Good talk, thanks! Loved the quote "you become a useless human, when you're a pro bike rider" 😂

‘Admin’ I first heard this great term on a Brevet Cycling tour in Corvara! My friend and daughter still use it. Unfortunately everyone else on the trip had plenty of time for admin waiting for me at the top of all the climbs and my descending was even worse..

From personal experience the whole cardiac stuff is quite worrying, they really still don’t understand quite why it happens

Great talk with Fred Wright. I have listened to several podcasts now since discovering you. Changing gears, I am a long time cyclist, worked many years as a bike patrol cop, now retired. Every bike/car crash I had to investigate was the fault of the rider, usually running a red light or stop sign, and often the mindset of the rider was I'm on a bike, the rules don't apply to me. These were not pro riders so maybe that might be the difference. Again, GREAT PODCAST!!

The short podcasts you post on Apple are incredible. Dude it’s so wild how you do short talks about topics that I’m going through every single day. I have so many crazy stories about me or a friend going through something with training and the next day BOOM a podcast about that exact topic is released. Love your channel. Thank you so much for the content.
