Guardians compared to the Guardian are incredibly weak that's why we never fight them, unless it's under crucible rules, which blocks most of our power. The Guardian is basically like fighting Oryx, how do you defeat that, you'd need a full battalion of guardians to fight the main one we use.
@@evilformerlys4704 To be fair, most of the gods we kill we usually need a fireteam of 6 for so we aren't the most powerful guardian, we definitely are powerful but we wouldn't have been able to kill, atheon, crota, oryx, aksis, etc without the rest of our fireteam. I ain't saying we are weak, believe me when I say this, we are definitely a powerful fucking guardian thats done some insane feats like saving osiris and saint-14 which btw, osiris tried but apparently couldn't save him whereas we could. Then we also killed Oryx's sister known as Savathun, who attempted to use the light against us, and of course we manage to smoke her ass on our own. At this point I almost feel bad for the witness, he doesn't seem to think highly of our guardian despite the accomplishments we've done, man calus is so fucked. So yeah, we're pretty fucking powerful, and so are the other guardians within our fireteam.
We’re still not sure why the Travaler gave Savathun and her Hive the Light, but whatever it’s intentions, we’ll know it’s true colors by Lightfall. My speculation is that Lightfall will reveal an entity inside the Traveler, in which she/he/they will reveal why they’ve been so silent for so long. Bungie has always delt with themes of symmetry with Destiny, as a result, if the Darkness and Pyramids have the Witness as a representation of the Darkness’ most radical ideals, so too must the Traveler.
People are confused about the Traveller to begin with. Everyone keeps forgetting why the Traveller is even in the universe to begin with. It is one of two beings who are literally the care takers of the Universe, the life within the Universe is because of the Gardener(Traveller). Did you play Witch Queen? The hive were going to get the light billions of years before humanity did, in fact if it wasn't for Savathun's vengeance, humanity probably would not have gotten the light at all.
I still think the traveler is still a machine or a ship like the pyramids. The way I see it, the light and dark are opposites. The light gives but the dark takes. The light removes ur memories but the darkness makes u remember. The light brings life but the darkness kills life. The light's goal is expanding population but the darkness says only the strongest live. 1 traveler but many pyramids. This being said, the light has many guardians in which the power of the light is distributed among us but i believe that the wittness is like the guardian of darkness but the powers of dark are mostly for him. We know that he uses the darkness like a cape, he doesnt make darkness not is he the embodiment of it
Probably not. A lot of the original concepts and ideas for Old Chicago ended up being repurposed for the Throne World. Or the swamp portions of it, at least.
@@Banana-Boi It'd be dumb if a third Earth destination was ANOTHER eastern European location, but I don't see an issue with picking any other area on the planet. Earth's pretty big. It would be nice to see more golden age ruins in general, really. It's easy to forget about the whole "collapse" thing, considering how little of its consequences we've really seen. A destination centered on a single large city could be pretty cool, Chicago or otherwise.
@@Sweld549 We've seen plenty of places that show the collapses consequences like the cosmodrome, the edz, the moon, venus, mars, titan and europa. Maybe the reef could be counted too. I'd rather have a unique destination like the dreadnaught, dreaming city and throne world were.
@@Banana-Boi EDZ and Cosmodrone are roughly the same area geographically, and D2 Mars, Titan, and Europa were just not very good locations in general. I just want an area involving golden age ruins, but built with the same level of quality as the Throne World.
I imagine it would involve Shayura growing a following and we have to hunt down the individual members. I'd imagine Shin would get involved and be the one to finish off Shayura in the finale
@@pheonixeternal8981 actually, maybe it could be built into an exotic mission instead of a season. Like Shayura informs us of some guardians that began following her ideals, then Shin helps us hunt down the followers. In the mission, Shin lends us the First Curse to use on the followers (like in the Last Word mission)
This just made me so excited for all the stories that will be told via movies and shows. (seeing that seems the route Bungie is looking to take with the Sony Partnership). My mind started racing with all the new content and lore that will come.
Lets face the facts. If she ever did feel the need to hunt guardians once again and suddenly encountered 'Us' the 'Player' Yeah she is gonna die, the last thing you want to do is mess with a God slaying guardian. I have no doubt she'd get smoked so hard by us, she maybe a monster based on the lore but we've fought gods, she's nothing more than an unstable guardian, she'd be asking for death if she tried to face us in battle. If she's smart she'll try to avoid our sight, and she'd better unless she wants to die very quickly.
Bungie should make a story mission where we fight other Guardians that went rogue or crazy and some of them we kill because we had no choice but some we capture alive send them to Zavala.
Why do i get the feeling that we will actualy fight corrupted or crazy guardians in Lightfall? I mean it feels lile fighting the Lucid Hive Guardians and killing their ghosts feels like it’s a special training for this moment to face Rouge Guardians who crossed the line
Sounds fun until you realize those Guardians are 10x weaker than your Guardian. No thanks, the setup of this powerful Guardian having trouble with bums who would get wiped out fighting a yellow bar is not a fun idea.

@@DestinyNerd470 nothing against any particular Warlock, it's honestly exhausting having Warlocks in crucible. This would make a great season or plot or someone we fight, cause we are darkness users so she would be after us I think it would be a really cool fight or enemy to have in another guardian trying to take us out
When the drifter first talks about the nature of egregore fungus he describes a hive like specimen but clearly was not hive. Maybe these stories are hinting at some further connection. if the drifter saw some kind of culmination of the darkness following races how the witness is "formless" these would be "all forming"
…I can’t wait until Bungie/ Sony starts putting these out in Anime/ Cartoons…etc. As someone else commented earlier, they have so much to work with. So many storylines.
Would love if bungie made a spinoff game, Halo style, where we play as different guardians in different missions throughout the years of Destiny 1 and 2.
Could maybe do some of the well known npcs and how they came to be legends. Like ikora and her rampage through the crucible. Shaxx and co at the gap. Could even focus on some of the other lore bits, like the great disaster etc.
I really appreciate evaze for these types of lore he provides for us, I feel like he's giving us a bedtime story and we're all his kids😂 he's so good at presenting stories and lore to us, appreciate it man
You have to take into account the names of their corresponding weapons, Shayura’s wraith, Reed’s Regret, Aisha’s embarce. Maybe those mean something to the story
Title's kinda misleading if she's getting help and still not on a crusade against Stasis users. She's definitely going to learn from Aisha about it since she's only pulled it to protect others.
Fun fact about aisha and her ghosts names Aisha is a name of a historically important Islamic and Arabic women Dunya simply means universe (it usually to the mortal fading life/world unlike the everlasting one)
This lore is juicy as hell man. Personally from reading these comments, people really wanna have these fights with other human-related guardians but I personally think Curcible is the best way to put it i to perspective. Your talking about fighting toe to toe with someone who as the same access to powers/abilities/weapons who can easily match you or even outclass you. No thank you,id hate to fight a "boss" like that. And thats not even considering that your fighting a fire team. 2 guardians on 1!? Yeah, you OBVIOUSLY have a death wish. Think of it like this,in a term of an example, are you telling me that as an evil guarian who huts other guardians,YOU would want to figt Zavala,Ikora AND Cayde-6 (I know he',s dead, but humor the thought if he wasnt) at once?
Man you really need to do an add on with the weapons! Shayurahs wrath, Aisha's embrace, exalted truth. Plus the names that don't have lore like forgiveness, burden of guilt. But most importantly you need to read Reed's Regret. It points to Savathun possibly being the reason behind Shayurahs..... decisions
Good story. Just thrown off by Reed-7's use of Murmur. All those weapons were supposedly destroyed by the Cabal in the Red War. If not, where is my No Land Beyond at? I miss that Sniper Rifle.
I'd like to be able to fight against PVE guardians, maybe they can make them altered somehow??? I sort of imagine a civil war being in the future for Destiny possibly making a divide between light and dark guardians considering maybe humanity assumes the mantle of the Traveler and the Witness' pyramid ship. I would like to think the Witness and Traveler's pilot come to a draw in their fight and either both die or maybe they synchronize and come to a new purpose. I hope the end of this story arc really concludes the Traveler and Witness story line and gives us something new to fight against. In my opinion the raw chaos of the universe could be seen as the true evil while light and dark are fully understood as two sides the same coin. Just anything to get us off this never ending "what does it mean to be good/evil" cliché we've been getting.
Man people need to free up a slot and play the new light quest from the start, there is some wild shit in it. Shaw lterally flies off with the crashed ship from the first game and lies to you the whole time. What emblem do you get for doing the whole quest? An emblem that is "Rogue (Class)".....you are are a rogue for doing the tutorial, because Shaw is straight up fucking shit up. His Ahankara is not simply for the rule of cool like people decided it was
I think Destiny could really spice things up by adding the ability to invade others like invasions on fromsoft games. Play acting like a rogue invading guardian during a campaign mission or perhaps a dungeon.
Anyone else play warframe in its beginning years and remember Shadow Stalker? My point is there was a mini boss that would hunt you during your daily pve grind, especially during high level content...I'd love if Bungie did something like this for her everytime we used stasis in a nightfall/dungeon/raid. Like you activate her by completing a quest with stasis, and she begins to hunt you everytime you play a nightfall or dungeon or even a raid(especially because you're using stasis)... it starts with seeing a shadow in the background every other nightfall to literally having to ask for the assistance of your entire fireteam to take her on. The payout would be incredible though of course, probably a piece of artifice armor, high roll energy weapon and a possible exotic drop 🔥 Just a thought..

I love these side stories about other guardians. Is there somewhere that has all the lore arranged in a sort of reading format? also are there any novels or fan fic for D2?
This is what destiny needs more of, just not in the gear. Bring her out and show us some story. Give us a side quest with her for some cool gear or mod or something simple. Destiny has so much cool stuff that never gets shown because it is stuck in the lore behind the scenes.
This is the living embodiment of pure light and rage she hates the darkness and the darkness forces and powers so much she will literally kill any guardians that use any form of darkness
Ironically, Shayura proves Elizabeth’s point, is not Light or Dark that are reflections of our morality, it’s our actions and morality itself that define us. Shayura seems to be one of the few Guardians that still tick to the flawed view we once had on Light and Dark.

We know that he uses the darkness like a cape, he doesnt make darkness not is he the embodiment of it
Speaking of Old Chicago, I wonder if that is our next destination in Lightfall?
Probably not. A lot of the original concepts and ideas for Old Chicago ended up being repurposed for the Throne World. Or the swamp portions of it, at least.
3rd location on earth? No. Maybe a small visit like the phobos mission in the taken king or something but not a major location that'd be dumb.
Just equip a high-impact pulse and a fusion. You'll be fine.
I swear there needs to be a season devoted about shayura
Sounds cool but shit would be boring.
I imagine it would involve Shayura growing a following and we have to hunt down the individual members. I'd imagine Shin would get involved and be the one to finish off Shayura in the finale
@@Mr.Happy777 that already sounds like a long season like how season of the lost was.
Shayura is a voidwalker right? As a stormcaller Main I don’t appreciate all this cross association 😂
"She trains a gun on them and exalts her truth"... damn Bungie's is writing is just top notch
Lets face the facts.
If she ever did feel the need to hunt guardians once again and suddenly encountered 'Us' the 'Player'
Yeah she is gonna die, the last thing you want to do is mess with a God slaying guardian.
Im really hoping for this. Wanted it for a long time now.
Sounds fun until you realize those Guardians are 10x weaker than your Guardian. No thanks, the setup of this powerful Guardian having trouble with bums who would get wiped out fighting a yellow bar is not a fun idea.
@@evilformerlys4704 Yeah I almost feel bad for Shayura if she ever encountered us, she'd get smoked so hard and begin to wonder "Who the hell are you and why are you so powerful?!"
Even if she comes back as a disciple of the darkness, I hope they bring Sloane back and let us give her some redemption
"Aight I'ma watch a video about a guardian murderer"
"Damn some of this shit is sad"
Shayura's story has been amazing so far, Bungie is exploring some cool (and heavy) themes through her character.
*traveler awakens and opens* *cortana and guardians (halo) pop out*
As a warlock main. Can confirm this is typical warlock thought process.
I’m making a Destiny book of my characters adventures and the first chapter is my latest guardian being resurrected for the first time and running into a crazed Shayura who had just escaped the City. My teacher loved it. I really wish we could do 1v1 combat with each other or just Rogue Guardian NPC encounters in open world areas that’d be a sight to see. Just watching a Titan randomly load into the zone no gamertag and then he just targets the nearest player and thunder crashes them lmao or you’re on your phone afk and hear a nova bomb going off only to look up and get blown to nothingness. I dunno a couple more open world events would be nice. Anyway that’s about it thanks for the video Eva see ya.💜💫
Bro just shatterdive skate away from shayura ong
I gotta feeling that she’s going to meet a man with a golden gun
Let's hope so. The less Warlocks the better.
@@nightwing641497 wha- bruh what did we do to you?
@@DestinyNerd470 nothing against any particular Warlock, it's honestly exhausting having Warlocks in crucible. They're Bungie's favorite and it shows but in the lore they're very poorly written, even worse in game. They're the Easy-Mode for sure but so many act like it's the hardest thing to master.
@@nightwing641497 I think hunters are the most favoured. Warlocks this season are not as good as Titans and Hunters. Besides, hunters have gotten tons of broken shit in the past and it took Bungie months to nerf them.
@@redautobotsoldier3812 Warlocks have always had every advantage in PvP. From day 1 until the end of Destiny, likely.
Twab typically goes like this:
Hunters get several nerfs
Titans get several nerfs
Warlocks already have the lowest skill requirement but let's throw in a buff.
This is actually very interesting
This would make a great season or plot or someone we fight, cause we are darkness users so she would be after us
I think it would be a really cool fight or enemy to have in another guardian trying to take us out
I've never played trials so I never knew any of this. It's amazing how much time you put into these and would like to say thank you 😊
Imagine if the witness made some dark guardians disciples for a raid or dungeon. Would so pay for that
When the drifter first talks about the nature of egregore fungus he describes a hive like specimen but clearly was not hive. Maybe these stories are hinting at some further connection. if the drifter saw some kind of culmination of the darkness following races how the witness is "formless" these would be "all forming"
Watch her claim a pyramid next
…I can’t wait until Bungie/ Sony starts putting these out in Anime/ Cartoons…etc. As someone else commented earlier, they have so much to work with. So many storylines.
Imagine a series about Shin vs Yor
Like an anthology series, it would let more of the background lore be recognized
8:45 You had no other way to depict this, but it still cracks me up
Great video, didn't know anything about these characters
Would love if bungie made a spinoff game, Halo style, where we play as different guardians in different missions throughout the years of Destiny 1 and 2.
Could maybe do some of the well known npcs and how they came to be legends. Like ikora and her rampage through the crucible. Shaxx and co at the gap. Could even focus on some of the other lore bits, like the great disaster etc.
I’ve always wanted to have a story where we hunt a rogue Guardian.
Fun fact about aisha and her ghosts names
Aisha is a name of a historically important Islamic and Arabic women
Dunya simply means universe (it usually to the mortal fading life/world unlike the everlasting one)
Question why the guardian haven’t rebuild earth military can you do a video of it????
Their fireteam: *going through mental breakdowns*
Our Guardian: *Tobey Maguire dancing on top of a Calus statue*
She can try attacking my guardians, but it won't end well for her or her ghost 🗿
His Ahankara is not simply for the rule of cool like people decided it was
Evade this was great man, I'm not sure why you're not on Bungies payroll. They could really use you as a lore artist.
Sheesh, who needs Hive Light Bearers wheel Human Guardians kill each other just so much amirite???
The payout would be incredible though of course, probably a piece of artifice armor, high roll energy weapon and a possible exotic drop 🔥
Just a thought..
This. This needs to be a thing.
Do it Bungo.
Don‘t care😂 Female + warlock = Least threatening villain from either game
You know what will be really cool is in season 18 through season 19 you could get 2 new darkness sunglasses cause you have 3 light 1 would be like in season 18 maybe sad through an against the witness or the next expansion is to have a You know what will be really cool is in season 18 through season 19 you could get 2 new darkness sunglasses cause you have 3 light 1 would be like in season 18 maybe sad through an against the witness or the next expansion is to have a soon Cassava food is like scared Because savathun is scared of the witness so savva phone Could join the guardians and she could teach us how to magic and that would be the subclass called poison
"Rogue Agent Detected"
I love this game, but I wonder why most of the key characters are females, it seems unnatural.
Texts on guns are more interesting than new pvp content, it kinda says everything about that "renewed pvp focus"
Seeing everyone mention about fighting her, as her fire team come to visit to give her encouragement and consul her, makes me feel like no one actually watched the video LMAO
In my lore for my warlock, shayura will be the one that kills my warlock after years of hunting my warlock
I love these side stories about other guardians. Is there somewhere that has all the lore arranged in a sort of reading format? also are there any novels or fan fic for D2?
Sloan had/has the best as in the game. On Gawd, I would go on Titan just to look at that cake. She's the real bounty I wanted
Blame her ghost for not stopping her revives. Her ghost could’ve stopped the murder
"She would repeatedly beat a guardian to death in trials"
I don't blame her, playing trials does that to you
This is what destiny needs more of, just not in the gear. Bring her out and show us some story. Give us a side quest with her for some cool gear or mod or something simple. Destiny has so much cool stuff that never gets shown because it is stuck in the lore behind the scenes.
I always wanted to see Taken guardians and PVE battles against rogue guardians.
Kinda forgot Shayura's descent started with the red war and Ghaal stripping the light which gave her severe ptsd
I just want to see Ikora back in crucible days… just a short clip will satisfy me
If I havent unlocked the Stasis ability will she be my friend?
Now I think we Guardians are in need of a new gun. Maybe this guardian would make a fine weapon for us
Aisha is a queen and Shayura is like the evil Godmother
Lol I'd final kill a rime titan back in season of the worthy too Shayura
This is the living embodiment of pure light and rage she hates the darkness and the darkness forces and powers so much she will literally kill any guardians that use any form of darkness
Ironically, Shayura proves Elizabeth’s
point, is not Light or Dark that are reflections of our morality, it’s our actions and morality itself that define us. Shayura seems to be one of the few Guardians that still tick to the flawed view we once had on Light and Dark.
I already knew who this was once I saw most dangerous guardian escaped
So is this the same guardian who owns the original thorn and created Osteo Striga or is this different?
We share something in common. We both fucking hate Stasis.
Maybe she was just tired of Stasis Hunters in crucible.
This story is just a side story written on some armor, but it just keeps getting better and better
