Knowing that Bugs is leaving brings tears to my eyes. I'm 72, so maybe I understand him better. He is so serious about the work. ... always a professional and always dependable. I know he's not the funny guy that some of the others are, but his work ethic is so impressive. I know we only see part of your work day, so we don 't know the underlying issues. Still, he is a huge asset to your channel. so sad to see him go,

Really hope Ryan an Buggs have a good talk and split ways peaceful. Would be nice to see Buggs come back at least maybe part time next season. Buggs probably needs a break. He’s a very good reliable worker.
At one point in the video Ryan looks up and 3 workers are watching him work, meanwhile Buggs is staying busy the entire time. Hard to replace that.

Man I feel for Buggs, watching these videos he's the oldest guy on the job and he does the most work by far. These young guys are brown nosing Ryan while bugs is literally filling the skid loader 90% by himself. I don't blame him one bit for wanting to leave. Ryan should really talk to him though that is the worst of all having a loyal person that's been by your side forever and you just dismiss them so easily. That's brutal.

I hope one of the youngins watched Bugs do the curb work. He’s so smooth and precise and everything looks straight as can be for free hand. His work ethic, second to none. A little grumpy at times but he’s from a whole different generation and upbringing where everything was serious. Gon miss that ol dude. God bless him.🙏🏾

He does great work although those curbs are not hard to do. I think his step set ups that he always does will be the part that is going to slow them until someone steps up that Ryan can trust to do them. Also Bugs did some winter work for him on the snow - that should not be to hard to replace if someone can get up early and learn it.
There's 1000 guys in his area that could roll a curb. Milwaukee has alot of concrete contractors

Buggs is cut from a different cloth. Old school hardworker. I remember he mentioned that he was planning on having already retired, but decided to stay on for another year or so.
I think he just needs that long deserved break. He'll be missed, but I have no doubts you'll both stay in touch.

As Ryan said before, there’s always something to do.
Hopefully Ryan and Bugs continue to work amicably to the end and shake hands and both move on to their next chapter still on good terms.

Man... Nearly every video I've watched, bugs seems to out work everybody! Never is a time when he doesn't have a tool in his hand, and he's always looking to help around the job site. Really going to miss him! Hope has a going away party and maybe even a little bonus $ gift for his hard work. (I will even donate if possible)
I get both sides of why Bugs is leaving. But there’s no way these other guys will be able to do what Bugs does. They won’t be able to set up steps on their own, roll curb etc. Ryan knows that I’m sure. Just more work for him for rest of season. He’ll try to teach them I’m sure but they don’t have the want to. Francisco’s a good laborer, I hope he can step up. Eric is a joker. Tino not dependable. All of them are used to being babysat. He’s gotta find one good guy over the winter.

I totally get why bugs is leaving, imagine yourself working hard while the rest lays down or acts a fool and stil get compliments, also feel like Ryan was mocking him a little to much the past couple of months

Bugs is that guy keeping things flowing doing all the little things that go unnotice. Cleaning up after himself while moving on to the next step at the same time is such a time saver than no one else on the crew seems to do. They forget things, lose things, can't find things. All sorts of time wasting things that will cause a day to drag on and take a lot longer than it should have

Really admire your professionalism you have with Bugs. It's nice to see someone like you two who have worked together a long time, and be able to recognize when things aren't working and be able to part ways in a mature manner, no bridges burnt. As I get older, it's further reinforced to me the importance of that.
Professionalism ? He kept pushing the issue he was going to fire bugs if his attitude didn’t change when he as a boss should of approached bugs to see what was the problem with him. As an owner you should be the one approaching your employees if you know something in their behavior has changed or there is tension. You feel the energy when something isn’t feeling right. Bugs is very serious and professional to have to deal with ur boss goofing off here and ther the other guys getting paid as you but doing mediocre work and showing up late and on top off that lose your image because your boss is recording every moment you make an error for his benefit and you have no say any person that knows their worth and is a mature man would walk away from any job like this . As a female I don’t understand how a man would accept to be recorded by their Male boss while at work and that you have no say on the editing process a real man doesn’t really go in for that once in while ok for Marketing or something even company events but every day nope never seen that I only seen this from young kids in their 16-22 years of age . Bugs don’t play hes too hard working and really good man to get caught up in this drama show he can get a job anywhere and be able to not worry of his boss talking behind his back and hearing it in the videos and putting up with being filmed 24/7 Ryan is goof and Eric’s Zaddy

Don't know if it's the case or not, but unless the guys are benefiting financially from the videos with a percentage% share or something similar of the sort, I think it's not ok & would go as far as saying I agree with the 'exploiting' stance in above comments^^. Especially for those who were already with Ryan, (like Bugs), before he transitioned into full time/daily vlogging. Even more credit to Bugs again there for burying his head to it & just carrying on working as per norm, & even getting somewhat involved in it all with live sessions etc when you can obviously tell it is not up his alley. Real great quality man there.
It's a massively tall order from any boss, especially to those who value their privacy. You would very much expect that there would be financial contribution/incentive to the guys getting filmed every day, but I'm not sure that's happening... I would love to be corrected on that. (Getting taken out to lunch, or paid for days off etc, does not count towards that).
Not a great model of how to go about operating a business at all, both as a contractor & as a UA-camr. It is a bit of a shame..

yes, I always have the same thing in my response because I have dyslexia and never had English language lessons at school,
so I always have to translate everything with Google Translate.
and it is not easy for me to get it out there the way I want it to be.
For example, I know what I want to say and how English should sound (in my head) ant I can also pronounce it,
but I don't know how to write it, although it's getting better and better, but still.
On the other hand, the language must also remain somewhat understandable, of course haha

Imagine working with a concrete crew with absolutely no yelling and 100% positivity? Well that never happens. I can only imagine what's going on behind the scenes. I have worked with hard working old schoolers like Bugs, and many Tinos in my day to sense what's going on. Rather than typing out some 'probably's, thinking I know everything, I'll just say Bugs will do fine on his own, and business will go on. Keep grooming Big Ray and trained up, so that even if he doesn't pursue the concrete trade and sticks it out like Bugs did, he'll still go far in life in whatever he wants to do as he's still young.

Last few day's Bugs seems much more happy and relaxed ,easier to get along with everyone. Ryan , sometimes a good talk solves a lot of problems . He's a great worker ,but more importantly he a fine person .

Watching this show today knowing your losing Bugs makes me frown. Your young crew being so carles to leave a soda in the path of a possible spill on your fresh concrete. Standing around all the time. Needing told to do things that should be a no brainier. As I see Bugs working in the back ground. I know this situation because I worked concrete for 30 years. Honestly Ryan, I hope not to get blocked from your channel. I love watching you all. My opinion, unwarranted, is that Eric is your weak link. Who knows though. We see 5%, of what goes on. You treat your guys like GOLD which is admirable but there has to be some type of seniority incentive. I can understand, to a degree, Bugs getting frustrated though. Especially, because he demonstrates punctuality, hard work and pride in his work day in and day out.
Regardless, I love following along! Who would’ve thought a concrete company would bring me weekly entertainment?!

Money isn't the problem they grow apart and ryan would like to move forward
What they need to do is have a good heart to heart talk. Bugs can still go somewhere else but he could probably retire now as it is. If I were him and I had enough money I'd probably just take some easy on the body part time job and enjoy his time he has. Still I think they could resolve their issue. Then bugs can focus more on his chickens and garden and whatnot that brings him joy.
Maybe Buggs will be back next season. Good man. Great concrete talent.

Going to be tough without bugs ! He is your go to guy to do any kind of forming like steps and stoops , free handing the curbs on the side of the driveways !! He will be hard to replace ! The other guys dont seem to have the smarts to do what Bugs does ! The younger guys seem like they would be happy sitting all day rather then working !

Man those gnats were absolutely crazy this year...just terrible and frustrating, those bugs won't be missed but our Bugs definitely will.
