Hey Randy absolutely outstanding seminar Randy I have struggled so much trying to get bit . But in the past I didn't have this information and I'm determined to get good at jerkbait fishing. I like the finesse jerkbaits I'm intimidated by the bigger ones but I'm going to have to learn to use them. Great great video bro . I've never seen such a great video on jerkbaits . God bless you and your family your pal fisherman Mike.
Thanks, Randy! Just started fishing this year and haven't had any success with jerkbait yet. I can't wait to put these tips to use at Kanapolis Reservoir here in Kansas! Your squarebill seminar has landed lots of fish for me, so I wanted to show my appreciation for sharing your juice.
I love my megabass whip snake rod but I also use a bait caster all Shimano curado have 7 of those and 7 lews metanium reels the curado paired with dixie rods custom jerk bait rod is awesome equipment means a lot especially when I’m out on the road Fishing, the Mlf PBLf series Thanks for the content, Randy love it.
Some great info. but i do well with Megabass landsat- same exact specs as whipsnake. Suffix nano braid to #5lb flouro. catches great lakes smallies into the 7's. have never broken off. days where i get hammered. and.... all my Daiwa exist or shimano exsence reels dont require back reeling.....ever.
Randy, great video. I have done quite well on the vision 110 jr but lately my go to finesse jerkbait is the Shimano zumverno 95. The secondary action created by the flash boost is a killer! I also catch quite a few of my jerkbait fish, jerking while trolling around my pond. I cover more water and catch a lot more bass this way.
Honestly in water 42 and below seems to me they strike better with the pull and stop just a little twitch then pull again i draw them out 30 plus ceet water with that technique in winter and i lnow but i scope them watch them come 20 feet to hit it
A very informative seminar. I have a few Megabass X-Nanahans but have not thrown them but will try them out the next time I have the proper conditions. I know that you are a proponent of the Megabass Orochi Whipsnake for this technique but why do you like it better than the Megabass Orochi Ronin? Looking at the Ronin, it would seem to be an ideal jerkbait rod.
Very informative finesse jerk bait video from Randy except the doesn’t apply to my northeast Florida lakes. We have no bluffs or rip rap and points are a rare thing here. I’ll figure it though.
4# line with $15+ lures... I know you will get more bites but fishing rocky rivers you would havecto re-tie every 3rd cast. I can't go any lower than 8# and I'm still scared.
I’ve pretty much quit buying Megabass jerk baits. I catch more on rogues and strike king baits. I know Megabass baits are good . But I guess it’s something about the way I work them. No sense in paying $22 for a bait if they don’t work for me.
I’m not sure what part of the country you live in but here in Missouri about the only thing that catches fish or megabass maybe because of the heavy fishing pressure we have
@@AdvancedBassFishing I live in Ohio. Small lakes and lots of fisherman . I’m sure it’s something I’m doing . Jerk baits are not really my favorite way to fish.
I was thinking about livescope and I had the thought placed in my head that it's another step away from God. I feel like the devil has this world with so many things and us as people want to control and God has all the control.

I love that Table Rock color , purple back chartreuse sides
I got the x75 Nanahan on that pm midnight bone. It’s the juice. Great lure.
Good vid! Watched it in bits and pieces. Thanks
Great seminar. Can't wait to put some of these techniques to use. I can't catch fish on a jerkbait for the life of me.
Thanks Randy that was an awesome seminar.

What size hooks on the smaller Megabass jerkbaits? Thanks much. This was your best advanced series video so far.
No 6
What is your opinion on Megabass HT and FA finishes on jerkbaits? Any good colors there?
