I bought the boost bolt adaptor and the instructions that you sent with it now take out the front centre bolt instead of the rear. Does it matter which one I use?
You’ve probably got it handled now, but you are correct about either of the two center intake manifold bolts being the ONLY boost reference holes. Cheers!
I counted total of four gauges Boost gauge Trans. Gauge .Fuel pressure gauge Exhaust Tempature gauge . Were did you put the fuel pressure gauge. You show a three pod system
Our 3 gauge kits come in a few different options, for this particular kit you can purchase one that comes with a transmission gauge or a fuel pressure gauge. So we show you how to install the sensors for both but only show wiring one to power because that is the same for either gauge.
@@GlowShift Thank you for the info I received my gauges with all the connections that I ordered . I can not wait for the weather to warm up so that I can install them
Ill have to send a pitcture of my 6.5 to Glow shift when I get the truck done I bought a dash mount 3 gauge pod and I fiberglassed and modled it into my dash on my 98 chevy I then smoothed out the rest of the dash pained it base coat clear cloat big job truck is slowly coming together defiently putting Glow shift gauges in hope to take the truck to a few shows could possibly be niced 6.5 turbo diesel in Saskatchewan when im done maby even all of canada seens everyone hates them and don fix them up
@@gavingrant1715 for boost/vacuum you would need to locate a factory vacuum line and use the t-fitting that comes included with the boost/vacuum gauge.
GlowShift Gauges do you run/ feed the boost hose from the fuel filter housing through the fire wall and to the fuel psi gauge the same as a regular boost gauge
please add the boost adapter to accessory list. Thought i had everything but needed this. 1/8-27 NPT Male to Male Restrictive Barbed Fitting
Could you have used expandable circuits for the headlights voltage instead of a wire splice
Yes, we actually do that often. For this particular install we decided to splice.
@@GlowShift can you show that
Just bought a truck with your boost gauge but no other gauges in the cluster. Which is a bummer.
Do you have a pod kit for the 80s square body suburban?
Would love to buy the boost gauge Adapter sadly you guys dont ship to Germany😓

What’s the difference for a 93 model other than the pod itself?

Let us know if you have any questions!
Do you have a kit for a 1999
Any kits to put gauges in the pocket area under the HVAC controls. I cannot stand piller gauges.

Can I just wire a gauge to the temp sensor under #1 I think it is? My gauge is bad on the cluster
Our gauge will only work if it is connected to our sensor.
for the dimming feature to work you would need it to be attached to the rheostat side of the dimming switch not headlight 12v???
No, do not connect it to the dimming switch. It needs to be connected to the headlight 12 volt switch.
What about for the manual nv4500?
Dont need a trans temp gauge for a manual...
After installing the transmission temp sensor i realize i do not have the green and black wire for the next step. Can it be ordered separately?
You can use any 18-gauge automotive wire.
@@GlowShift thanks for the reply 👍🏼
Is this the same for a boost and vaccum gauge by glowshift or is it just the boost gauge
Just the boost only gauge
@@GlowShift how do you do boost and vacuum gauge
@@gavingrant1715 for boost/vacuum you would need to locate a factory vacuum line and use the t-fitting that comes included with the boost/vacuum gauge.
How would you run a fuel pressure gauge, is it the exact same principle as a boost gauge
What do you mean by run?
GlowShift Gauges do you run/ feed the boost hose from the fuel filter housing through the fire wall and to the fuel psi gauge the same as a regular boost gauge
Yes, that is correct.
What if you have an egr valve, my k2500 light duty has an egr valve which uses the front and rear center bolts on the upper intake ??
You can use the second option of drilling the hole for the boost line.
Does this kit work on the 99 models also? If not what is different
Yes, but you will need a different pod.
