Shaxx was right and thousands of guardians died. Then when we later killed Oryx we took a piece of his sword and Shaxx helped us forge a blade of our own to fight the Hive. Needless to say we were smarter than others who fucked around with Hive Stuff. We didn't get corrupted by A GOD'S CHITIN, let alone a wizard's(Looking at you Dredgen Yor)
People like drifter make me see how other races can be so terrified of guardians,sure they can harness the darkness and light but people like drifter literally devour their enemies,the guardian kills gods and takes parts of them as trophies,saint-14 went out of his way to slaughter the fallen like a wolf to sheep,zavala had the balls to talk to the empress of the cabal on equal terms,it’s insane,like Eris lost her light and she literally took the eyes off a hive and used them to see,she lost her light and still managed to not only survive in the hellmouth but also escape,a guardian quite literally became a weapon against the vex out of spite,saint-14 and Osiris made the vex fear them.
