Which new monster is your favourite? :D
Saberfloof
All of them, especially gelatops.
Antillery
gelatops
BoomerAngutan
An endless mode seems like an interesting addition.
Yeah
Might open up the opportunity for more data collection regarding balancing and meta as well as providing a time sink for people who really want to challenge themselves!
for sure
I agree
yes please!
Tomorror i finally get a somputer and i'm gonna get this game right away!
I think the whole “using small peices of the legendary monsters ability’s” it’s a great idea! An awesome way to make to super moves more unique with out being OP
The amount of jokes in his video is very entertaining
Looking forward to the first update, goodluck and congratulations
An endless mode would certainly be a welcome addition for me, and I do enjoy the little critters I'll get to tame, as well as the super skills!
An Endless mode of some sort definitely sounds like a really good idea long term, as the idea of going into a run where you have no clue what you'll find and what your strategy will be. Which really would give players a chance to try and play around with monsters they may have avoided due to getting comfortable with a few monsters they know they like.
I definitely would also suggest things like run modifiers and maybe some sort of score/leaderboard system for that mode as well, as that would add some fun competition and uniqueness to that mode as well.
I definitely think the updates/upgrades for the super skills are really good. I definitely think I'll be more inclined to use those skills then I was before since they seem more worth the energy lost in using them. Since I had avoided them before as I wanted to stay on the mounts as long as possible and having the energy drain from that move made it harder to feel worthwhile as it directly reduced the time I could use that monster.
Honestly super excited for how this next update is looking already, and I am looking forward to the next devlog to see what you do with the new areas!
Endless mode? say less mate gimme that rn
Yeah lol
I don't play video games but I'm a programmer and find these dev vlogs really interesting. Since I don't plan to play the game I bought one of the amazing pins you're selling to show support. Good luck and great work!!
Regarding the sheeperd nest, i think u can give player limited nest each run they played. So that they will not be too overpowered
In my opinion, even if I never use it, endless Modes in games are great.
I love the monsters, but Snodo, Lunon, and maybe Steagull don't really feel like they should be in those areas
Snodo does, as dodos are extinct, so It would make sense that he's in the fossil biome.
Maybe as more areas get added they’ll be moved to make more sense?
And lunons can live in two different areas which is the volcanic zone and the ice zone
@@nicomom9534 Yeah I can rock with that, but the thing is that it's name and design make Snodo feel out of place. A small change in it's name and how it looks should solve it
@@Napogaming-gt8nk Oh, was this stated in a previous dev log. Maybe I missed it. But, the thing is that not all of us now this ( specially the new players ). I think making another version of Lunon might fix it. I can picture it being a more aggressive version of Lunon with a color palette of red and gray. Might work
8:30 I saw someone (Retro?) trigger this already by taming the slime spawns from an elite poislug. Apparently the mini slugs count as minor monsters? And they grew up into allied slugs.
Hey lemon. Love your vids and game keep up the good work 👍
Also endless mode sounds cool
Yes!
Liam: if your already a pro at patch quest
me who cant beat one dungeon: breathing intensifies
I haven't reached a dungeon yet😄
Maybe I should switch to explorer mode🤔
@@denycast not me because of this remembering that mode existed and making a new file with it on
@@kristyryan8419 Glad I could help😁👍
already did 3 dungeon in 2 days
i just realizing im wasting my time by beating those monsters in between non important stage so i just use monster with leaping ability and
*_SPAM IT ENDLESSLY_*
In my opinion, the Rougelike elements from the Fall Public Beta Version of the game were the only thing I missed in the Steam Version. Having a Randomized Endless Mode would fill that gap and make the game much more "whole". Heck, maybe even eventually have an option to choose between a Randomized map or the preset one on save creation.
The new monsters look amazing, and honestly all the ideas you mentioned felt the same. I LOVE the implementation of elite skills, plus the idea of a more classic roguelike mode really seems like a perfect solution to any potential longevity/replayability problems. Listening to this has made me more excited than ever about this game!
(By the by, I wasn't all that interested in devlogs in general until my husband put this on--and your videos are fantastic, instant subscribe.)
Endless mode sounds pretty cool
Really impressive what you've been able to accomplish! Tester mode and/or Endless mode seems really cool and like a great mode for more replayability. A Daily Run system for that mode would be really cool.
I thought of suggesting endless mode before even hearing you mention it in the video!
19:14 didn't expect that
I don't know about an endless mode, but a sequence of rooms of a random biome that after defeating spawns a harder sequence of rooms of another random biome seems pretty fun for a secondary/post-endgame mode
Wow! The new mounts are looking so cool!
Looking so forward to the full game! It’s been a blast watching your progress!
A randomized endless mode sounds awsome you should totally add that
just wanted to say that your videos were one of the first i started watching when i first got into game dev this year and was hugely inspiring!! it’s so awesome to see how much content you’ve been able to put in since i started following! also your editing is really good :D
I really like all the ideas you presented here! I would be happy if any of them end up sticking in the full version.
Super cute monsters! I am particularly fond of the gelatops
The endless mode ideas is so awesome please do it!
Man idk how you have so many good ideas for mobs, I love it.
Your work is awesome! Endless mode with small quest will be appreciate!!!!
Love your vids! cant wait to get the chance to play this! I was on time for the beta but my computer arrived like 2 days too late and now I'm about to be able to buy!
Nice work, it seems like you've done some really great work! :D I think Snaipalm is my favourite new mount! Not just for the name x)
Also Endless mode sounds like it will be a great addition to the game!
An endless mode sounds SO COOL! And all the new and renewed monsters look so awesome! I also *really* like how you made the Super Attack the monster's Elite attacks!
If you can match the synergy quality of Enter the Gungeon and Slay the Spire, Endless Dungeon Run will shake the Roguelike industry
This looks really cool, amazing work!
It would be cool if you added little quests and stuff to get special rewards for example you’d have to go to point a to point b without shooting any monsters and you get an extra pet slot.
The problem with this game is that someone will eventually ask "What monster is your favorite?" And that is impossible to answer because they are all freakin' amazing
Additional modes are always welcome, any additional content is included fact
Since nobody else said it, I’ll have to do it myself:
Rasmus said hi 😄
But anyways, I love the video!
I can already see the potential no-blaster-challenges, where you would only be able to use your lasso, and thus would create critter armies instead!
Just an idea, maybe make it so that the healthbars are actually a skill grid upgrade and not instantly unlocked, I think that would be very cool.
I LOVE the news supers skills
just got the game and I'm in love with it
Endless or challenge mode seem like an amazing idea.
I'm gonna play this game asap! Hope it blows up
That Endless mode would be great!
im a roguelike player and Patch Quest is already so fun as well. if you add an endless mode i will play this game an unhealthy amount lmao
Awesome update!
Aw shit, endless?
Different gamemodes? That sounds dope!
I really want to see an endless mode, but I really really want that you make the Metroidvania-"mode" as good as possible.
Love the new additions!
an endless mode seems fun
Endless mode would add some more replayability. I like replayability
Endless mode seems really fun
I REALLY hope this game does good enough to someday end up on consoles and mobile, and hopefully solid copy (disc and such)
Endless Mode sounds great.
If you market it correctly you don't even have to invest too much resources into it but i think it would be great to have
The extenden Super skills are a great idea! I hope it's not too much work. But i think interesting movrs are a core aspect for many players.
An endless mode would be really nice!
You could also (rarly) add plitting paths wich lock behind the player once taken. Maby The „Crossroad“ Room could tease wich powerups await the player on each route?
yeah an endless mode would be quite good i think
My day is amazing now
You have some very nice games in your steam library
Sick new update!
Haha, I love these new monsters! Great work :)
2:24 GRRRRR.
haha ily Liam
Just found this game! It’s amazing!
I would love to see an endless mode
I think you should add a limit to recruiting monsters.
Cool! The new monsters are awesome.
Cool devlog
Rather than "tarry" I think a "vunerable" status get the point across better. There could be multiple ways to get this debuff and although they all act the same (for simplicity sake) they can have separate animations.
Example (we will use 10dmg as standard)
The tar puddle inflicts vunerable and when hit you catch fire and take 10 dmg.
A "curse / hex" could give you vunerable and when hit you could get a needle shoved into you and take 10 dmg.
Both instances of vunerable do the same thing (10dmg) but it is easier to understand and both have different unique animations and a different feel.
An endless mode would be great
I really like what the game became!
snowdo is probaly my new favourite monster
Very nice!
Hell ya endless mode with specialized perks would be so cool!
When you complete the game you should make the endless mode a randomized dungeon in your base that was recently discovered, and you have no idea what could be in there.
Steagull should be by the sea because, you know, it is a seagull.
PLEASE ADD AN ENDLESS MODE THAT WOULD BE SO AMAZING
Yes
Nice video!!
endless mode is so cool!
Epic.
An endless mode sounds fun
Yo I know this is a huge ask, but if you made it mobile that would be absolutely insane! It would be so fun to play on the go and I think it would be a really nice addition
Awesome! :)
Endless mode would be great!
You should nerf the Shepherd
net so you can only tame three groups of enemies
yes
Perhaps if you have a large amount of critters you can’t mount a monster or when you mount a they disband.
Cool!
An endless mode would be cool!
Is there a way to see your current tree upgrades for a run? That would be a pretty convenient feature (unless I just missed it entirely)
I say hypnoth should make enemies fight each other as a super ability
mochi monsters, pilfer abilities, what's next, silkbind abilities? (looks great btw)
POG!
Nice.
hell yeah lets go endless mode!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very nice cok my friend
Hey I love your game, and I really like your new monsters, but I already have a full five pets. Are you planning on adding a way to let players have more pets (maybe in like a party system of sorts)? I really want a Steagull but I’m so attached to the ones I already have.
I'd love to see an endless mode
This game looks fucking awesome.
