Well thank you for this! Turned out well and I still use it to this day. Very rewarding building a piece of gear that would otherwise cost a few hundred (if you have a 3d printer of course).
@@hobbybuilt yeah i suppose that not having the 3d printer is the biggest bottle neck in this project, but for the money that you save on lighting gear one could justify the purchase of a 3d printer i guess. I found your channel through the chess board video that you posted recently, was that the first video that the algorithm really picked up. Like does it take 5 videos to get some momentum or is it just the hope that one will strike the interest of many… I‘m asking because I’ve been thinking about starting a channel myself and creators like you are inspiring.
@ definitely, it’s something when you get it you notice all the money you can save just printing it. Yeah, I started UA-cam awhile back 5+ years ago with CNC videos mainly then I uploaded some different vids again no traction I put UA-cam on the back burner , until one of my videos “mdf mirror” had a slight uptick in views so I said what the heck and did a few more and it all started slowly getting traction. Do it! If anything make a few videos wait till you start seeing an uptick and then go more in.
Binging your videos and I'm getting inspired to try some things out.
I’m so glad!! 🙂
cool build. camera gear is sooo expensive and this is an interesting option. i don’t know why you got so little views… deserves more
