    Lol my first car was a 2000 v6, I got an 03' GT convertible now. Man these new edge engines last a while. Such reliable cars, got to 196k miles on it with no issues!

    I bought one of these for my first car for 2,000$ with 178k miles. a while later I through in a 4.2l v8 with 36k miles (got it for 800$) I love my car. many people hate on it but I've always wanted a mustang and it felt great when I bought one

      stock v6 mustangs are slow, theres no getting around that. For an american muscle car the 0-60 is pathetic.

      I have a 2000. I have also done some mods to mine. Sure it is not a gt. But it has it's upsides. One being it is 100 lbs lighter in the front. I went with brakes and handled on mine. As well as a cai. The exhaust is next.

    Just bought a 2000 Green Convertible for 1000, it had been hit by a car on the passenger side door and quarter panel, already replaced the door, and bought a replacement quarter panel, as well as some other parts from a salvage yard, but it runs great and looks great even with the noticable dents it's gotten from the previous owner, just needs some love :)

    If I were to choose between an Ecostang or a v6 Mustang, I'd pick the Challenger. Don't ask what that has to do with the low-powered mustangs.

      +Doritos Man hahaha v6 mustang spanks challengers rt all day haha so i dont know how are v6 mustangs and ecoboost low power, haha they spank v6 and rt challengers!

    • @justyouraverage2869
      @justyouraverage2869 8 років тому

      +ps31871 Of course. An RT has about as much power as a Mustang V6. If we compare a Mustang V6 to a Challenger SRT, what do we get?

      Doritos Man and what about if we compare a 5.0 vs the srt what do we get? hahah my point is a v6 mustang beats the base v8 model of the challenger haha

    I have a 2002 (110,000 miles) yellow mustang. My dream car. It leaks engine and power steering fluid. I'm afraid to drive long distances but don't want a new car. I love this car. Can I replace the entire engine and "fix it up" so it runs like new again? I don't mind the cost, I just wonder if it is possible to make Van Zant (yes, he has a name!) brand new and safe to drive ...and keep it another 18 years. Where does one buy a car engine? Do I need an auto body place or a mechanic or a magician (or all 3) to make this happen? I don't know where to start. All helpful comments welcome! Thanks so much!

Its faster than a 98 eclipse gs, 94 240sx, susuki aerio sx, 00 civic si, 06 cobalt lt, 92 celica gts, 94 3000gt sl, 02 gti 1.8T, 12 mazda6 2.5, and a 05 altima 2.5 I know cuz i beat them in mine wen stock. mines modded now and the fastest cars i beat was two 98 mustang gt 4.6 with intake and exhuast, i actually pulled LOL. 0-60 stock with a4 is 8.2 sec and with a stick 7 sec. mines at 6.2 with an a4 :p, good times and fun, reliable car.

    @Pendragon1989 The 2005-2010 v6's are still way underpowered too. The HP only went up about 15 with a 2000 V6 Mustang to a 2010 v6 Mustang.

  • @Astro-Sloth
    @Astro-Sloth 12 років тому

    if its in good condition, no problems at all , automatic transition yes it would be a great deal. it would be good idea to contact the seller though and ask for the car fax. if it has been in an accident you can get it for less. also you can maybe try to haggle a bit. A regular v6 2002 mustang with about 100k miles on it, in very good condition is worth 4,878 if sold by a private party. go on kelly blue book and put in the cars info it'll tell you hat its worth. i would say go for it =)

      Aaron Leopold V6 3.8L Mustang from my opinion its very hard to upgrade and it doesn't have any performance intake manifold.
      The only manifold I found was a Windstar manifold from a van which would not help maintain the hp I had planned for and i don't want to waste my time buying a new manifold everytime. Unless i swap but ill end up spending too much money and time on it.

    John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only one and begotten son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Give your life to Christ and be saved we don't know when He is coming back but it's soon and we have to be ready for His return. I love u all to tell yall this❤. Get right with God or get left behind

    For some reason I find that the 1999-2004 new edge look smaller than the 1994-1998 models🤔🤔🤔🤔

    Is that good or bad? I mean, you can easily increase the horsepower to 200 or 250 by adding a few mods
