Not to be a smartass but that's a hot air intake. Thats just pulling air fromna hot engine compartment. The stock filter housing pulls from the fender which is cooler air that in the engine compartment. Gale Banks had a clip on UA-cam showing the lost horsepower of a "cold air intake" due to the decrease in air density because it's temperature was so high.

I can see where your coming from but the whole is still in the fender I noticed no difference in temps or performance from the stock box.
