Thanks, my friend. I can’t wait to post a video for 1984. In the coming months, hopefully. Be well.

Hi Luong, hope you’re having a great day! Thanks for dropping by with a nice comment. Happy that you mention this title track from the album; another listen to this record has to be high on my list to appreciate this track. Sometimes I need to drop the needle & listen to every track. B-Movie’s B side is a good track & I think it was also released as the main title with another remix (probably the same year). I keep passing up their LP with these 2 tracks in the record store; I may have to “pull the trigger” & pull it out before it’s gone. That happens to me from time to time. Appreciate your dedication to my channel & hopefully another video to follow. Stay tuned !!

Great selection as always, very jealous of those electro and funk records - they aren't so common in the UK. It's great to hear some perspective from people who remember these songs from back in the day, as a younger fan I can't imagine how mind blowing these tracks were in 82. They're still great today.

Jack, appreciate your comment as always! You said it… these tracks were “Mind Blowing”; especially at 12 years old in 1982 to say the least. The UK had released several of the Electro classics on the “21 Records” label & the “Electro Street Tracks” series & accompanying spin-off series (editions). To this day, I still don’t own any plus no sightings in my local record shops. Your comment is very pleasing, & inspires me to do more. Very, very collectible & rising in prices each year (it seems) for Old School Electro essentials. At this time, all the Electro vinyl rarities in my Want List are too expensive right now. It’s just the “luck of the draw” or the right box in the record store. Stay tuned for another video coming soon. A HUGE THANKS !!!

Raju, so good to hear from you again my friend. The Electro vibe in ‘82 was so huge, & it was FUN to share these classic records; especially 12” singles. Stay tuned for the next video!

Man Parrish brings back memories as Boogie Down (Bronx) was the ringtone on my old Nokia ps one of my fav electro tunes has to be Palmerforce Two - Street Wars

Hello my friend, that's some true Old School Electro dedication with Boogie Down Bronx. Actually that track was the very 1st song (around '84 if correct) I heard from Man Parrish. Another gem I would play over & over again. Later, I played "Hey There Homeboys" from '85 and "Brown Sugar" from '87. Then a DJ introduced the iconic "Hip Hop, Be Bop" released in '82 which just blew me away. I couldn't believe a masterpiece like that was created in the early years of Electro. Pure talent in my opinion! Palmerforce Two - "Street Wars" is a rarity for sure. I have this track on "The Bass That Ate Miami" various artist Bass LP from '88. But I don't have the single; I'm sure it's worth some money these days. Again, I appreciate your comment and please stay tuned for the next video coming soon (maybe it will be a surprise). Keep Groovin'

Hey Trevor! Cheers to you in the U.K. I forgot to mention in the video that the standard U.S. 12” copy of Pack Jam was actually the very 1st “Electro” single that I ever purchased in ‘82. I can’t tell you how many times I played this song with my ears close to the speakers. Thanks for watching again, my friend!

Another awesome video. Speaking of bargain bins, I pulled the 12” promo of Stevie Nicks’ “Stop Dragging My Heart Around” for a buck. I went home and checked Discogs and was floored when I saw it going for $50. What country was your copy of “I Ran” from? The only extended version I could find of it was the German 12” - it clocked in at 5 minutes.

My 80's retro brother from another mother... so pleased to hear from you again. Now that duet with Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty just so happens to be my favorite track (especially rock duet) of all-time. Congrats on an outstanding vinyl find; I would have no idea of the value without checking Discogs. Thanks again for your comment and I appreciate your dedication to my channel all these years.
My 12" copy of "I Ran" was pressed in the U.K. I think is was a misprint on the time... actually longer than 5 minutes. I see the German copy (jacket) is colored red. A cool copy but for a hot price. They don't come cheap anymore. Always the best of luck tracking down a German copy for a US price. Take care, my friend and stay tuned!
