When I was a kid, my grandpa has something JUST like this. It was called a Seacamper. A 25’ house boat that doubled as a camper trailer. He took my for many great trips! Thanks Gramps!
Back in the 70's we had a Yukon Delta 25' HB which we loved. Yours has many upgrades we didn't have, but two things are missing that we discovered in an 11 year period. One, a windshield wiper. You don't miss it until you need it. Second, a depth finder, which can be self explanatory
Thank god most of the CB and Wally Worlds in the south are either volunteering to stop the over nighters or the cities are forcing them to stop. No reason for a rich RV owner to avoid the 35% bed tax......
Woah. That's some high quality design. Simplify the design, cheapen the materials, sell it for lower cost, I might consider buying it. Hell, a simple pop up pontoon would be neat!
That is so versatile. You can take it anywhere and stay in it. Only thing I would want different is most of the back cabinets removed. Make it more open.
My dream is to one day live in something like this!! I feel this is the ultimate design for flexibility and having NO LIMIT to where you can go. Can't imagine anything more freeing! I love how you made it so versatile and all electric! Completely self contained and sufficient. My cat and I would feel like one of these was a mansion!
Jean Guion / Why would you invest in a company that advertises their website, but the website is for sale? It looks like they didn’t many sales. Great concept even tho it’s been done before with buses that float and drive on the water.
Stopped and looked at this Land & Sea on the way to Kentucky. Wow! You thought of everything! It would be perfect in the Puget Sound and San Juan Islands.
Congratulation on your product but I have a few questions if I may? Can you guys able to build a hideout queen bed that you can put away up against the wall or able to put in spring load and put it straight up on top of the wall instead of small foldable full-size? 2nd question was wondering about if guys are able to do something more on upper level? 3 rd is what is your price on this model that you are presenting on this video? P.S I am tall and 250 lbs so I love your bathroom set up👍🙏🏆💗
@@jackvdbrug2669 hard to find one online, but I did see one that said "over $150,000 invested in this unit." I would assume that to be the for sale price as manufacturers don't tend to disclose their costs. For what you get that's around what I was expecting. If they ever get to be a mass produced unit, or make more than a handful of units a year, then you can expect price drops from 10%-25% as they buy more materials and get better prices. Still would need a ski and/or fishing boat to go with it though.
Weird question....but isn't ANY houseboat on a trailer also an RV? I guess it doesn't have the same adaptations for hooking up at RV sites maybe? Anyway, that thing is cool!
Ian Berger / I agree, it has a refrigerator, stove, microwave, sink, but no table to sit and eat. Bad design. Something should convert to a table, then back to a bed like boats usually have.
There's only so much space and the jack-knife sofas make the most sense for functionality. Can always get some tv trays or a lap tray or long style card table. The sofas would be more comfortable than a dinette.
Scott Baker I had the same thought. I was waiting to see him drive it on the land. I don’t see the difference between this and a garden variety houseboat. Am I missing something? Still a nice little unit. If you’re into RVing, this is very versatile and adds slow duty water sports. Kinda heavy.
Those generators a meth head's dream come true. Up here in Elkhart County and Lagrange County, Indiana, there have been times where people had their portable generators stolen in broad daylight, while the generator is in use. They roll up, shut it off, unplug it, throw it in their vehicle and away the go. Ones that are the most stolen by thieves, are these Hondas, as they are the most desirable, and they can get the most money for them.
Also, I have the exact same generator he has on this boat. Honda eu3000is. Yes, whenever it's outside being used, it's locked with a cable, and a big heavy lock that's impossible to cut with bolts cutters.
Wow! Great boat, but that weight has to come down. Why not use a lighter frame material for the cabinets? You could still do the birch doors, but a lot of weight can come off this vessel by going lighter with the frames. All that birch is too much. Looks nice though.
Such a beautiful rig ! I love it so much, I can already imagine myself sailing up & down the mighty Fraser River & throughout the Gulf Islands as well 😂 aaaaah i need ! What is the pricing on this beauty in USD or CDN ?
This thing is very nice the wood work is next level simple beautiful HOWEVER i would sooner build my own guessing this thing is around $10,000 nearer to that than $3,500 i am going to pay to build my own that will have way more more. Using a pop-up camper tossing it on 3 pontoons make a little deck all around sleeps 6 people. The only downside is the bathroom have a idea or 3 on how to make it bigger and better. But it will be 100% green power and no Permanent motor so no registration it will be more of a barge that i can attach a small 10hp motor to kind of a grey area legally 😉 also it will have a small water cleaner i have a small unit that you pour a half gallon of river water lake water into and it cleans it enough to drink going to have that custom set up with plus under the sink Beretta 😉 so wont have to worry about water but still will have 50 or so gallon clean tank.
@@jugglerpilotdude this boat rv is $100,000 ? Screw that i thought maybe 50ish k was using 10k just to make a point. I get paying big for some things. Like the V-trayton 2.0 trike, that is a bicycle a boat and a camper all in one that sleeps 2 freaking love the idea of it does still need some things worked out like the price tag of like $16,000 USD but again having the skills and tools building it yourself is a tiny percentage of that
Looks amazing but alittle bit worried about how exposed the AC unit is and the speakers even on a small lake the wind will make the water a little rough just seems like spray would cover them.
And to think, I've been trying to figure out how to float my camper. Boom! I love it. I still think floating my 20" camper with a patio is better. Note, I on one hand have not done it yet.
Haven't thought much about other possible design issues, but I was immediately concerned about the very short distance between the A/C fan and the waterline. Seems to introduce a risk of A/C damage or even potential flooding. Overall, nice idea.
Just think of the money you could save by not paying for a campsite. You also wouldn't have to worry about reserving a campsite. You just need to add a outside gas fireplace and bingo.
Brian Nielsen Camp sites $25/night. RV Boat $89000. Might take a few hundred weekends-do the math. Just buy it and enjoy it for what it is-super convenient.
