Great finish to the rebuild. If only all bodywork repairs were done to this standard! Great content Scott, thanks for taking us along for the ride. Best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧
You Sir.. should have 1,000,000 subscribers by now.. your patience, craftsmanship and hard work is 100%. What made in the U.S.A is all about. Done right the first time, no corners taken.
Scott you never bore me and your work ethic is phenomenal, there’s not many people who can put a car back even better than when it came off the production line and in my opinion you are the best of the few repair mechanics who do a proper job
@@vehcor What you have is a good mental model of where everything goes. So you're not doing the "I forget what this part is for" thing at the end when it has to go back together/ Smart rebuild for the reasons you mentioned. Very thorough and professional.
It's a testament to Scott's skill that his vehicles sell before the final video on them. Anyone who's watched this channel knows that whatever is worked on will be put together without compromise. As soon as you see the first video if you want it start checking his site, for sure other people will be..
Well, I knew it. I said a couple of videos ago that the Enclave would be sold before the last video was uploaded and sure thing, when I checked your website, it was sold. Not that I wanted to buy it anyway, because I'm here in Australia. It came out looking good (as all your builds do), so it was a foregone conclusion that it would sell quickly. It seemed like a lot of work, but it came out like new. Looking forward to seeing what you rebuild next week. All the best from Queensland Australia.
I had it all uploaded and ready to go and a referral from a previous buyer that was a referral from another buyer called me up, drove out and drove it home. I figured I would leave it up there since everyone like to know what I sell them for. I wish he had called a couple hours sooner so I didn’t have to type all that information on the site! 😂
I found some waxy substance on the bottom of the undercarriage body panels of my 2014 Volkswagen Beetle that I used to own. I didn’t know what that stuff was, until I started watching Vehcor’s Channel, so know I know that it’s a body panel protectant; and apparently, auto manufacturers still do it.
Great job, Scott. Smart, efficient & well planned. You're 100% correct about parts, especially with GM & Ford's insane prices on lights & other items. Better fit & finish than when it was new...
Relative of mine knew an older guy that used the same universal installation tool, but if things didn't pop in he simply hit harder until the tool leaked some red fluid. Gotta be careful with it…
Someone got a heck of a deal on an Enclave. Lots of time and professionally done to an older vehicle that most would have scrapped. Hat off to you for superior workmanship.
You do such meticulous work that I actually find myself worrying about whether you can make enough money on these cars you rehabilitate. Thanks for the insights into car parts; it’s stunning how much of a car is PLASTIC, and no surprise how badly damaged they become in what used to be a fender bender. Best Regards
Years ago I bought a beater car to run back and forth to college, it was a beat up Honda that had an obvious major repair to the front passenger side, wasn't perfect because the alignment was off and adjusted all the way to correct it but it wasn't enough. After lending it to my brother he blew it up running it low on oil, we put a Jdm motor in it and he drove it for years after that. One day he got a letter from an insurance company that the car was totaled and the proper reporting wasn't done and they offered him 90% of the best possible appraisal for the car and he was able to keep it. I got back the money I paid for it and it payed for the engine and still money to spare. Best cheap car I ever bought.
Been a vampire this week.. just woke up.. im making popcorn. I think comedy this week. Scott stay safe and be well in the travels for a new build. Thank you for all you do!
The laughs were not from my face, caused by Al them installation tools. You own quite a lot of them! But a very nice build Scott. I would direct buy it from you when I lived in your neighborhood. But the Netherlands is a bit too far. Please, keep them coming, those builds. A pleasure to watch.
It doesn't have to be an expensive or exotic car for me to be blown away by the work you perform and to be entertained by the ridiculous sarcasm. Can't wait for your next car
Love watching your videos as you do awesome work. Wish these Buick’s were made a little better. My wife had one for 5 years and put 75K miles in it before it became an endless money pit with electrical problems. $53 K new and got $18K on a trade. Never again.
Another great completion video. I wonder how may are wondering about the Narnia reference? Great book series. Movies were OK also. Congrats on another successful rebuild. Thanks for sharing.
I have watched you for some time now and really appreciate your work. One thing that really amazes me and frankly makes me steam a bit is that the cars of today, are really nothing but a bunch of plastic, retaining clips and double sided tape. And yet we are charged an arm and a leg for them. This is why I refuse to buy a vehicle later than 1980 or so. I do not want plastic or a computer telling me my tire is low. Who needs it or the headaches. Regardless I appreciate your skill and knowledge in helping to keep these cars and trucks on the road.
Time lapse cleaning videos can be extremely satisfying to watch. I for one would like to see at least one on the channel just to see how well it does. Plus, it might have the added benefit of shutting up the clean freaks.
Great job, I am always impressed with the quality of work you do. To bad your shop is not close by, I would of liked to have you work on my vehicles, hard to find body shop that does quality work. That oil filter is in a horrible location, that would be a deal breaker, cause I do my own oil changes.
I started laughing when you talked about the engineer getting fired. That's so true. Where I work we had a maintenance guy do a project that saved our plant over 150k. They put him in a article for our worldwide newsletter and then fired him. Lol
You did a great job on this one. I have no complaints with Buicks. I loved 'most' Pontiacs when they were produced. I wasn't happy with the 1000s or 6000s and the Aztek was an abomination to me. Oldsmobile came in a close second and Buick's were third. GM shot both the Pontiac and Oldsmobile, leaving only Buick since the Chinese lusted after them for some reason.
Appreciate the dry humor!! I have a 2012 Enclave same color 202380 miles. Popping a P0300 but dash warning lights don't stay on. Brought it with 39000. only issues has been air conditioning components replaced under warranty and a bad fuel ignition coil. How did they paint the tri-coat color? dealer charges big bucks just to paint the hood.
Tip. If you have a magnet on a stick or just a loose magnet place it on those clips before you try to release each one. Or grab a large empty box and sit it in the trajectory of the clip or tie a string to them or even better get someone else to do it.
You make an excellent observation about auction prices, which is why I avoid auctions like my ex wife. The second hand market here in Australia is filled with unloved and unfinished projects, so why pay auction prices when you can buy them for "The wife said I've got to get rid of it" costs?
Great finish to the rebuild. If only all bodywork repairs were done to this standard! Great content Scott, thanks for taking us along for the ride. Best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧
Thanks for the confidence in my work!

They will find me eventually, I don’t promote my videos or fix cool stuff so it takes a while. Thanks for the support!
Fridays are the best! Get paid, end of the work week and Scott uploads another quality segment in the rebuilding of a boring people mover!
I Couldn't have said that better myself!!!
Yes paid day
Thanks for the support!
Scott you never bore me and your work ethic is phenomenal, there’s not many people who can put a car back even better than when it came off the production line and in my opinion you are the best of the few repair mechanics who do a proper job
You make that stuff look easy.
Of course, it's a matter of knowing the whats, wheres, and hows.
Thanks for bringing us along for the ride
You get better with a little practice! 😂

Still one of the best channels on UA-cam. Why isn't this channel over a million subs? Share these videos people!!
Why would this guy get some hate ? He showed tremendous amount of effort to show his skills for free - keep up the good work bro

G,day from central west NSW 👍🏼😆
And G'day from the entire world... I mean Perth to the rest of you :)

Your rebuilds are incredible. Who cavity waxes the inner voids any more. True quality craftsmanship. I await your videos!

Hello from 🇬🇧🏴.Love your humour towards the haters.
Great job, Scott. Smart, efficient & well planned. You're 100% correct about parts, especially with GM & Ford's insane prices on lights & other items. Better fit & finish than when it was new...
I would love a video of you cleaning parts!!! I love watching grass grow and paint dry. Thank you for all the great videos!!!!
Someday I will post a video of me cleaning stuff in full PPE just to mess with everyone!

Scott, your audio of the snap clips clicking on full-auto is music to the ears. You are a true Foley artist.
Those edits take quite a bit of time but they are fun.
Yes!!!! Love the Progress. Fridays are the best. Thank you for the excellent content.

Consumers wouldn’t be willing to pay the cost of a car that doesn’t have this amount of plastic content. It would be significantly more expensive.
You deserve 10x as many upvotes for narration of all that effort. BTW those are grocery bag hooks in the rear interior trim.
A lot of work to fix this car Right lots of details good to see someone who cares to do things Right
Sold out!
He didn’t even paint the brake rotors, lol. Great work Scott.
Outstanding job as always. I never tire of what’s in my console. Cheers 🍻
We own a 2009 Enclave, so was really interesting to watch you rebuild this one. Great job and thanks.👍👍
you make it look easy Your rebuilds look better than factory thanks for bringing us along
Thanks for the support!
You rock it. If I ever wreck a car, I'm calling you. 12:08 The "right" tool is whatever works.
Haters can say what they want...but Scott knows how to make money 💰💰... Nice job Scott

I really enjoyed this video, both seeing how the work is done and the humor. Thanks!
I must say, your work is high quality, my man!
So many tabs and slots and clips. Amazing! Thanks!
Hey there Scott great build .
Thanks!
Have a good weekend Scott.
Thanks, you too!
You make it look SO easy putting this car back togeather, although your body work is flawless.....
It’s pretty easy, and I like putting them back together.
Another first-class job Scott , Not the best-looking car but certainly not the worst.
Thanks, agreed!
Been a vampire this week.. just woke up.. im making popcorn. I think comedy this week. Scott stay safe and be well in the travels for a new build. Thank you for all you do!

Maybe you could soak up the hatter’s tears with CrossFit chalk.
Excellent job as always. Thanks for sharing
Great job - and I love watching your builds - as much for your dry wit as your craftsmanship - thank you for sharing! 👍😍
Looks great, learn a few things to help as I maintain our Outlook.
your vids with commentary ...THE BEST!
OH! great work too

Nice job (like all the others)
👍. Saw a couple Honda's in the shop and fingers crossed, we get to see another project soon.
The Acura is as close as you are going to get for awhile. Hondas have been crazy high in the auctions lately.
Just an idea for content, show the work the painting gnomes do and what goes into matching paint. Another great video as always
wow its already sold ¹ of corse it would be it was repair by a pro; you are good at what you do vehcor

I get the feeling the gnome didn't forget his bumper installation tool, he just didn't wanna get yelled at for using it incorrectly. Lmao

That Enclave is so very nice! I am sure this one sells immediately!
Love your attitude!

I think the body design engineers all used to work for LEGO! Nice job figuring out all the pieces of the puzzle!
Another great build Scott. Nice work
Great job Scott !
Absolutely superb job keep up the amazing work kind regards to you Mark from Billericay in the U.K. 🇬🇧
Fantastic work Scot, it looks like a new car!

Another one wrapped up! 👍🏽👌🏽🇺🇸
👍🏻 on to the next one!
Once again. Nice job Scott.
LOL you make it look so easy and you are right the auctions are nuts what`s next ?

I am stunned that you resisted the urge to polish the soot from the inside of those dirty exhaust tips.
Ayyy, and a clear title too. Well played.
i think the guy who picked the spot for the low-pressure ac port also picked the spot for the bose amplifier
I think the "mystery hook" is for the cargo cover.
Scott that mystery hook is for a cargo net.
