There's different types of Armenians like Armenians from Armenia, Persian Armenian, Iraqi Armenians, Greek Armenians, Lebanese Armenians and so on... He one of the ones from Lebanon.
One of my favorite Munchies episodes ever! Kris is the best! I hate it when the host is all about personality and trying to be funny. Kris is the opposite, he's down to earth, sincere, and real!
Thank you for reppin my neighborhood to the fullest! I used to work right next door to jazz and she's the one of the best people you will ever meet. But Leo's tacos will always be the best diamond I ever found ( the original one on Venice tho) lol
This was so good! I knew Eric was going to be in it but then got caught up with that lovely Thai lady Jazz and then all of the sudden you're hangin with Koston and Ellington!? Hell ya! Also like your vibe.. Super chill and not pretentious LA Vice. Great video! More of Kris!
Munchies, BuzzFeed, UA-cam, all food presenters, I just have to say that this guy's great. He has the charm that I feel like has been missing for years from new food presenters
youre kidding right? he has nothing informative to say. just prances around in his rolex and gold rimmed sunglasses. had to turn the video off cause that lipsmacking is atrocious. like dude chew with your mouth shut the people round the corner can hear you, you fkin mess hahaah

The one thing I like about this channel is the verity of different content it produces. It’s inspiring me to do a video on the different taco trucks in my area. I’m not knocking on Hollywood, I been there, ate there and still truly believe that San Diego, CA still has the best taco trucks in the world. I’m definitely going to make a video of it on my channel soon. If anyone has any suggestions what to put in the video, other than their food, would be greatly appreciated.
ahhh I wonder why that guy "Eric" looked vaguely familiar - when they started talking about skating, I connected the dots. It's Eric Koston ! I use to play as him sometimes in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 !
Why do all Asians chew like cows? They chew with their mouth open. Why? Is it a cultural thing? Can someone help me answer that? it’s rude and disgusting
@@CorleyCollects If he was a "mega douche" in that episode then you must be a conservative Christian. Great job spreading hate my friend. Hope it's workin out for ya.
As an Armenian from Toronto, I will always be envious of my LA Armenians who have such a well-established community and a plethora of Armenian spots to get food haha. We don't have too many Armenian spots in Toronto and wherever they are I don't see them often.
16:13 Eric Wareheim being a normal being and talking about real shit, but the GONORRHEA ALERT! sign just make it like it was a sketch from his comedy. GREAT JOB!
As a lifetime East Hollywood resident, I am proud to see longstanding institutions around the area attain some spotlight. The only error I can vouch for is including Leo's Taco Truck. They made their name in the Mid-City area, and made their move here over the last few years. The best two taco trucks are a block away in a dark auto repair lot on Western and Lexington (El Matador and forgot the name of the one next to it). Nothing like tasting their sweet menu items after a night out. Better Al Pastor tacos and tortas than Leo's overrated truck. Just ask all the Armenian taxi drivers and locals that have lived around the area for +10 years.
i agree. i used to live near leo's, super overrated. those tacos are tiny, and the beans barely have any flavor. i'd hit up taco stands vs taco trucks for the best pastor.
You know growing up in the San Fernando Valley (just over the hill from Hollywood) I was very use to the multitude of strip malls around me but I was always deterred from trying out the restaurants other than the donut shops. But this sure did change my view around. This makes me appreciate where I grew up that much more.
11:04 this is so true - a lot of times I judge how good a sushi restaurant is going to be based on how plain the decoration in the restaurant. The less they spend on the tables and chairs, the more they spend on the fish. That's the hope, at least.
I feel like the guys in this video live in a little bubble and don’t realize a lot of other cities in the U.S have strip malls. Multiple times they mentioned how strip malls are unique to LA and how there’s no other place where you can get your “nails done and eat food next door”. Literally all over the US. Also when eating outside at the taco truck, they mentioned how LA is the only place they can eat street food outside like that... literally the whole world does that... not unique to LA. I am originally from LA so no hard feelings there but these guys act like no one else is doing what they are doing. Either way, the food looked amazing ;)
I’ve never had Thai food, I have only ever seen a Thai restaurant once in my life here in Scotland :( and it wasn’t even a real restaurant it was a take out/take away... looks so yummmmmm
Cannot wait to get back LA. I might have to jump in the car and head over from Vegas IN February. You really opened my eyes. I loved Guisadas and I am thinking Leo's will just as awesome possibly even better.
Homeboy's style is on point. Aviator Prescription glasses, gold jewelry, tattoos and summer floral shirts. He looks like he is from a movie called: '' Chronicles of a Yakuza Gangster on Vacation.''

@2:31 when that Armenian man just says, "everything beef." just shook me to my core.

This voice is so gravelly and powerful, I felt like my computer screen was gonna turn into beef just from him saying that.

How many times do you have to say “In LA” in one scene. Also, that Gonorrhea sign was the best shot.
