It is not only the project. Not just your work. The art of explaining, the details and the camera position ist amazing. You are not talking to much and say allthing what is need to know. Great!
This looks fantastic, but more importantly, OUTSTANDING job showing the build steps AND for providing links for the parts and materials! EVERY how to build video should be like this one!! Thank you, techydiy, for producing this!
Had a crazy thought with these infinity mirrors. What if you built a circular one, where the distance of the spacer where the light sits, is narrow on one side, and wider of the other side (hard to explain it correctly) -so you can put a small engine on it to turn it slowly. That way you get the effect without having to move from side to side yourself. Depending on the speed of the turning, it could be a fun effect to play with, uneven spacing too.
Late to the party (as usual) but this is an extremely well done video. It's so simple that looking at the first minute told me everything I needed to know, but I watched all the way to the end because it was so well done. No chit-chat, not off-topic remarks, steady camera... Well done! Oh, and the effect is great. I especially like the jig for bending the aluminum strip -- the UHMW plastic discs are genius.
Have used this design for a uni project involving ws2812b, the stand is bigger due to all the components I had to put under it. It's not difficult to make you can cut some wood and just glue it to make the area where you want to put in the mirrors. Thank you for the help, as this helps to remove the glass very easy, for transportation.
It's really cool as a holo tv or game monitor. Space-saving even at 4 meters in size. Hologram in the forest and a river. And a treadmill in front.Or play games. Remember this is not only decorative colored it is also a mood light and relaxes your eyes when you add warm colors to it
WOW! Love this! I'm going to do this when I have the time/money. Your instructions are clear, camera angles perfect, and I feel like I could do this right now.
There's still a bunch of money here. Of course you can do other stuff with all the devices but you got to purchase them first. ^^ Router, router table, vertcal drill press, drill bits for the drill and the router, saw and most of all, skills. THe last one you don't buy it on shelves. ^^
Tx, man. I made one, and when my wife was looking into it I said, "boo!" and gave her a little push, just for laughs, you know.... she, um, she fell in, and , well..... she disappeared. …. That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it

Duckragon who gived you the permission to talk? You don't know my situation. I haven't the space and money to buy all these struments. So shut up bitch!
But it would not be that "dark" then. even if it would work with both sides. what i wonder is why there are inside and outside led tapes. would it just be enough with the inner circle.
Thank you Nigel, Absolutely to see your creativity and supportive technical comments. The pace is simply professional and succinct. Best of luck old chap.
Mojo Jojo you could easily do most of that with hand tools. And if not you could just ask someone that has the required tools if you could use them. Simple.
Nigel, a very good video. Well explained, well demonstrated, and no fluff. I particularly like that you gave the measurements in both Metric and Imperial. Again, well done. Cheers.

Nice job Nigel, Good to see someone who can speak in grammatically correct sentences and does a mechanically and electrically solid build !
The detail and description...amazing and very helpful. Such a cool project that I feel I could actually do based on this video, thank you
I will must try it. It's very easy but with machines. I have a drill machine only will do all work with that. Thanks for your great idea
How refreshing to see and listen to instructions instead of having music in the back ground awesome instructions awesome project! Thanks

Very interesting idea! I think it could be easy to try out by moving the mirror by hand before installing

Wonderful. And as an American, I love seeing the tiny differences in tools & technique. Thank you
Thank you SIR. Best instructions in how to video clip on youtube I've ever seen.
When craftsmanship meets his tools. The end result, brilliance.
But rest craftsmen quarrel with their tools.

Great video, I'm not a DIY person but watching this video is quite pleasing, sub!
Thanks
What is a DIY person ?
a person that do stuff on his own
Do It Yourself

In the past, many shops in Turkey made signboards with this system. I miss those times.
So how much would it cost with delivery?
How much price with delivery charge
Spend $15 and save a stupid amount of money.
And all those tools you need, must be expensive
I worked on the same design...
WOW! Love this! I'm going to do this when I have the time/money. Your instructions are clear, camera angles perfect, and I feel like I could do this right now.
Sensacional o efeito causado na iluminação .
Parabéns 👏👏👏
now this gave me a AWESOME idea . if a person wanted to do a glass top coffee and end tables , then install this idea to the glass tops .
I liked the way you explained the entire procedure. Camera work was very good. It supported the narration & script...👍👍👍
I love when you can make "DIY" without having $50.000 worth of equipment.
And explained in a way that everyone can understand.

Why are you losing time answering such imbecile?!
Why not two two-way mirrors
It is a two-way mirror. He said at the start :)
+Guo Yu You could do that
I just realized I misread your comment, Guo Yu, I didn't see that you said *_TWO_* two-way mirrors :P
But it would not be that "dark" then. even if it would work with both sides. what i wonder is why there are inside and outside led tapes. would it just be enough with the inner circle.
SawManga The outside LEDs makes it a brighter lamp. Mostly the inner LEDs are used for the illusion.
Watching you on the video been so easy because it's taking the time on each stage that's what I like
I absolutely love the way this video was precise, detailed and quick.
Anyone made a pc case with this yet?
great idea tbh
In Win made one called 805i (picture: d284x0ytlho6sy.cloudfront.net/images/400/AB83213_1.jpg )
I put a RGB+W LED strip in my PC case connected to the power supply, works fine
There is one) looks beautiful
Thank you for the image, that is stunning and gives me some ideas for my next pc build.
nice

Yah it is. It's quite easy to build. You just have to have some basic knowledge of how to use tools and how to measure and cut.
