i've been skating for 4 years now, fall in love with speed once i started getting the hang of the flow on the streets. that workout is for sure HELL, just quit with 2min left but i'll keep doing it

What is the training response to this workout? - Strength: Is it close enough to failure at any point? - Aerobic endurance: Never exhausting breath wise, but perhaps for the barrier between blod and cells in the working muscles? - Anaerobic endurance: obviously, but at what point? Does it mimic a 10k? - Mentally: perhaps the most of these?
I skimmed through this and feel like I could try it at 2x speed so long as I try and do the movements at 2x speed… if only I could set the rest periods at 0.5x with the 2x excercises. There was a time when I feel like I could have done this and it would have been great but I’m a long way off it now.

Of course I work it with experimenting knee/hip foot angels etc. what do you think?? I’m a 20 year old professional soccer player and I want to improve my strength for deceleration and stopping plus raising my lactic endurance/ tolerance so that I can run more sprint more without getting tired and get lactic in my legs early on in games etc, I’m looking to be able too work at a maximum intensity/ capacity cardio vasculary 20-60 seconds max intensity for example with out reaching my lactic threshold at all.

Is't possible or not to achieve muscle gain with isometrics? Why do many say no?
Maybe a dumb question but, do I need to warm up before the this workout or can I just jump straight into it?
I think you should do some sort of warmup before any workout to be safe, but it doesn't need to be too much for something like this
