- Camping in a Ski Town || Snowboarding a Forgotten Ski Resort. In this video we stealth camp in a major ski resort overnight to be able to backcountry snowboard a lost ski resort that’s been closed for over 25 years. No snowshoes or split boards…
⚠️WARNING: Do not ski back country alone and ESPECIALLY do not ski without avalanche gear!

Looks like a great trip!
I think it’s great for people to see that “overland” equipment isn’t just for campfires on public land but can help provide access for new hobbies and opportunities to get outside!
Yeah that’s how I ended up in this hobby was camping at trail heads. Seems like a lot of it is just driving to the woods now but doesn’t mean you can’t have hobbies while you’re out there.
That was an awesome trip. Food looked amazing. Very cool to see late season hike and boarding. Thanks for sharing and look forward to your next video.
I love late season skiing/boarding, everyone assumes it’s over and you get it all to yourself. It just snowed here two days ago so the season goes on.
One of our favorite easy meals is potatoes, onions and sausage. Great video btw 👍🏻
Thanks! Yeah it’s an easy go to meal and I think I’ll be making it more often
Looks real fun!
It was a great time. I gotta go back and try it again with snowshoes whether I film it or not.
Love the poser comment at the end 😂. I think a lot of us outdoorsy folk can say that about ourselves at one time or another.
I was sitting there feeling my heartbeat in my temples, sweating and completely gassed like, okay I’m out of shape so bad. But yeah everyone is bad at the thing until they are good at the thing and I just have to remember that.
"it's not showing that steep on camera" *points to vertical wall of snow*
Yeah the little screen on the Osmo pocket is hard to actually see. It looked like nothing on that camera but it was pretty accurate. Maybe with practice (and snowshoes) I’ll go back and try that wall.
Great video, after watching your videos you’re making want to trade my Tacoma in for a tundra… keep up the great content!
I mean if you’re happy with the taco it’s a good choice. Sometimes I wish I had gotten a Tacoma but I need something with a little more towing. I love the space but I’m sure I’m going to miss the hard trails this summer.
@@OXFOOT I wish I had the space. Although I do love off roading and most of the trails I do are pretty narrow. That would be the only down fall.
You won’t regret the trade. I recently sold my 2020 TRD off road Tacoma and bought a double cab tundra, in quicksand. Basically the exact same truck as this but it’s a 2017. I thought I’d miss the Tacoma but honestly I don’t. Underpowered, small interior and I had the 5ft bed. Useless as a a truck on our property but still I did love it. I just needed more cab/bed space and the tundra feels awesome.
Also I’d like to add the turning radius on this truck is actually super good for a full size truck. It doesn’t feel that big when driving, I dunno maybe that’s just me.
@@SeanStewart88 I also have a 5ft bed and yes i can agree it’s pretty useless. I’m going to keep my eyes peeled on the market for one. If I come across one just like his I might have to pull the trigger if the price is right. Thank you for your input much appreciated.
Dude, I also board!!!! cool video
Yeah I want to do it more often but I guess just not on the channel based on this videos performance.
@@OXFOOT hard to add new types of content without people freaking out :(
Do a review on the rux box!
I have a whole storage video coming up the RUX will be in that one for sure
@@OXFOOT sweet I hope it convinces me to drop the dough on it 😂
