100% agree, Robert. When you here a song from the 80’s era, it just sparks a great memory from that time. You can always put yourself in the exact time & place when a certain song is playing. Good times!!

Hi Jeff, you are very welcome! Thanks for coming onboard my channels for the 80’s vibe. They just don’t make music like this anymore. Stay tuned for more…

I got that Ministry album for Christmas (a new repress), you're totally right about side one - it's such a good lineup of songs! I also recently got a Ministry compilation called Trax Rarities which has a lot of live stuff and unreleased demos from their early '80s new wave era, love that. And very jealous of the italo disco records as always.
Did you know Martyn Ware from Heaven 17 / Human League does a podcast now? Where he talks to various other people from the '80s synthpop and new wave scene. I've been getting into it a lot lately, it's called Electronically Yours and it's really interesting to hear about these records from the people who made them.
Great video as always klassicjam, looking forward to the next one!

Congrats on your Ministry album, Jack !! Nice Christmas gift;especially a must-have New Wave classic. Side 1 is so killer - a powerful blend of New Wave goodness.
Thanks for recommending the podcast. I’ll definitely check it out - something I would really enjoy. Need to learn more about this era, and a great podcast like this is beneficial. I got a few records, CD’s, & tapes for my next video. Hopefully post soon. ‘Till next time…

Hi mate, some top tunes you showed there.
Juan Atkins Model 500 produced some brilliant Electro / Techno tracks. The instrumental of No U.F.O`s is amazing. It sounded like it was from the future when is was released back in the 1980`s and it still sounds fresh today.
I know that Drexciya and Underground Resistance aren`t Synth Pop or New Wave but they took some of their their influence from those genres so i thought i`d give them a mention .
Drexciya are a Detroit Electro / Techno artist thet has been producing for many years now. Do you have any bits by them ? Their track Birth Of New Life is a classic melodic Electro instrumental. Also another Electro / Techno artist out of Detroit is Underground Resistance. Do you have anything by them ? Their track the Final Frontier is regarded as one of the best Electro tracks to come out of Detroit.
I really want to get a 12" copy of the Matt Johnson THE THE - This Is The Day. Back in the 1980`s i bought a mint copy from a seller in the magazine Record Collector but i stupidly sold it years later and now its hard getting hold of a copy with a mint sleeve and vinyl. I`ve had that on my wants list for years.
Have you got the 12" single Infected by THE THE ? That`s an excellent track with a couple of excellent remixes.
I don`t know if you`re aware but late last year Yello re-issued their first four or five albums complete with original 12" singles. Each release features all of the original art work and the 12" singles also come complete with original 12" mixes and sleeve art work. They are a good way to get hold of mint copies of some of their 12" singles.
If you like Ministry do you also like any bits by Front 242 ? Their track Commando is a really good electronic track that has a similar feel to some of Ministry`s productions. Front 242`s biggest track is probably Headhunter. That`s quite a good 12". I`m sure you know that track because it was a big club track in North America back in the day.
    Thanks for sharing.
    Happy collecting.
    Cheers from England.

Thanks mate! No UFO’s on the original 12” single would be a gem to own. That’s the advantage of owning an original… just flip it over & play the instrumental version. I’m pretty sure I have this track now on a various artists record.
I didn’t know that about Yello - sounds like a nice collectible. Yeah, Front 242’s material is amazing… what a unique sound! Thanks for watching my video, & appreciate your comments as always.

And Yes I do have “Infected” by The The in my collection now. I picked it up from a big record store in Houston last year.
