- De_vertigo and de_aztec where recently cut from CS:GO, I hope they will come back updated and reworked. So today we will take a look at the de_vertigo and de_aztec remakes from Counter-Strike: Online 2.

I loved the old maps
Hexaquan I don't like how they are changing them now. They look a lot better but they aren't the same as the old ones D:
Vertigo was my fav map. I don't really care anymore, I abandoned CSGO and moves to CSS

Because CS:S is simply a better game. Better community, engine, opportunities, more fun. Look at all the multigames servers for example, bhopping is easier and actually possible, because there is no cap, deagle is lovely, one map... It's not worth staying with a game you don't enjoy. Also CS:S runs at 400FPS for me while CS:GO was on 80.
And no. I was not boosted. I got myself to gold nova lol and later my classmates ahahahahah

Well probably because the servers on cs 1.6 is fucking shit filled with parachutes. not being able to change your class

thats mostly all the servers i find on cs 1.6 but on css i kinda rarely find something like that.
Because of my colourblindness I never played CS:GO Aztec because I could not tell who was an enemy and who was a wall.
That's unfortunate.
I gotta say, the guns in csonline2 sounds way more satisfying to shoot than the guns in csgo

Sadly no, at least not for me. Nexon uses a special file format only they seem to be able to open.
I really liked both maps - but i think valve should - if they remake them - make some rather drastic changes to them.
I'm just triggered that dust is gone.

I love Aztec. It was first map i played on Counter strike. On versions before 1.6. On 1.2, or 1.3, 1.4. When games like CS, Team Fortress, and many more have all been in same HL folder, and you started CS or any other of this games from HL game.
2:03 you see ivan, if you hold peestol like me you will never shoot the inacurate cause you will trow the weapon at your enemy
Valve almost removed every map
The Fool who picked the wrong house removed? What about d2? Cache mirage? They were removed because it was for a special operation...
cs_assault and de_aztec were my and my friends' top favourite maps, plus rats maps and mansion maps (back from CS's 1.5 era)

I didn't notice at first that the "USP" in CSO2 is a "USP Match".
Aztec and Vertigo, beautiful looking maps with great gameplay potential. The older maps fit the theme of the game much better than all these new maps, which look far too cartoony to fit the CS style, which was always closer to the photorealism of Half-Life.

i dont get why they cut those maps. i had so many fun playing this maps with friends without going full tryhardmode... Just for fun like in the old days... but now only Office survived this x.x i'm done with csgo. always wanted to stop playing it and with that cut maps i had my reason...
i dont get why the maps were removed in the first case. More playing options=more fun i would guess

It feels like yerterday I played these map on 1.3 and 1.6
When CSGO said that they would add MORE maps, they deleted the legendary ones like; Aztec, and Dust
I really like playing vertigo on casual, it's a fun map. I was very upset when valve cut it off the game :C
If we had a classic comp setting that was not ranked, people would play more of these maps.
The game CS wasn't about a lot of details and their effect, it was always about good and contrast vision of the opponents. There's always need a balance, and balance should be more to less details and more good vision. That type CS I will always like!

If you want to play these maps go to the work shop and type in vertigo or aztec and then compatibility version and subscribe to one of them

the old 1.6 days. dude how old are you? the old days ist pre steam. I remember when steam was forcly introduced with 1.6. and the whole community went crazy! But sooner we all enjoyed it and steam is a pretty usefull thing.

Vertigo best map.
I await the day where the only CS:GO maps are Dust 2, Mirage, and Cobblestone are the only maps. Cobblestone was left in only because to keep variety despite much fan backlash for such a poorly designed map to still be in a game. In fact valve have been getting flak for not tweaking Mirage and Dust 2 to accomodate the professional pc gamers needs.

The continuous stuttering and mumbling really ruined this video.
Well then you wouldn´tt want to experience my pc. I often get stuttering in games, especially after Alt-Tabbing
Or play Far Cry 3-5, almost everyone gets periodic stutter
These versions look way better than the ones in Global Offensive.
