- The Festival event launched yesterday, but also a new terminal audio entry if you missed it. In this one, Drifter and Immaru speak of Savathun’s plan, his control under the Vanguard and Drifters deadpan Ghost. Although it’s not much, there are some interesting tidbits we can pick out. Alongside that some funny Festival dialogue of the Guardian taking Immaru for a walk. Let’s take a look.

I love that I got a dialog where Immaru cracked about how "Glint had to go get his mommy" when Ikora called him out, so she quips "Should I call yours?"

Immaru says "It's all a part of the plan" so often, I think the plan is "keep telling the Guardians that it's all part of the plan"
I think Immaru is jealous of us, he keeps on going on about this plan savathun has, but savathun is the god of lies and deception yet immaru doesn't like mind games as we found out in the first mission of the season and he'd rather just torment us and demoralise us.
Because of this savathun probably didn't tell him anything and that's why he's keep on going on about it bc he's bothered, savathun also just dumped him with us, all this combined with his comment on the bond between ghost and guardian sounds like he is jealous and wishes he has that bond with savathun, expecially when he likes feeling above everyone else which savathune denies him of doing by casting him a side and using him as a pawn in her game
That and the comment Immaru stated when revealing audio logs from Savathune. It's like Savathune trusted us more then her own brood...which no doubt is a huge sticking point too Immaru.
Knowing Savathun, giving Imaru to the VG is just all part of the plan!

My favourite piece of dialogue has to be Immaru becoming a build critic during the Nessus Haunted Sector.
Anyone thinks Eris should take Immaru as her new ghost? She'll be the second Guardian after Shin, and crack a new theory about ghosts.
I'd like to think that Fynch would do the honors, if it came to that. He had buyer's remorse with Ken and Eris is kind of a hive now.

I think Savathun wants to take the final shape for herself. She is the Hive God of Cunning and the Imbaru she gets from succeeding in being cunning enriches her.
To out wit the Witness and the Darkness itself would be a huge amount of imbaru and give her ultimate power.
Savathun isn't our friend and we aren't her enemy.
I don't think she has any reason to want to kill or betray us she has no worm so there's no need to lie or to trick anymore she seems to want to exist enjoying her throneworld and experience life maybe get a hang of flying

Do we know how time in destiny works yet? Cuz immaru said he led the hive for years after savathuns death but it has and been a year and a half. 🤔
For us players, it's been a year and a half, but remember that games usually make time skips to keep us on the action. Usually, military operations alone take weeks to plan it could take even longer if you go learning stuff on the fly like eris does. Also, remember as well that guardians are mostly unconcerned with time, given they're functionally immortal

I actually hope immaru comes around to our side. I wouldn't mind him begrudgingly doing so either. He's a little shit that likes to talk back and I think it's amazing. I've seen some players say that it annoys them. Outside of repetitive destiny dialogue don't be so thin-skinned you neon nerds!!
