Bugs is an awesome person and we will all miss him here. Straight up hard working man.
I won’t 😉
Looks like its an end of an era for the old boys now for the new bloods to come in
I seen on the other videos that Ryan would get irritated because bugs would be in a bad mood.or being rushed to build the little house on his new property. I would quit too if I was being exposed on UA-cam.
I won’t lol
@TiffanySmith-ed2ljWow! Bold statement! I like Bugs, Ryan and the rest of the crew. Ryan is one heck of a boss. Who do you know that pays for their employees lunches? Pays them even when out sick? Pays them to go out on a boat and have a mandatory fun day? Let's his employees borrow equipment for their side jobs including Bugs! Come on! Bugs and Ryan both are great at what they do. It is just what it is. If the world had more bosses like Ryan it would be a better place.
Ray seems like the guy who’d run through a wall for you, as his boss.
It’s a respectful relationship where seems like he doesn’t have to be on his “p’s and q’s” at all times and can work, relax and form a bond with a hard working boss!

Going to miss Buggs. Always on time, yea he was grumpy but you got to give him credit he’s older and keeping up with the kids who lack experience can be difficult for him. Someone should of been shadowing him so he could step back and just oversee the guys.
He was really good teaching ray how to finish or edge bugs probably wouldn't be so angry all the time if he could help other people do the the job instead of him being the oldest guy and still having to do the most
Someone has to pay for someone just over watching the guys and sitting back. That is why Ryan is there.
Buggs looks like a cool guy, maybe because we don’t see the whole thing they see in real time. Ryan probably doesn’t want to show the bad side of people on youtube. At least not without explaining the issue. That could be said the same for Ryan and everyone else as well.
even if they could afford to pay bugs to be a guy who just sits back and watches over people..... some older people have ways of doing things and wont just sit and watch people doing things, it has to be 100% their way or its not good enough. and bug's seems like the guy who wouldnt just be able to stand and watch.

My dad owned his own construction business and i watched him deal with this for years. Workers came and went for years, it's just part of the business. He had his own "bugs" and they separated a couple different times but worked together for 20 years. I learned so much from him (his name was Ray), and he passed just a few years ago. My dad and i still talk about him often. Good luck Ryan, i know you will be blessed with another good worker soon.

I have almost the exact same story myself. The guy still works for my dad decades later. When my sister and I were babies and my mom would bring us to the job site where my dad was working, the guy would push us around in our stroller when my parents were busy talking. I think from that point on, my dad knew the guy was a keeper and has always done anything he can to accommodate for him.

Although Bugs is not a man of many words, he did mention on multiple occasions how thankful he was for Ryan, him being his boss and also his friend for 25+ years. Not only did he mention that multiple times but his attitude towards Ryan’s business really showed how grateful he has been; 99% of the time (too)early at work and rarely too late, always helped Ryan with loading the trucks or other things before they left for a job WITHOUT Ryan having to ask for it, when people were sleeping or playing on their phones while waiting for Ryan to give instructions it was always Bugs that was looking for more work to do instead of waiting, bringing homemade food and beverages for Ryan and the rest, doing or thinking about work related things only Ryan and him would do. When Ryan sent Bugs out for a solo job he knew Bugs would take care of it, he knew Bugs was trustworthy and all those traits are really rare and hard to find.

Bugs was a good worker that always showed up, hopefully next season you have some discipline for those that show up late or call in.
It's A very sad day when one of your best workers leaves. Best of luck to Buggs, wish him all the best.
It's a sad day we are all going to miss Bugs and loved seeing Jade in the vids! Not sure my comment are showing can someone reply pls,Cheers Guys TU
Going to miss Bugs, the last OG of the Victory crew. Just re-watched the Christmas dinner video with the guy from last year and he said he really enjoyed working for you. Sad that things have changed since then. Really hope we see him back someday, but if we don't I wish him the best. Always thought he'd be your ride or die until the end.
All your guys are great. You have an amazing group of employees to say the least.. It’s awesome to see Ray stepping up and taking initiative lately. Sad to see Bugs and Jade go but everyone has their own stuff going on in life and that is what it is. He’ll be back one day maybe when things settle down.
Proud of you for taking the high road and being positive versus easily choosing pessimism in this situation. I’m 25 and so far I’m learned that people are the most difficult aspect to life and also the most important. Always choose positivity when dealing with people and other because it is a choice at the end of the day and it’s your choice. It’s good to smile too. As dumb as it sounds it actually makes a difference. God bless man and don’t fret, the smoke will clear soon.
Zeus bless!
It's sad that bugs had to go, but as a fellow 'boss' I know this happens a lot! As long as it's nothing personal it should work out. But good luck for the future.
Keep positive I've been watching you for a very long time God has got your back your a great man and a fantastic father/husband and employer/friend keep moving forward and remember God has a plan for all of us just have to follow. Have a great day and God bless all who reads this.
Give the man more credit. God isn’t real
Bugs is from a different generation. He is the first one there every morning and absolutely, the hardest working on the whole crew. Crochety or not, he will be missed. Lets get Bugs his own UA-cam channel!
+Oh, you have to do a Bugs montage!
38:05 Tripped me out for a second.😂That driveway resembled your customer's.
Idk why, Eric just walking off away from you as you were talking to him was pretty funny haha😂
A string of great luck, a good year, new land and great content. A little bit of maintenance issues at the end of the year isn't uncommon. Bless you and the crew be safe.
Ryan you can tell the mixed emotions in your voice losing a good employee and friend - price of being a business owner stay positive
Great acting! Give the guy an Oscar!
Employees are not friends…
@@Douggydrealeryou've got no friends 😂
hey Ryan, i'm sure I'm too late but you can also use steel wool in the holes where the mice are coming in, with the caulk and hydraulic to concrete.
Lol 😂big ray oh my goodness then Ryan throws the mice. I’m dieing look on rays face😂😂😂😂
NO!!! NOT BUGS.....ONLY GUY WITH A WORKING BRAIN
Would hate to say I could see it, but things do happen in life and you just have to move on. Good luck to Bugs and can't wait to see what's next for the crew. I'm sure in the end, everything will work out for the best.
Gonna miss Bugs. Please let him know that all of us will miss seeing him
💯🤔 he'll be back it's just for Ratings it's all staged Ryan is a very smart guy
I agree,Ryan and crew can handle the little bit left for season so bugs is done for year and just making it a scene to get some ratings which is cool
Don’t leave bugs
You only see what he shows
@@Hometownsqaures 💯🤣 they're both afterwards kicking back and laughing we should start placing odds
Is bugs up for hire 😳 I would probably give him a crew of his own to keep him Happy!
Really appreciated that last bit of the video, interesting POV of the business owner.
keep it up ryan! only way forward. both bugs and daryl are good people, you've definitely learned from them, so has your crew. it's your job to pass that knowledge on, and keep the guys around long enough for it to matter. (not that you didnt have knowledge before)
Sorry to see Bugs go... great guy... we'll definitely miss him and Jade... hopefully we'll see him come work a few times with you...
when I hit retirement age like Bugs I thought well I'm not ready, I'm still in good health I'm going to keep working. the problem is things that you use to except and just let roll off your back start to make you think man I don't need this stress. plus you are also coming to terms with the fact of just how many years do I have left and every day on the job is one less day to enjoy life. I went from planning to work another 18 months to turning in my retirement notice in 3 months probably the best decision I ever made.
you skill and patience as a boss and business owner is priceless to me /watching how you deal with the workers and customers teaches me how to be a successful business owner/the negative energy is everywhere /we are all dealing with this mess/thank god you bought that 2nd trailer
1:43 mate the transition from the cat to the bin looked like you threw the cat in the bin 😂😂
ray is my favorite. so funny never in a bad mood always on time to work never late his smile is so addiction
My wife and I are going to miss Bugs. He is and was your best worker by far. We've been watching for a couple years now, you having to tell your workers what to do ALL the time really annoys us to no end. Bugs was always one step ahead of you and that is how it's suppose to work. I was a supervisor for 25 years and ran a tight ship. Every morning you show up and it's the same thing the trucks are not ready for the day. The guys should empty the trucks and straighten them for the next day before they go home and not have to be told to do it. Hopefully all be good in the future. Love to you and your family and Annie from NJ.
That's why some people stay workers their whole lives, no motivation to improve. It's like they're too used to being micro managed so don't want to risk doing things before being asked and doing it wrong
@southjerseymountain .... BINGO, .... You are VERY observant !!!! Sounds like watching the children loaf-off, WASN'T Bug's favorite way to spend the day .................... FUNNY how us FANS can see better than those that are involved .....

It’s somewhat ironic that Eric and Francisco have started businesses on the side and it was Bugs who remained a worker his whole life. Even with that work ethic.
Bugs will be back. He is a old head and needs time to calm. Best of luck to everyone!
Seems like things with Bugs were brewing for a while. I would consider extending the olive branch and having a discussion with him and figuring out what’s going on. You benefit greatly having him on board, but it’s gonna require some change in attitude. He is the type of fella who should be setting an example for the rest of the crew, and if he can’t get himself in order, it will be better in the long run for your company if he doesn’t come back.
He does set A example. He’s the only guy that doesn’t have to be told what to do. And he’s surrounded by dummys. Who’ve been doing the job for years and still can’t set forms.
Can't teach an old dog new tricks
If he's not violent or dangerous to others, you just laugh when he's rude and deal with it. Sometime one to one you deal with the spiritual problem behind the attitude. Part of his issue is that he's a concrete pro, and he wants it known when he's outside his comfort zone that he's not responsible. So he gripes.
You should have promoted him to foreman.
I just hired bugs to work for me.
One of the bad things about replacing bugs is you have to hire two people to replace him maybe three thank you
Bugs you are one of the reason i continue to watch ryans channel
You will be surely missed!!!!!
I'm bummed out about bugs leaving.. I hope things work out over the winter and both of you put your emotions aside. Bugs will always have his fam here. I wish nothing but love and happiness and good health for bugz.
Bugs is a legend always and forever!! Ima miss jade and bugs! Hope to seem them again soon😢
Good luck to Bugs & Jade in their future endeavors
Frank and Eric can give af bout that concrete , they just work there lol you can see it in there face they’re low key excited they didn’t have to pour love this channel
Kinda Crazy, was watching an old video and I think this is the day my family and I were driving back to Chicago and stopped to eat at 52's and I met you there....Really enjoy the content keep making that eassssyyyy money!
Despite whatever happened just hope bugs a happy healthy life. God bless
If I was mid 60s & still doing concrete, id be a grumpy dude as well. Hope everything works out 🙏🏼
Put Annie in the shed for a few days, that'll take care of the mice! 😸🐭
Ryan.... You are a great employer!!!! You make the hard work lighter and create a good atmosphere. More companies need to watch these videos to see how relations should be between the boss and his workers. Kudos to you Ryan, I really enjoy your videos because I'm learning from you!!!
Good luck Buggs. I’ll miss seeing you and hearing your quick wit comebacks on the videos
Bugs gave the most causal notice I've ever seen in my life
