of the mechanisms. Any idea what I should look for? Since there is no button for cameleon3 on the main frame, there's nothing for me to WD40 right?,

    • @BarnevognverkstedNo
      @BarnevognverkstedNo  4 роки тому

      That's right. I would open up the side of the frame that doesn't click and examine the pieces for wear (warped / knicked plastic) that may need to be smoothed out, and do the same on the inside facing of the strut. Also check that nothing has gotten lodged inside the main channel.

    Hello maybe this is a better video to ask my question. In my camoleon 1, there is play in this center part with plastic gears. Hence the seat frame has vertical wiggle & play. Is this normal? if not, is it fixable?. I opened up the plastic gears, checked for wear, and couldn't find any.
    On the chassis, struts have some top wear ( I wonder if that causes partial locking due to less lateral displacement in the gears. so I inserted some cardboard above the struts to check for that, yet the wiggle remained).
    Thanks.

      @BarnevognverkstedNo  5 років тому +1

      Hi :) Just responded on your other comment. Yes, wiggle here is normal. Bugaboo strollers tend to get rather loose over time due to all the plastic. The only time to really worry is if there is no resistance at all, this means broken parts.

      @@BarnevognverkstedNo Thank you for the answer.
      I fix a lot ot bicycles, so have some understanding of mechanics. when I checked inside the locking mechanism on the seat frame, where one gear slips halfway into one, and remains halfway in the other, I found it to be somewhat weak design, especially when its made of plastic, and this is a high torque area. even if it engagement were 2mm longer on each side it would gain (or keep) much rigidity.
      I will keep checking your channel, thanks for putting this material out there.

      When I try this, and screw it in, it won’t fix at any point and can’t get the white button to pop out, even bought a new rotation unit from bugaboo, but still the same issue. What could I be doing wrong?

    Hi! Thanks for your video. We fixed the 'sticking' and got everything back together, but the default position for the white button is depressed, so the mechanism is not locked. Do you know what could be the problem?

    • @MissDraiha
      @MissDraiha Рік тому

      @@andergurmendi3934 This was a while ago so I'm not 100% sure, but from what I remember one of the pieces was backwards and/or on the wrong side. It was almost identical the correct way and the flipped way, so it took us a while to figure out. Bit eventually we switched it and it worked perfectly

    Hi, is it possible to replace that chassis holder when you fold the stroller ? those small plastic holder near front wheels pointing down? can be seen at 1:13, both my Frog plastic pieces are broken and I can not find any replacements online

    Have followed tutorial to the letter, now cannot get the button assembly to fit flush back into position. All gears appear to be correctly lined up, sits about .5cm proud of where it should!!

      Check the teeth for damage, lubricate, reassemble (don't be afraid to force it a little) - annoying as it is, it will work, if everything is correct (it was correct when it came apart after all) - Bugaboo is all about patience, because everything is too precise. Having fixed hundreds of their models, I do get your pain, though :)
