Those are sweet. the blue looks just like an Esquire build I did recently. great colour choices 👍🎸 Count the SQUIRE/SQUIER/ESQUIRE typos that will appear in the comments. 🤪
Squire was a string company that fender acquired many years ago. The brand name was already owned by fender therefore, when they launched the official MIJ Sqites in the early 80s they used a brand name they already owned in order to distinguish between the new budget range and fenders that moved their entire production for a couple of years.
Squier invented a machine to wind violin strings first, they became very popular and he added other strings to his inventory his father was a famous violin maker

Squier was a company that started in 1890 in Michigan, making stringed instruments and strings. Mr. VC Squier came to the USA from England! Fender went to Squier when they needed a brand new string type for their new electric bass and then acquired the Squier name in 1965 before deciding to use the name for their Asian-made budget line of guitars from 1982. Hooray for Squier!
Road to one million followers! Who does not appreciate giving affordable yet decent equivalents of their already wicked hand-picked custom shop and kind enough to demo them at their best potential? I'm buying one of these classic vibes soon! Only from Andertons! Greetings from Canada! 🇨🇦
Wow that black Esquire without the pickguard is awesome. That should be a model on its own (minus the drill holes) in black or gold or purple, and if price allows matching head stock color. Oh almost forgot, how are we doing on the Andertons Guitar tab book, would love to have Volume 1 for Christmas.
Ther's a brilliant video on You Tube on the history of Squire....an English violin maker that emigrated to the states in the 1890's that then concentrated on string making etc etc....the guitars look great.
Just bought one of these in the January sale for £299. Never had a squier before. thought I'd take a punt as I have only heard good things about them. When the guitar arrived the saddles were sky high, neck was swept back and the neck had a bow in it that Robin Hood would be proud of. At first I thought I had bought a Friday ringer. Once I had removed the neck, removed the shim in the heel the factory had put in ,straightened the neck.. truss rod was loose. Changed the strings set the the action I can honestly say I am blown away with how well it plays and the fret work is incredible, no sprouts no sharp edges no high frets (I like my action real low). Only the nut to sort.. Still sticks a little.. ok in standard tuning but sticks a bit in eb...And the sound is amazing. By far best £300 I have spent on guitar gear in 27 years.
Just received the apple green tele Tuesday 25th MAY ‘21. Awesome. Absolutely delighted. As good if not better than many of the expensive Fender teles I’ve got. 💚💚😀😀
Love your videos. It should be noted that the Esquire was the very first iteration of Leo’s creation. Next was the special order Double Esquire… a two pickup version which quickly became the Broadcaster. Gretsch Company promptly sued Fender because Gretsch had a drum kit called the Broadcaster. In 1951 this guitar had no name. Pragmatic Leo simply took a razor blade to the waterslide, removing the word Broadcaster. In 1952, the guitar became the Telecaster, and the rest is of course, history. Of the countless companies and individuals who submit videos on music instruments, Anderson’s remains the top of the heap. Great job, all!
JJ cale vibes from that intro...anyway squier are and still my favourite so far...no need to break the bank...also it's high brands killer...the orange one ohhh my god makes me vibe like a classic vibe 😍😉

Loving the recent Squier collaborations! They all look killer! The only thing I personally don’t like about the CV’s is that thick sticky lacquer on the necks. I would love to see some classic vibe specs with the satin roasted necks similar to the new contemporary range. A nice classic / modern hybrid.
Right? I have a CV custom tele and the neck had too much laquer, I finally sanded it by myself. I might sand the body too, but just because I like satin overall 😂

@@Diax1324 nice set :D I like those pickups a lot, do you have any pictures somewhere? Or a video demo in your channel? In my case I bought a SD SH1 with a split (neck) and a baja tele bridge pickup. 'Esquire' is an antiquated honorarium given to the landed gentry (i.e. rich 'gentlemen') in England which dates back as far at the 16th Century. It is still sometimes used (in the U.S.) to denote someone who is an attorney (Esq.). 'Squier' is the last name of Victor Carroll (V.C.) Squier, who opened his first shop - which dealt in violin building and repairs - in Battle Creek, Michigan in 1890. The company later became known for manufacturing violin strings, which then expanded into making strings for other instruments. Squier started supplying strings to Fender in the 1950s, became an official equipment manager for Fender in 1963, and finally was bought by Fender in early 1965, shortly before CBS acquired Fender later that same year. Fender started their budget guitar line 'Squier' in 1982. The instruments were originally produced in Japan, but later they were made in Korea, China and Indonesia. A very small amount of Squiers were produced in Mexico in the mid-90s. So, no 'Esquire' and 'Squier' are not related - not even distantly or even in the Fender corporation itself, since the Fender 'Esquire' was first introduced in 1950, 15 years before Fender bought the Squier company. Plus, you'd think the different spelling of the words themselves would be enough to figure it out!
Squier (Jerome) was a famous British instrument builder from the 19th century. He immigrated to the US where he did most/all his work. His work is actually worth a LOT of money in the orchestra strings area. His son (or was it grandson?) ended up making strings mostly and Fender used Squier strings on Fender guitars in the 50's and part of the 60's. That's why Fender bought Squier completely for the strings and string manufacturing ability. They retired the name until 1982 when they resurrected the name for their budget line of guitars.
If you could add the postage price onto a guitar's page on your website, for foreigners, it'd be great. Putting things into the basket and going to check out every time to check postage is a bit of a faff.
@Mark Seymour With the British VAT. You need to go to check out (having logged in three times to get past the "We're tuning up" error) to get the price + postage.
I gotta have that green Tele machine! Danish Pete slugs coffee while the Captain solo! 😁 The third position sounds far better with an Arlo or an Elrod mod. The Esquire with the plate off looks incredibly cool! It’s like a killer axe!
Squier was a STRING brand around years and years before Leo started Fender, and when the New post CBS Fender wanted to create a budget line they Used the String company name that they had acquired. I might not remember this part completely right but Squier made Violins that are still used in Orchestras today and transitioned to strings, was then acquired by Leo Fender pre CBS, or was folded in during the CBS era.

If you want a sound !ike position 1 on the Esquire, w out the tone, just go from 250 to 500 K on the pots. 125 K isn't enough for full spectrum loading. W 500 K pots you can dial in the Z that really brings the p-ups to life.
Tasteful jamming you guys sounds great 👍
Just ordered one in olive green! Can't wait! Hope everything with taxes will be OK, fingers crossed.
Please bring these back in stock!
The esquire without the pick guard looks amazing. I would get one and remove the switch. Just a tone and volume. Gold and black amazing looking
Very Nice!! Fender is doing things right with the Squire line.
It's about time you guys put up Tele content! I miss these videos!
It's been a while but always have love for Teles!
I wasn't trying to be a dick about it. It'd just be a nice addition.
I gotta have that green Tele machine! Danish Pete slugs coffee while the Captain solo! 😁 The third position sounds far better with an Arlo or an Elrod mod. The Esquire with the plate off looks incredibly cool! It’s like a killer axe!
Of course the two best colors are Anderton's limited run. Seriously gorgeous in green and orange.
Great groove!!
Nice guitars guys!!!
We love a Classic Vibe!
That green OMG
Excellent guitars especially for the money !!!
RIP Pete’s elbow💜
Send all the purple love we can!
I just hope the green tele is available again on the website!
i believe squier was first used by fender for a string line of theirs in the late 60s [jimmy hendrix ] .love those new guitars , played a pair of original 1957 esquires for my career ,now play a squier 50s esquire & do not miss the originals THANKS.
Those limited éditions squier are really great! You should do a limited run of "artist signature" like hendrix (monterey), Clapton, etc...
Hardest decision of my life choosing between the Green of these and the classic vibe Danish Pete purple. Went with the purple in the end for that maple neck 😍
That green Tele is sensational!
